Cool video. Great idea👍🏻👍🏻. A little tip for the flappers. Get yourself a bic pen. Take off the bottom cap. Then lay down the flappers flat on a hard table and punch three holes in the flappers(in the center of the flappers) with the bottom of the bic pen. Then cut the flappers down the center with the scissors. This will give the flappers a a way better realistic look than just cutting the flappers down the center without the holes. You will see what I’m talking about😊👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks!
Very nice video!
Thanks
Awesome! Thanks! Love the man cave!
Thanks!
I use the baby brush hog on a 1/8th ounce shaky head, does pretty much the same but it's weedless. Great bait
Great tip. Thanks!
You can also get. clear heat shrink tubing and it works too.
Cool idea I will give it a shot never thought of that way
Thanks! Good luck. I am sure you will get bites with it!
Very good!
Thanks
Stunning video. This caused me to subscribe from very hot South Africa. Tight lines!
Thanks!
Excellent video and simple information... I will try this asap...
Thanks. Good luck!
Awesome idea. What are you throwing it on. I’m gonna try that for sure
I use a 7ft medium power spinning rod with a fast action, a 2000 series spinning reel, 10lb Reaction Tackle X8 braid(high vis yellow) with a 10lb floroucarbon leader (double uni knot)
@@BrianGaberFishing Thank You. Have you tried the new Brush Craw
@@BrianGaberFishing Yes I have great bait. I dip the claws in spike it
this method is such a great idea can't wait to try it!
Thanks! Yes. I am guessing you'll like it. They eat it.
Got a bunch of baby brushhogs in my tackle box
That is why I bought perfection lures David Dudley perfect stand up jig heads
Thanks. I'll take a look
Pretty good tip. This would be a great Co-angler bait.
Thanks! It is sure is a great co-angler bait. My son throws it all the time and boats fish behind me.
close...but not quite.
I like your banding pliers, what brand are those and great tip? I plan to fish neko rig more, so i will try it with the brush hog
I can't find my exact brand, but this one from arsenal is close arsenalfishing.com/product/wacky-neko-tube-plier/
Man you really have cool tips. I love neko rigs. But a brushhog that is cool. Got any ideas when crayfish molt? And do they hybernate in cold water ?
Thanks for checking out the videos. The crawfish metabolism will slow down below 45 degree water temps. They will burrow in the mud and become inactive. They don't hybernate. They molt as they grow and can be more often for younger ones (7-10 days) and less often for older ones (30-40 days).
Nice rig. What weight nail weight do you use?
Thanks. Reaction Tackle tungsten nail weights. www.reactiontackle.com/products/new-style-nail-weights-insert-sinkers-in-various-sizes
I been trying to google tips about crayfish on and off for years and i come up short
Where do you get those screw lock weights?
I got them from Tackle Warehouse - Mustad TitanX www.tacklewarehouse.com/Mustad_Tungsten_TitanX_Neko_Screw_Weights/descpage-NKX.html
So neko rig it
There saved you 6 minutes
I do think the spike it on the claw-like appendages makes a difference
@@BrianGaberFishing oooohhh. Great "secret"
@@FranklinHicks-qs4gs sounds like you're on it. Good luck
