It's actually more effective to put the wax in the opposite direction of hair growth and the pull in the direction of the growth. This ensures that the wax gets the root as you're applying it, helps to open up the cuticle and prevents hairs from breaking and leaving the root which can cause ingrown hairs. It's kind of like bulk plucking. Still love your videos and find you give so much helpful and useful info. Keep them coming!

Hey, for all of you with slightly more sensitive skin, sugaring is a great alternative to waxing that's very similar to waxing. It doesn't hurt as much and exfoliates while you remove the hairs. I suggest you check it out!

I would say the pain is the same even though it was in different parts of the body. Everytime they did it, I jumped and still do, not actually jump (they lay you down) but like a whole body spasm (hope you understand what I mean). it's not that bad and it only hurts in that precise moment. if you still have questions let me know, hope I helped a bit 😄
ariannatuttapanna1 If you have dark hair, multiple sessions of laser hair removal will permanently remove the hair. Electrolysis will work for blonde hair too, but it takes a long time to do large areas and I think it can end up being expensive.

maya strich i think it also has to do with just skin discoloration. You can exfoliate that part more often which will result in lighter skin there, i have the same problem
try using vitamin c serums or something that has a brightening effect and also exfoliate, chemical ones are probably better, something with glycolic or lactic acid. The pixi glow tonic has glycolic acid and there's a lot of good and affordable stuff from a brand called "the ordinaries"

Exfoliate before and after waxing then apply lotion I recommend cerave sa smoothing cream cos it can help reduce blackheads/kp on ur thighs. And use aloe Vera gel it can help for redness
You can wax the facial area :) Or you can use a beauty razor meant for womens face. You can use it all over the face. They're small and normally come in a pack of 3

i am an a beauty therapist. just want to say all the information provided is correct only have to note that you can go over the same area twice not just once if you need to but of course try not to tweeze the hairs if its only a few. aswell a tip to save on your wax strips they can actually be used a few times before needing to be swapped. you can use them about 4 times in a row also if you press the wax stick firmer on the skin when applying you will be more likely to get a nice thin application.
I've been getting my legs and my arms waxed for about two years now and I've noticed that I have really big dark pores and no matter what i seem to do it just stays and gets worse. i also get ingrown hair and weirdly stuck on the surface hair a few days after waxing on my legs and i have no idea what they are or how to remove them. any tips?
+Areej Sheikh the dark pores are likely because of a build of of oil in the pore which oxidizes and causes the dark look. Do you exfoliate? Try a DIY salt exfoliator 3 times a week. This will also take care of the ingrown hair

you mean (red bumps). it means you are sensitive skin if red spots appear in your legs, hands etc.. u can watch many tutorials based on sensitive skin hair removal. even i get red bumps in my hand alone. so after shave or wax or creme type removal, i apply body lotion or after shave creme to avoid getting bumps. this is how i do. even though after all these process done and u get bumps again then the final way is to dye ur hair (lol).

you mean (red bumps). it means you are sensitive skin if red spots appear in your legs, hands etc.. u can watch many tutorials based on sensitive skin hair removal. even i get red bumps in my hand alone. so after shave or wax or creme type removal, i apply body lotion or after shave creme to avoid getting bumps. this is how i do. even though after all these process done and u get bumps again then the final way is to dye ur hair (lol).
