- Of course Atlus had to nerf Nyx by a lot, cant have the same FES experience.
He only gets 1 attack per turn now.
de-buffs last for 3 full turns now (due to having 1 turn nerf)
His aoe Almighty Attack has been removed (That can crit) and can spam.
Made him scripted attack pattern asf.
His Voice Suck.
With all the tools they put in Reload, it has become a joke.
Ryoji words of Nyx cannot be beaten are meaningless now.

In p3p the fight took me 2 hours each time I tried and got it after like 20 tries 💀

I just beat it on hard mode and it was way easier than p3fes nyx, i thought he was harder on merciless but its the same

@BuffMaister, Whether Nyx was buffed or nerfed, I have enjoyed this journey that I could not enjoy in the original game (I never played the Original) and I do not regret it

I gave all the magic incense to Yukari knowing she would be my healer late game, charging her Theurgy every heal at 1/4 SP cost. I played normal mode. Yeah she was pretty OP, lol!

sucks how I had to use a difficulty mod just to at least not be bummed out by the final boss. I literally ended up one shotting nyx every phase and I thought it felt extremely underwhelming compared to FES

I’ve played FES 10+ times though. You could honestly you could so easily trivialize Nyx in FES with just a tad bit of Monad leveling. I was honestly impressed that Reload’s Nyx was actually killing party members for me even with my entire team at 99 and having a lv 99 Orpheus Telos. I think if I had kept myself to being of level, around the 78 range, then Nyx would honestly be tougher here than in FES.

Edit: I will say my biggest gripe with Reload Nyx is it not having 2 actions per turn for some reason
Personally, I can’t stand getting stuck in the games I play, so I don’t mind that Nyx is easier.

no. not as easy
Not quite, especially the Magic builds, including Almighty. Now Almighty Amp can only be gotten from skill mutation, so you have to rely on complete luck. Oh, but that's not all. There's an upgraded version of Magic Ability called Magic Mastery (unlike in Royal, neither work with Almighty), and guess what? Just like Almighty Amp it can only be gotten through skill mutation. But wait, it gets even worse, because unlike Almighty Amp it can't be inherited.
Truly the fusion system ever.
There's a general limitation of 4 inherited skills only, unless it's a special fusion. Which will only allow 5 (or 8 with Telos).
As mentioned, the mutation only skills are very hard to utilize, magic mastery especially. But as there is a 4x boost cap, you can have the same effect with simply doing boost x amp x magic ability x driver. Almighty Amp is actually pretty easy to get, although almighty is not that great due to reasons mentioned beforehand.
On the flip side though, stats are quite easy to build up. Since they reinstated stat inheritance. A feature missing in P4 onwards until now. Basically, if you put quite a lot of incenses to a persona, the stats from incenses can be passed down in fusion. But the amount given will decay by half after the first step in fusion. This can be utilized by registering the boosted persona and use it in a lot of fusions to pass down its stats all the time.

I wasts time leveling up to 99 mc and 99 messiah, i thought Nyx would be difficult to beat,
..... unfortunately the fight was too easy , all his attacks did no harm on me nor my party (unless mine got reflected)....so yeah guys, do not max your stats if you want to enjoy fighting Nyx

I know it's to make it more consistent with the rest of the outdoor scenery caught in the Dark Hour and amp up the horror vibe, but damn the green doesn't do it for me like the OG. That pale and overcast look was really nice.
