I love it when I see something I would never do. Paint colorful circles and curves on walls and ceilings! It’s beautiful! I love it when a home reflects a persons personality! Seeing this home makes me want to know this guy!
It takes a curated eye to use so many colors successfully and he's achieved it. The proclivity toward curves and circles makes sense because of the feminine representation of those shapes. I wish we could have seen the bedroom but I enjoyed what we did see.
It doesn’t matter if people hate it. This is HIS home and quite honestly, I think he’s done a fantastic job decorating it. It’s unique. I love it. What matters most is that he’s content with the outcome. That’s what matters. :)

The ruin mural is so cool!! It reminds me of how they had the walls painted at my childhood roller skating rink, but better! I'm a plain white wall superfan, but I might try that in one of my rooms
When I told people I painted my bedroom purple, thay asked "How do you sleep in here?" Answer, "Lights out, eyes colsed". Love your wonderful use of color!

Many of this young man's generation have a nostalgia for really bad Miami Vice art deco kitsch, and are recycling that and calling it an aesthetic. And with a Victorian house just to make it even more tragic.
Love the vibe he's created, but I feel the colorful and never-ending mural in the stairwell's walls and ceiling are a bit of overkill, as the eye has no place to rest and thus darts hither and yon aimlessly. This endless mural effect on the walls also tends to make that particular space feel so much smaller. Perhaps some extremely pale cream or white walls would have served the space better in that area of the house. Creativity is great, but it is even better when tempered with a touch of moderation.
