Hello Heath. Nice video and some of that Indian food looked delicious. Nice to see a few establishments that I have visited in Jomtien. Thanks for posting this one. Cheers 🍻
I literally have the same snapshot 2 days ago, of the coffee from Cheap Charlie's, after accidentally finding the breakfast spot after my visit to the Immigration office. (as usual, great video Heath!)
Thank you! I appreciate you taking "one" for the team by visiting McDonalds. Another quality video. I wanted to jump through the screen and devour that kebab!
Hello Heath, another informative video, sir. I am going to be in Jomtien on April 10th for 90 days. I would love to meet you and treat you to a meal, a beer, or a glass of wine, or the combination of the three. A little thank you for your informative and entertaining videos!
Nice and informative Heath, plenty of options there. A Thai street food vlog would also be interesting - going to take your advice on Kebab chap in Rompho when I finally get back to TH next week 🙂
i always give thanks for a person like you who put some energy creating a video like this one, I would say keep up this good work, Greetings from Amsterdam the Netherlands.
Loved it, Heath! It is safe to say that I would eat everything in this video, and then some.. Even McDonald's food would glide down like a charm. Pst, don't tell my fitness coach 😂
Very informative and interesting Video. You’re definitely spoiled for choices out there in Pattaya. Some great places to eat at decent prices. I think if you could do the same regarding Thai restaurants will be much appreciate it. Thanks again Mate.
Great video, thanks Heath. Looks like most of the western food is a little pricey but that is to be expected, although the Kebab looked like the best value. I hope you didn’t shoot that video in one day !!
Good round up of Jomtien & Sth Patts popular farang restaurants here Heath. Surprised Caddy shack, Meat stuff Swiss & Pulcinella restaurants not here as considered very good value farang restaurants too.👀😎👍🏼
I like the video very helpful! The Indian food looks like I could’ve eaten off of that for a day and a half probably ha ha. Great prices on the kebabs. I am interested to know any of these dishes that you ordered if you would’ve ordered through Grab. Any guess as to what the cost of that would be? Planning on retiring there in the next year. Trying to come up with a budget I am budgeting $10 a day for food. I like Thai food and probably plan on eating that 70+ percent of the time. A video on Thai food would be extremely helpful. The more menu prices I can see the better.
Excellent Video . Thanks Heath For your next "Farang" Food video ,... check out the 99 Baht Daily Specials at " GOLD MONKEY" - Corner of Chaiyapruk Rd and Jomtien Beach Rd
A video showing folk where to eat decent Thai food at reasonable prices would be valuable. These foreign restaurants are fine for the two week millionaires but for those who live here an understanding that Thai food can be healthy and much cheaper can only be a good thing. My craving is bangers and mash which I'll have maybe once a month. 😮
Check out Longhorn and Beefeaters as well as Patrick's steak house in the Arcade on Second Road at Soi Diana. Excellent food for a mid range price. For a very tasty meal - try Harlan's
I was a bit surprised when I found it, but Hemmingway's is a solid place. Good food, good service, Aircon, clean and decent price. I find most of the Indian/Turkish places in the Pratumnak/Jomtien area aren't nearly as good as those near walking street, not even close. Cajun Cafe on Pratumnak Soi 5 has excellent food but it is a bit pricy. Cheap Charlies is decent, especially for the price. There is a local Greek restaurant that always pisses me off, no matter the time of day they don't actually have any Greek food 😆
Very good video 👍 I walk to Rompho Market a lot, but the only kebab I have found is an elderly woman with a little cart. Where is this place located? Thanks.
There's a few good steakhouses in Pattaya I want to film but they are in a small arcade area and at the moment there are too many people in town. Coming soon. 👍
looked good mate, what to you reckon the % of Thai food you eat is?, i think for me its probably 50% Thai, 30% Indian (love Indian food in Pattaya) and 20% would be farang food
What is it with that English breakfast n beans!! iiieuuuw. Prepared cost about 4x as mutch as you would pay in the store uncooked. Papaya salad sticky rice n chicken beats beans tho
Funny to think that these days kebabs, Indian & Mexican food are classed as western foods, but as they all come from the west of east asia I guess that technically they are in Thailand.
Ugh... You are what you eat I guess... Ultra Brit taste still I see.... Tigglebitties has a Thai menu and the raw prawns were extremely good as the only place I visited out everything!... Definitely need a Thai neigh Isaan adventure.. Thepprasit rd has dome great places, although you might need someone to translate.. Can you handle a few chillies and fermented crab?
I drove right past that today. Ill try it tomorrow. 1st place 😊
Great blog heath you've definatly shown us were to munch in jontien
Thanks. I'm glad the videos are well received. 👍
Great video thank you. Like many, I’m planning for retirement there and getting an idea of the prices is always good homework.
Thank you. I’m glad you found the video helpful. 👍

You're welcome. 👍
Thanks Heath, Nice selection of Western food alternatives. I love Kebabs a great on the go meal especially after a big night out 🤪😎👍
Cheers Robert. They are a great morning carb boost when you've had a heavy night out. 🤣
Excellent factual and to the point video. Thanks.
Thanks. Glad it was helpful. 👍
All that food looked good.. enjoying your content.. keep it up🎉
Thanks Gary. 👍
A seriously useful video +1. (I've never been to McDonalds in Thailand over countless visits 😮.)
Thank you. 👍
Nice one Heath all looked good , I have used a few of them and really good and well priced cant go wrong
Thanks Barry. 👍
Nice content 😮😉👍🎉🎊
Thanks 😁

