About the Avani. We used to stay in the original Royal garden resort from the late 80s up until 1991, when they pulled it down to make way for what is now the Royal garden shopping centre. During 1991 we saw what is now the main hotel being built. We were some of the first guests to stay in there when it opened and the Manager gave us 14 days for one week tarrif😊

Another great walk about as always.the longhorn I can definitely recommend.I eat there every trip .thanks for walking about and showing everything I personally think it’s one of the best things about your channel.best regards damon 👍🏼
Hi Trevor it was great watching this video. I always stay at the Welcome Plaza. I've been staying there for so long I get on well with the staff. And because I stay at the Welcome Plaza I regularly eat at the Robin Hood. Great food and friendly staff. The only negative is Max. His customer skills need improving. When Max comes to your table and asks if everything is OK you can tell he's just going through the motions. He's not interested. I cringe every time he comes to my table.
Love Avani, stayed there many times, the gardens and swimming pool with swim up bar is very nice. Go out the front doors straight onto 2nd road,go through the tranquil gardens out the back door, straight on to Beach road. Trying the Areca Lodge in August and see how that is.
@@mfpix yes I’m keen to see myself, great location,I would go to Avani always but I’m going for 15 nights so the budget wouldn’t stretch to the Avani this time, got a premium deluxe room with breakfast for less than £30 a night. Avani was £100 per night.

Avani Hotel is under Minor Hotels. Minor bought the hotel in 1978 and its name was Royal Garden Resort under Marriott Pattaya. Later it changed its name to Marriott Pattaya. In 2016, Minor took it back and rebranded the hotel as Avani Hotel
Yes, I agree with the Robin Hood being an excellent place for a meal. My Mate and I had one in there yesterday I had fish and chips thin fries and he had fish and chips with the thick fries and I’ve never seen fries that thick ever in my life. The fish was very tender and melted in your mouth and we will continue gastronomical tour of Thailand, specifically Pattaya, following buzz and other TH-camrs restaurant recommendations.
Ruenthai is indeed pretty tasty, and they got a dancing show with music that might be interesting to some. Service was a bit slow though. I visited that wizard brewery back in January when I stayed at Intimate hotel (decent place for the money). The hotel check in gave me and my friend free beer voucher so we checked it out. Honestly the place is rather bizarre! Strange atmosphere, but I guess they got live music at night. It was pretty expensive though, and our 'free' beer was more like a taster size glass so we downed it and left.
Hello Trevor, I really enjoyed the video this time. You showed me some places I really want to visit, especially the expat grocery store and those steakhouse restaurants! And the way to Jomtein. If I ever get my house sold, I can move to Thailand. Thanks for taking us.
I have been to the Avani several times. It is a great hotel. Very nice, well air conditioned rooms. They have a very nice breakfast and the bars are good too. The pool is fantastic! The pool is partially circled by a nice garden. Kids and adults are plentiful and really enjoying themselves. At is really easy to relax by the pool during heat of the day. That’s where the problem is. It is super easy to spend the whole day there. At sometime, you’ll want a drink and lunch, too! The prices and the poolside bar would be ok if you were in Las Vegas but in Thailand? They charge US or European prices and there a one hour long ‘happy hour’. The hotel is on the high end for hotels of this caliber.
I've kebab'd on that corner walking back to the Vogue from WS and LePub several times. Food is good, don't worry about the pish about too close to the road.....every food stall on Soi Buakhao would be farked if that was the case. I have to say the quality of massage lady down that end was pretty good on the quick walk past look....I think theres more study required. Cheers for the vid Trev....great as always

Hi Trev, great video. I stayed at the Welcome Plaza Hotel and was crap. Limited hot water and the breakfast was cold. Ive also stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel many many times. Great hotel but the breakfast is nothing special.

Where in Pattaya can you find an American breakfast ( eggs, hashbrowns, bacon or sausage, toast, and coffee) . Do you think you can do a video for us American's visiting before Sep. Thank you ps. love Indian food, I know there are very many places there to enjoy the food.

Welcome Plaza Hotel:We used to stay there but on one occasion I managed to break the glass top on the balcony table in two parts and I was charged a 1000 bht. A couple of months later we booked in there again and got the same room and the glass table top had been stuck together with duct tape. My Mrs went down to reception and had a steaming altercation with the reception desk staff as obviously the 1000 had been “Trousered”. Never stayed there again and now go to Chabba Hut.
I saw a good review on Chabba Hut and thought it was very reasonably priced, about B750 a night with a pool and nice natural building materials. But I didn't notice a TV in the room? So is there a TV in the room?

I went to 2nd rd and met lots of Chinese with Aussie Accents. Apparently they told me that there into being good cooperate citizens. They send girls from Hainan to Australia to work in the brothels, but teach them to make friends with lots of Aussie girls. Then its really lucrative when the Aussie girls visit China. Its a way out if yr Asian, apparently. Some of these Asian blokes spend a banana on these liaisons with aussie girls. I never could work out why these Chinese girls had Aussie Accents. 12000 to 14000 steps a day you are going to be nice and fit perfect for your age , and you couldn't find a more interesting way to do it .
That's the plan!
@@Buzzinpattaya Trust me I have done it walked it all everyday and by the end of my monthly holiday I was so fit to come home and enjoyed every minute of it .

Its like cyber crime no one gets hurt & everyone is constantly happy- they say. Take care. Good vibes (?) Oops double parked. Got to glow.
Omg lol. I've also heard of this. I'm curious though, why does it always end up with girls at University. Is this a new wave way a girl can break through the glass ceiling? Ingenious and raunchy!
Gotcha
You are smart to film early before The girls are all hiding behind their happy hour cards or yelling at you "No Video"
cheers mate
100 bhat for Kebab!!! Hell No!!! 😱 I pay from £6 to £9 for Kebab in London. I eat from time to time. Damn London is expensive! I might as well just move to the land of the smiles. 😊❤

Has there been any issues of over-tourism in Pattaya or Thailand in general? Or could Pattaya use a lot more tourists?
