Ben thanks for the great video as always. Love the route previews, that's probably the biggest decision point that I make when I'm deciding what races to sign up for! The extra "prize" of a bolo tie for a completion time is a super cool idea. I'm so proud to be part of the bike community that is trying their best to make the sport as inclusive as possible with non-binary categories. The race I'm doing Saturday, the Dirty Dino in Vernal, UT, also has a nonbinary category. The "spirit of gravel" if anything is about inclusivity, so I'm so proud of our community for sticking to that. Thank you for highlighting that with your platform!
I'm jealous of Colorado. I remember an interesting article from some years back in Conservation magazine that went into all the steps New Belgium had taken to green their production line. Even using the gas production from the fermentation process to produce electricity to power other parts of the facility.
Great video, please do more of these types. Introduces the race well and set our expectations, covers most of the important points. I may consider this now.
We need more events like FoCo fondo that welcome everyone and give to charities that the community. Some events will not do non binary and basically tell us we are not welcome. Others will have it more after thought or kicking TINB out the women or men field then not give the same respect as to the men and women's fields. Keep up the good work to the event organizers. Maybe next year when I can afford the trip from SoCal to do your event as it is on my list to do.

I think it’s brave of you standing up and saying you’re just not ready to do this event until you’re able to accept and understand there are people out there different than you and be able to interact with them. Once you guys feel ready to break out of your shells and experience events with all kinds of people, just let me know and hopefully FoCo Fondo will still be around to introduce you to a great gravel riding event experience.

That looks utterly fantastic! Wish gravel biking was a thing when I lived in that area....definitely missed out on some great riding
