    your channel is amazing, as a beginner neonatologist I would really appreciate if you make a video about resuscitation of the newborn in the delivery room, thank you for your effort making these videos

      Hello Dr. Hasanova- thank you for your lovely compliment- but realize you are NOT a 'beginner neonatologist'- you have already spent years subspecializing and studying the field!!! There's always more to be learnt- but you have already done a lot of the hard hitting! We are trying to get clearance from the NRP before we do a video on resuscitation- but hopefully that will be done soon! Thank you!!!

    You’re such a fountain of knowledge Tala. I struggled doing my Enhanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner course following covid. I struggled a lot with brain fog. I found you and l followed you religiously and passed so well, thank you, onto to the next stage now. You explain things so clearly and in the simplest of terms.

      Hi Themby- we are so sorry about your Covid diagnosis and the ensuing brain fog- how awful that must have been. It's been a really tough time for everyone in the unit generally- all the rules, and disappointed family members and just general disbelief in medicine, so I can't imagine how further demoralizing that was for you too :(
      We're SO happy that we in any way helped you passed and move on to the next stage (obviously that was all you- but I think at the end of the day, that's what we're really hoping for here- motivating people rather than pure education). So a million congratulations and thank you SO much for the compliments! Good luck XX

    Congratulations on 10k likes!! I have been sharing your channel with all of my co-workers both nurses and pediatricians! I have been a nurse in a Level II for 32 years and I just took my RNC-NIC on Saturday for the second time. My first attempt at the exam was many years ago, do to my extreme test anxiety and not passing I had convinced myself couldn’t pass it so I ever retest. Getting my certification is something I have always wanted to achieve in my career so I decided this year to give it a try again. I stumbled across your channel by chance, after watching one video I knew I needed to watch more. The way you teach is phenomenal! I watched every one of your videos! After I finished my exam I told my husband if I pass it’s because of these videos! I received my results today and I PASSED! Thank you so much for you love and passion for teaching and neonatology… it’s shows!!!

      Congratulations Denise!!! Wish we could take any part of the praise- BUT realize you've being doing this for THIRTY-TWO years- and you still love it, and you're still studying and pushing yourself!!! That was all you! Well done- hopefully you're doing something really nice for yourself!!
      Thank you so much for your lovely comment (it made me so happy I- (Tala)- read it out loud to my kids this morning!!!) Thanks again so much for your support- hope you have many many happy years more in the NICU :)

    Dear Tala and the whole team, thank you so very much, and congrats. You deserve all good things happening to you.
    I am one of your biggest fan. you pretty much nudge me to choose neontalolgy as subspecility, just saying.
    I have a question if still possible :
    can you talk about exchange transfusion?
    also; can you summarize the most important equations that we use in every day basis in NICU?

    • @TalaTalksNICU
      @TalaTalksNICU  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello!!! Thanks so much to you and your lovely comments. We're SO happy you chose neonatology! That's like our ultimate compliment- and it really is the best field! ha!
      We did a video on exchange transfusions (you can search for it under the home page)- if there's more you'd like us to discuss then let us know!
      And YES! A video just on equations is the best idea ever!! Would you mind letting us know which ones you think we should include? Again- thanks so much for being here and for subscribing :)
