I don't think so. He uses his ult and dash like any other hunter. He has an AOE like most other hunters and his 2nd ability procs all basic attack items. Also his passive is to do with his basics so I think it's fine he is a hunter.

One of if not the most boring god to play in this game they could have done so many more creative things with this god especially considering the ones we’ve gotten since him. I think the new god is super cool. The lore was one of the best interpreted videos by Lore Lady, the skill kit is interesting (because I enjoy when the skills interact with each other) and the escape is not a simple dash or jump, like most, and I love the black shadow daubed on the wall, encloses the sense of Chernobog. I fell in love with this god at first sight, although perhaps it has a very anime look, and not so much slavic, but both the splashart and the model are very good. Well done Hi Rez.
FINALLY somebody gets it he actually looks really interesting and has a kit thats both interesting but gets results, everyone I've seen says hes garbage but if you actually do the math and compare his dmg with other hunters (purely from an ability standpoint) hes on par with other ability based hunters like neith or ullr add into it that he has auto attacks that do extra dmg every 3rd hit and hes perfectly fine. i dont think he needs any buffs or debuffs
His abilities are actually not that bad and very simple I don't expect an immediate nerf out of him and hope I can play him once and get bored. I'm also really excited about the other new pantheon god's coming to smite, I was thinking it was ridiculous since they haven't even gave the celtic pantheon enough gods but oh well the more gods the better.
I KNOW y'all ain't done your community dirty by suggesting leveling his 1 first... His 2 buffs his attack speed and has a shorter cooldown. Not to mention the fact that it's more reliable for direct damage and waveclear (since Crystallized Curses is a static AoE, and his 2 is a quick line projectile)

He is actually super similar to Kai'sa... multiple hit stacking ability, long range snipe that applies stack, movement that gives invisible and bonus attack speed, and ultimate to teleport to enemy.

only really "op" part of him is that 40% dmg mitigation on his ultimate. Apart from that, his kit is pretty underwhelming
