- Bellagio Las Vegas Prime Steakhouse offers a wagyu filet mignon steak (6 ounces) for $125. The Prime Bellagio Las Vegas menu also includes dry-aged bone-in ribeye, peppercorn-crusted New York Strip, cold water lobster tail, and roasted Chilean sea bass. For dessert, White Chocolate Creme Brulee, New York Cheesecake, Lemon Meringue Tart, Strawberry Ice Cream Sundae, and more. We get two great types of reviews on this channel. Catherine gives great descriptions of what she is eating, what it tastes like and why it is or isn't any good. However, if you just want a gut-feeling, review all you need to do is watch Derrick's face!
That's the first upscale restaurant that doesn't have the music blaring!! I could actually hear the conversation!! Not gonna pay 125.00 for 6 oz! That's crazy!!
This couple, is a special foodies 💑. Love their laid back attitude toward each other and the way they describe the different foods. Just a joy to follow their videos.
Man that looks delicious- all of it! Nothing beats a high end steakhouse experience. Not only for the food, but the ambiance and the attention to detail (the service). For each review you do I look forward to Catherine’s descriptions and reactions. She a great addition to the channel.

I get that high end steakhouses in casinos have the highest prices. But this is ridiculous. Everyone - go to herbs and rye or cleaver if you're in vegas. Better drinks and great steaks for far less money

Personally I'd rather cook steak at home, steakhouses always seem like a rip off to me. For less than the cost of his filet mignon you could get a pound of A5 at costco.
It must be a treat to have really hot food, rather than tepid buffet food. We love Jose and his loving humanity.

The indulgence of Fine Dining is always a treat and great for special occasions. This year was our 42 anniversary and it’s the first year we missed Vegas due to borders being closed from Canada to United States… sign…next year we’ll be there for sure to celebrate, once again. I had $15. Pancake at the Wynn ( don’t remember name) coffee shop in 2006 , your paying for staff( labor costs ) and space. Pancakes ingredients are relatively inexpensive item to make. Yep gone is the cheap eats at least on the Las Vegas strip .

I've been there at it was absolutely amazing. Definitely a fine dining experience. The bone in Ribeye and filet were nothing short of Devine.
And from the outside you wouldn't think much of it

I love the drapes at your table. Gives diners a hint of privacy. A classy (exclusive maybe?) touch. We saw this a lot more in steakhouses of the 60’s & 70’s and it’s such a romantic touch
Those prices are mental - 21 bucks for some leaves lol! Even for Vegas, that place is clearly just for ppl with more money than sense - thx Derek for taking one for the team :P
Yet, it takes a good bit of sense in order to actually acquire to finances to afford such treatment..... so,......
I always wondered what this steakhouse was like. I think I saw some windows, possibly facing the fountains? Both of the dinner choices looked delicious. If any of your followers haven't ever had the opportunity to try a A5 Japanese wagyu beef, life is short, order the steak. They described the experience and taste perfectly.
I'll pass. If I had a $700 wagyu steak it would completely ruin shoe leather steaks for me....forever.

I love Chilean Sea Bass, it was hard to find on restaurant menus for a long time so I hope it is coming back. That steak looks incredible, I wanted the surf and turf with the filet and sea bass together, I can afford to go way overboard watching videos and living vicariously through you two.
Love your videos. This was great. Been to prime years ago. Excellent. But watching the both of you describe the food is so much fun. I always feel I’m right there with you. That steak looked amazing. Hard to spend that much money on a small steak but you only live once. Can’t wait for the next one

It is Wagyu Beef though, not just filet mignon. Wagyu beef sells for about $300. a pound. I will never have the funds to eat Wagyu beef but I know it is incredible!

I absolutely love your videos! This is a great video! If they have reopened the “Seafood Buffet” at Bellagio please, please, please do a video on it. It used to be spectacular & “yes” it was pricy everyone said but worth every penny, the four of us quickly decided! We stayed at the Bellagio( love this hotel!!!) few yrs ago & ate here couple times but did the Breakfast buffet & Dinner Buffet at the Bellagio, just about the whole time of our ten day stay! Thanks for always making the best videos ever, I don’t care what the subject, you do an amazing job! I feel like my husband & I are sitting right there with you both at your table!! but youre also paying for the service, ambiance, location, and of course, the meal..
From the look on Katherine's face, this steak needs to be on your wedding menu.
If I was sitting in Derek's seat, I would have cut the steak in 1/2 and given it to Catherine. She would cut the fish in 1/2 and share with me. That way we both have some of the meal--kind of a make your own surf and turf. Maybe an idea for next time...

So glad I decided to learn how to cook really well from scratch. I can beat the pants off of places like this. Incidentally, rather than listening to the clanks of plates and silverware along with chatter from other diners, at my house we've got classical music playing softly in the background and only our relaxing conversation to enjoy.

Wagyu is so rich it does fill you up pretty fast, but I'd like a little more than 4 bites I agree.
I can't stand overpriced stuffy restaurants like this, it's the last place I would go to and I always leave hungry. I would rather cook a steak exactly the way I like it in the comfort of my own home but for some reason I like watching Derick eating at these places.

What a beautiful Restaurant! I was very impressed with the Bacon wrapped Shrimp🍤🥓, Wagyu filet mignon steak🥩, the Chilean Sea Bass🐟, and all of the fixings for that potato🥔! Wow! I'm also glad that the cheesecake did not disappoint!🍮Take care!💖

Just one bit of information to add - if you are going solo to Las Vegas Prime only allows reservations for at least two on Open Table the last time I checked. Would love to go sometime when I’m not by myself!

been there too amazing ..the seafood bowl market price was amazing ,,,all perfect from arrival to leaving all stunning ......amazing place keep it up
I love Chilean Sea Bass, had it at Harbor House in Seaport Village in San Diego. It was fish of the day on a platter so I didn't know what it was until I finished and asked the waiter. I like that the cheesecake had a different crust, because most cheesecakes have graham cracker or Oreo crusts(sometimes shortbread lately), so it's nice to see a restaurant put some thought and effort into that too!
Honestly if you’re going to do expensive stuff like this, just try like rivea or the Pierre gagniere restaurant, twist, or go to Michael Mina and get the prix fixe menu, or try l’atelier de Joel Robuchon when they reopen. But the steakhouses are honestly kind of the same no matter how expensive you make them, it’s easier to cook a good steak at home.
Definitely going here when I finally make it to Vegas 💕