Yes, a street food video is a good idea. Thanks for watching. 👍

Greetings from Amsterdam the Netherlands.
Thank you so much. 🙏
You're eating well Heath. I'll try a few of them out when I'm there next time. Cheers.
Cheers Rob. I would skip the McDonald's though. 🤣
Great video, very helpful in my researching the area , thank you
Glad it was helpful. 🙏
Loved it, Heath! It is safe to say that I would eat everything in this video, and then some.. Even McDonald's food would glide down like a charm. Pst, don't tell my fitness coach 😂
Thank you Sarlina. Good to see you are still enjoying my videos. 👍
Excellent,, very good choice of clip,, thanks
Glad you enjoyed it. 👍

Thai food video is a MUST have,
-- I still don't know what I am ordering half the time.
It shall be done. 👍
That New Indian Restaurant is the best for taste.
Good round up of Jomtien & Sth Patts popular farang restaurants here Heath. Surprised Caddy shack, Meat stuff Swiss & Pulcinella restaurants not here as considered very good value farang restaurants too.👀😎👍🏼
Thanks.. I did have the Meat Stuff breakfast on there, but the video was too Long. I will be making a video about that place very soon. 👍
Great video Heath,
Glad you enjoyed it. 👍
Please do, do a Thai version, but you might need to do a bit of explaining of the dishes - cheers

Thanks. Many restaurants are listed on Grab Food. Normally it's about 20% more expensive to cover Grab's charge to the restaurants.
Excellent Video . Thanks Heath

Thank you. I did a Sunday roast video there and the video was well received. 😎

My craving is bangers and mash which I'll have maybe once a month. 😮
If 200B a meal is breaking you, 7/11 is your place.
Bangers and Mash at Sevens on Soi 7 is one of their 99 bat specials twice a month ;-)
Check out Longhorn and Beefeaters as well as Patrick's steak house in the Arcade on Second Road at Soi Diana. Excellent food for a mid range price. For a very tasty meal - try Harlan's
Yes, I've tried the Longhorn and Patrick's. Excellent places. 👍
looks good
Thanks. 🙏

Iceland here in the UK has healthy meals for £1 (about 40 baht). An oil massage at 300 baht (£8) with someone a third my age? You choose.
Very good video 👍 I walk to Rompho Market a lot, but the only kebab I have found is an elderly woman with a little cart. Where is this place located? Thanks.
Thanks. He's just to the left as you enter and pass the market entrance. Although I think he said he was moving nearer to the front soon. 👍
My experience is he's been closed in the evening.
Good video
Thanks. 👍
Those kebab prices are decent. I’d stay away from McDonalds though!
😉
🤣🤣
Both kebabs look great how much Heath?
80 Baht.
@@fromoneendofthailand £1.70 for a kebab🙄😙 in Glasgow your talking £6.50 unbelieveable
what about a nice big American sized ribeye steak and baked potato?
There's a few good steakhouses in Pattaya I want to film but they are in a small arcade area and at the moment there are too many people in town. Coming soon. 👍
Id head to india for those prices
Do those restaurants run specials? Early birds? Late owls? Midweek?
A long way to go for a curry and to save 50 Baht. 🤣
looked good mate, what to you reckon the % of Thai food you eat is?, i think for me its probably 50% Thai, 30% Indian (love Indian food in Pattaya) and 20% would be farang food
I would say 80%. I like Thai food.
What's the biggest difference living in Jomtien rather than Pattaya? Are the condos a bit cheaper? Is there fewer bars? Fewer bar girls?
I will be making a video about the differences next. 🙏
A bit of a review would be nice, and having a lady with you saying "aroy mak" gets 100s more views I bet!
yes, Heath used to have that but it didn't work out. I'm guessing he's still enjoying the peace that comes with not having a girlfriend
What is it with that English breakfast n beans!! iiieuuuw. Prepared cost about 4x as mutch as you would pay in the store uncooked. Papaya salad sticky rice n chicken beats beans tho
enjoyed it but can we have a 5 star taste rating
Thanks. I was thinking that, but it's subjective. Apart from the McDonald's, all were great dishes. 👍
Funny to think that these days kebabs, Indian & Mexican food are classed as western foods, but as they all come from the west of east asia I guess that technically they are in Thailand.
Good point. 👍
@@fromoneendofthailand You only need to travel a little bit further east before everything except local food is western food.
& by the same logic, if you live somewhere like California everything you eat is eastern food. 😁
@@GaryV-p3h Yes, I agree. In the same way Australians are referred to as Westerners here. 🤔
need some real bacon on those plates
Any chance of Veggie/Vegan alternatives? There are some good restaurants that offer meat free food
I do know of any I am sorry to say. 😕
Not being funny but if i wanted Indian food I would go to Bombay
There's probably a Bombay Restaurant in Jomtien 😂🎉.
So go to Bombay then.
What's stopping you?.
Cool vid. I'm always looking for food bargains.
But how r u not fat after filming/eating all that?😂
How much was the Rompho kebab?
That was all I ate over 6 weeks 🤣. 80 baht.
Lamb kebap s are also available in Jomtien. Little pricier but heavenly tasting....
Yes. 👍 @@ChristianRauber

Well, I suppose India is west of Thailand 😂😂😂
It is. 👍
Indian food ain’t western.
A few healthy options would be good also
Horrible music
Thanks for the feedback.
