Great vid, you know, in a strange way, your review makes the Bellagio look brilliant. Hotels have historically not made money on buffets. With that in mind and now back from COVID, the Bellagio is saying "what do we have to prove, let's keep it simple, we're not making money anyway"... The interesting part... This does look better than the Bellagio. They need to step it up and at least offer the quality I see here at the Excalibur. Between the two, you guys have given us an easy choice at the Excalibur... Again, great vid, love to you both.
Catherine is such a delightful addition to the videos. I love her opinions/commentary! Also, that is an excellent price for the buffet! Everything looked delicious.
My favorite part of this video: Derrick is tasting the fried chicken, and Catherine is looking at him with hope that it's super yum. That's love. ❤️❤️ This buffet looked really good! Not super duper fancy, but good, fresh food. YAY!

Derrick's fixation on the cold eggs ruined that video for me. We got it, they were cold, but every minute that's all he focused on....move on. He should morph to 4 and 5 star steakhouse's, and skip the buffets. His video's are no longer the one's I loved watching.
My Grandfather's last job was building the foundation and structure of the Excalibur...anyway thanks for the detailed buffet video. Part of the fun is seeing all the food and deciding what you would get. You two do an excellent job of capturing the experience
Wow, I NEVER would have picked Excalibur for their buffet, but this actually looks pretty good! It's not fancy like Wicked Spoon or Bacchanal, but seems like a decent selection with some interesting options.
That's a pleasant surprise, Excalibur was considered one of the worst buffets in Vegas, and It's nice to see they have improved so much. Just hope they start opening weekdays, and hope that the buffet at the orleans opens soon and get's the message from excalibur!. Great job guys!!

I've eaten at the Excalibur Buffet in the past, but this looks amazing! After seeing your recent review of the Luxor Buffet, I didn't have any expectations for this one. But wow! I may need to revisit the Excalibur Buffet on my next visit to Las Vegas! I hope they keep it up that way!

What a fun review! Just like old times. I was ravenous by the end! I noticed Derek took the top plate in the stack, not the second. I was urging him not to accept the end piece of brisket, but the ribs made up for it. The custom crepes were the ultimate. Thanks for the entertainment!

Nice to see more buffets opening up; maybe one of the surest indicators that Vegas is on the upswing. Even better to see the Excalibur buffet looking better than the times I had eaten there in previous visits (mid-late 90s) price has increased considerably since then but so has everywhere else.
Great review on what used to be a terrible buffet. I would go there now. I am still waiting and Hoping for my Favorite Value buffet, Palace Station to open up.

Wasn't a fan of the Ex caliber anything last time I went. 20 years ago it was an awesome experience! I ate at Benigans next door at the New York New York, best filet mignon in Vegas!!

the thing is its reasonable no concern of covid by touching spoons/here across the street they give gloves and use a mask till you eat we have a buffet only around 12 for lunch called flaming grill and they heat meat up in ny long island trop in atlantic city closed i guess from covid the resorts has a allacarte palce open

The buffet is open on weekdays Monday, Thursday and Friday. They are closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Excalibur isn't as bad as the luxor

From what I read palace station won't be opening again. They claim they lost money. It's a shame too because they did a beautiful remodel.
