Oh it’s just the camera frame per second. On the screen they blink but they are solid on the hardware Kind a like when you look at a helicopter blades spinning and it looks like it’s not moving I think it’s 60 frames per second
Thanks for the dedication bro...it really really helps....bought a MPC but was a software producer, recently gave up on MPC, but you're bringing me back....thank you so much!
Just drag and drop tracks into DAW and arrange from there. Make sure kicks are on their own track inside DAW for mastering purposes and side chaining with bass (if you have over lapping kicks pitched lower and higher make sure to side chain those and that they are on a separate track inside your DAW). Make sure instruments are on their own track inside DAW for mastering purposes. You don't have to separate every other percussive sound in drum track for mixing you will drive yourself insane but you can treat snare separately if you must (for example add a gate). Record mute and solo automation in DAW on the fly to actually fit the vocal track better.
@@yvesbajulaz I’ve seen others just mute out the whole 64 bars on one sequence it works pretty good or I’ve seen people use the pad mute on 1 64 bar sequenceTo make the whole song fade in and out
@@PoliPopo I just did a bunch of testing... it works if you use automation for pad mutes in your sequences to work in song mode. But the mutes slightly slow, so it might not catch an item on 1, may have to move item by one tick forward (it was an issue in jjos 2xl and got fixed, so all mutes would come on before any notes). Bug in mpc live, if you go shift stop, it takes you to zero but doesn’t re evaluate mutes first when it starts, so a chirp comes through, but if you go play start it does evaluate. You can see it from the list edit pointer. If I have the energy, I’ll do a bug report... Thanks for your time and replies :-)
Yo! I love your videos there always in detail and on point. I have the mpc live2 with software and pro tools. Do I even need pro tools now that I have the mpc live software?
What's really cool is that if you're using the NPC software you go to file preferences and scan your whole c drive you'll be able to use pro tools in your NPC software as well

Old video but super useful and great channel in general, thank you mate. Why don't I get the B Pad lit up as you do? I have nothing at all in B just as you have too for C, D, E etc..
Poli how are you? Quick question how do you make your pads and buttons on your Mpc x flash like that? Hella cool.
Oh it’s just the camera frame per second. On the screen they blink but they are solid on the hardware
Kind a like when you look at a helicopter blades spinning and it looks like it’s not moving I think it’s 60 frames per second
I love your perspective bro!
I appreciate you for watching and thank you very much 💯

Great Video my man .. Easy as 123
This is fantastic. I like your demeanor and I’ll bet we would be friends.
Thank you very much I am not a beginner and this was very helpful I was doing this the hard way. Thanks.
Thanks for the dedication bro...it really really helps....bought a MPC but was a software producer, recently gave up on MPC, but you're bringing me back....thank you so much!
Just practice practice practice just this one video and you'll be making songs of no time.
You got this bro just practice and if you need anything let me know
great friend video, how do you make the connection between the keyboard and mpc X?
I use a midi keyboard Akai vip and then I’ll tell the x what I want to play .
I’m basically control all my soundswith the usb keyboard I’ll tell the MPC which synthesizer I wanna have sex but I’ll use my USB keyboard to play it
@@PoliPopo thanxxx bro
The cool thing about doing it this way is you don't have to use your computer. You can do it all in Standalone mode with the MPC
Gotta say, you have a great attitude
Awesome! Thank you!
Very nice. Instead of exploding drums you can use pad mute on that track
That’s a very good approach to 🎶🎶🎶
@@PoliPopo Sorry, wrong info i gave, doesn’t work, song mode when exporting keeps pad mute from 1st seq... grrrrrr... gotta do as you said... thx
I'm not going to lie when you export your stems to pro tools you will have more options but I do everything in standalone mode with just my MPC 💯
What's really cool is that if you're using the NPC software you go to file preferences and scan your whole c drive you'll be able to use pro tools in your NPC software as well
@@PoliPopo Thanks for your help I appreciate it.
@@PoliPopo I’m new to all of this Poli. By any chance do you give lessons?
