I really enjoyed this episode and it was really interesting to see inside Brograve Mill. It does look ghostly with the wood all gone and just the metal ring gear teeth remaining!
Superb video, thank you. I never knew the river originally went on further than Bridge Farm. Every days a school day as they say. There is actually a road which has since been made Private 🤦🏻♀️ just before Dairy Barns at Hickling , that took you to Bridge Farm and out onto the main road. I bet it was used as access to this part of the river. Is it marked on your Blake’s map ?
I will definitely have a look, but I believe it is as the road used to go over the bridge to the Lound Brickworks - yes, it is showing as a road. I am currently working on two more 'Another River' Episodes - one of which is really interesting as I am trying to get access to a hulk of an abandoned boat along way off the current navigation! Thank you for watching and we love your channel too!
@@lovelifeloveboat I look forward to the next 2 episodes. I’ve tried to film a wreck .I know it’s location but after a 2 hour walk I never found the entrance to the location. Now the area will be overgrown with grass and covering it over. Ill have another go at reaching it, by day boat this time and if I still can’t get to it I’ll give you the details and photos and you’ll make a far better video than me . There are so many wonderful stories out there on the Broads just waiting to be told.
Hi Steven - I am a little OTT with my canopies and only just started rolling them (Very carefully) as we had the clears replaced last year - the sides and front I try to just lay flat in the mid cabin - I have never once managed to fit the rolled canopy into the drop down flap... New owner for an S34? Congratulations - where are you based?
@@lovelifeloveboat I love the boat for the price and size nothing on the market compared. Also watching your videos help choosing her... lol. We are bases in Portsmouth we are from romford but maybe next year once I have more knowledge and confidence bring her closer to home
Hi Garry - Thank you for your question, please could you email me at the published address ukboatingnews@gmail.com and I will happily discuss this with you.
