I had a 750i for 7 years. It was a really great car. Kept it maintained and it never gave major problems. Only repair needed was led daytime lights. And that was covered under warranty. Granted the i6 is the engine to go with for long term reliability 😇 Supposedly
BMW discontinued the M30 after 1993 after a twenty five year production run. The M5x DOHC "baby six" was offered in the E38 only for non-North American spec vehicles.
Love the channel, but please stay away from the range rovers we get enough Range Rover reviews. I think there’s more range rovers in the junkyard than there is on the road. I never see them on the road but you see them in the junkyard all time.
I own a Range Rover Sport and it is one of the most comfortable safest and reliable vehicles I have ever owned. The most unreliable have been the 2 BMW's I had that I bought new. No major mechanical with them just irritating electronic stuff.
Randy, I enjoy your channel but I miss the walk arounds that you would stop and bid on the car. Also, I miss the videos that you would pick up the car and then drive it home. Hopefully you'll do a few of those soon. Keep up the great work Randy!
Man I'm so glad you save all these old cars because I watch this one channel about a junkyard and I see all these cars that aren't even 15 years old in a junkyard and it breaks my heart😢
Randy, on the 7-Series, the passenger side airflow was set to "floor" and the driver side to "panel," hence no airflow out of the passenger vents despite the fan being on high.
@@hamskyxxx I have a 2010 bmw X5 xdrive30i, over 235k miles on it all highway miles, again like he said FOLKS DONT TAKE CARE OF THEM. I own this exact car! Same color and all mine is just an Li so its the long wheelbase version. Mine has 175k miles, the inline 6 engine is reliable and much cheaper to maintain than the dreaded V8. Rare to see a 740! A gem!
Those little Saturn vehicles were just an Econo box, but it brings back memories. My mother-in-law used to work at the Saturn plant in Springhill Tennessee and she was the person that put the doors together and then installed them on the car. she took my wife and I on a tour of the plant and the different buildings. Got to go in the building where they built the engines using the lost foam technology to build the block for the engine. They had the engine building. They had the chassis building, the engine building and then they had the building where they put the car altogether.
I’m 18 and just got my 2009 750i 2 weeks ago, it’s been pretty great so far, it ride so well and then also has alot of power!! Truly in love with mine.
Does it burn any oil? I know yours is the first iteration of the N63. I'm currently looking at 2014 or 2015 750i because they have the N63TU motor. It's a bit tough finding one with good service history.
The air wasn’t coming out on passenger side of 7 series because the fan was pointed to feet only, you can adjust where the air comes out on both sides.
Hey Randy, just wanted to let you know that I watched today’s Cole Park walk around you do a awesome awesome job on it just keep the Contin coming which I know you will do. I hope you have a great rest of the day and I’ll talk to you soon again.
Might as well order all parts to keep it from overheating now. While you're at it, order a power steering pump. I, of course will be looking forward to the struggle captured in video. Thank you, Randy.
Randy, that BMW 740 has Full 2 zone seperate climate control up front. I can see the passenger side is set to blow out on only your feet. You found the blower speed control but you also need to set😅 the blower mode to vent instead of foot ;) Honestly, I would LOooooooVE to see that 740 on the channel! I've really been thinking about finding a decent 740/750 that just needs some TLC / and/ or minor work like that one does! Honestly, most of the stuff I've had to repair on the 750iL I've been working on for my friend/customer has just been time consuming and not very hard. Except for Changing BOTH rear air struts, that ABSOLUTELY SUCKED without a lift!!!!
Between my dad, brother and I, we've had about 17 BMWs now... all the way from e30s to f30s and an f32. We've had them up to over 400 000km (250000 miles). Maintenance is a HUGE thing on any Euro car. Many people buy them and cant afford to maintain them properly. These cars end up for sale after they break, and this is where reliability is questioned. Get one that's been taken care of properly, even with high mileage, and you'll notice that even the "problem" motors can be (somewhat) reliable...
Randy..I love the videos, but honestly sounds like you may be gettin a lil Burt out on certain ones. gotta find what makes it more interesting “to you” which you hint at in this video, we will watch regardless. just keep your drive going brother. Watching since 2019 love the content man 🤟
At the very end when you looked at that junk Saturn, why couldn’t you look at the infinity that look like it had no hits on it at all that you set your bag on !!! By the way the rims and tires look damn good on it since you seem you’re always attracted to that lol please check out the Cadillac Escalades they do sell and they’re easy to work on. Also if you see any infinity SUVs, they’re pretty hot too.
BMWs reliability has drastically improved since about 2018, they are one of the most reliable brands now according to Edmund’s, consumer reports, and JD power.
If you're really buying into that I have a bridge in the desert I will sell you cheaply. It's still an overpriced, over-complicated German car with a resale value that plummets faster than you can say "iDrive."
Randy, I’ve been curious for quite some time you and monkey wrench Mike to sit down and tell us about how we became friends and tell us some stories of you all hanging out together. Seems like you all been friends for a very long time.
Can we please! Look at more Hyundais elantras specifically I seen a couple i own some and just wanna see some like mine on the channel I remember you used to have one when u we’re uberman
I see that 07 Saturn Ion would good project can't see the same for forth generation Firebird with smash front end someone failed tried put back together
I wanted to ask you I just looked on the copart website since I did not hear what the year was on the red Pontiac firebird that you have in this episode when I tried looking it up I could not find the car. Closest look was from a car in Tucson Az. Since I can't drive a stick I'm interested in either a Camaro or a firebird either in the 80s or early 2000s in an automatic
get the 7 series. that motor won’t let you down anytime soon even with those miles. i have a 2010 bmw 528i and i have 203k on it and back in September it had 184 when i got it. never let me down once and i beat the hell out of it
Almost worst idea ever. At least it's not the E65/E66, notorious for being an Ugliest Dog Show contestant and a long way from the model's peak with the E38 design.

As a current 2018 7 series owner I say run far far away from that one.
My 17 750i hasn’t been that bad tbh, and I drive the shit out of it most of the time lol
Thanks for saying the truth. Mercedes and BMW owners never admit how rubbish the quality of their car is until it cost them their mortgage.
Engine and trans have been bulletproof on mine. All the cheap nylon cooling lines have been my nemesis.

Hey Randy, please check out the black 2015 Mustang you walked by today in your Copart walkaround video. It's at the 20:15 mark. Enjoy your videos!
if you want a BMW, the 6 cylinder is the go-to engine. BMWs bread & butter is a straight 6. they cant make a good v8 worth a damn.

I had a 2003 760li. hands down the best riding car I've ever owned (when it was running)
Randy. I think the person who jacked the key on the Range Rover is probably going to bid on it. Without a key present not many peeple will bid on it

I was about to say the same, some BMWs have it.

the bwm 7 series passenger a/c was set to blow on the passengers feet randy. but i know you didn't glance the small icon on the temp control
That C250 with open engine and bird nest on top of it had me rolling lol 😂 😂
Randy, you should know that there are many great BMW cars, you had one. The diesel X5
At 18:48 u missed a grey/black Toyota tundra

Did you see the CT 200H at 20:20? It has a german "emissions sticker" on the windshield. Intriguing... haha

If you can't fix it yourself or you can afford the BMW shop prices, run away from most BMW models.
