I live in Columbia Heights Absolutely no one calls it CoHi lol. This is not NYC,.stop trying to make Soho happen. If anything we just call hit Heights, Hilltop or just Nordeast.
Yeah, I grew up near here. Nobody calls it "CoHi." That's just a painful way to be "cool" like NOLO, SOHO or whatever contraction you use to make yourself seem current and hip.
I lived in a place like this in LA. It sucked. I had roomates that didn't clean up after themselves, laid around all day smelling like buttcheeks and dirty dishes. Parties with strange people sleeping over. My food I had in the kitchen constantly eaten and of course nobody didn't do anything. An affordable studio/1br is best imo.
Could parking be al a carte? Can the price per bedroom come down further? Can couples get two parking spaces for cars and live in one room while saving for a condo?
These are all great questions that unfortunately I don't have the answer too. If you follow the link in the video description, you can send questions to the building leasing team!
Did you know we call Columbia Heights "CoHi"? We are a great community and welcome new friends and neighbors!
We did NOT know this! Love that, had such a great time exploring the area while filming this.

I would’ve loved something like this in grad school. I love seeing the partnership with the city to bring more housing to the area.
Agreed! Turning a lot with an old office building into 300 housing units is a big win. Need to see more of it across the country.
Ditto. Having something like this in my city would have gotten me out of my Mom's house so much quicker
Hopefully they match people around the same age
This would be great for senior citizens.

Dude, he’s not a leasing agent he’s just showing the apartment he’s not management😹😹😹😹
This is a great concept. But it's still a roommate living situation. Would like it if the renter could vet their potential roommate.
Love seeing mini splits
🙌🏼
Great tour
Appreciate it!
Single family banned just got overturned
If your talking about Minnesota lol
