NEW Baits for 2024! th-cam.com/video/vKFrOggMbmI/w-d-xo.html
FYI - Matt Stefan put out a video 3 days ago detailing how to rig this Ozark Rig. He suggested not going through the head of the bait but about 1/4" below. Here's the link to his video. th-cam.com/video/meDQZX_MCmI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=gpcjoMFHYZOQdpeE If the link gets removed, you can look it up on his channel. The title is "Very Few Anglers Know This Soft Plastic Rigging Tip! It Saves Money And Locks Baits In Place Longer!".
thats badass
Gotta try that Ozark rig and the others from Core tackle I've heard about, look like good designs!
Great review as always! Like the intro also 😎
I'm glad you liked the new intro and the video. I'll have videos on the Core Tackle hover rig and tush rig coming out soon, so stay tuned! Thanks for watching!
I gotta give these a try….👍🏻🍺
Hey blue line thanks for the video I haven't tried the Ozark rig yet neither I'll have to pick some up and give em a shot. I know the flat sided baits glide better.
I'm been using them a while now and really like them. The beaver style baits have worked well for me so far. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for this information! I enjoyed watching and learning! Keep up te good work. I didn't know much about the Ozark rig! Core makes some nice tackle.
Thanks so much for watching, I really appreciate it!
Good info
Johnny and Matt got a good thing going.
You rigged it wrong, it will bust that head on the plastic just throwing it multiple times without a fish even biting it, unless its a zman bait. That shits hard to bust. Go top down about 1/4" off the head and pull it through to a Texas rig. I wish the hook had a little more gap. I have personally lost a few fish with thos rig. Might just be me or might be the rig, who knows, but my hook up radio has been pretty good over the years with a ewg hook, not to dis the ozark, I really like the idea and how it sinks, just wish it was a little bigger gap.
Have you tried this on a senko? I would love a weighted rig that would allow the senko to glide straight down, but I can't imagine how that weight would pass through the senko without blowing it apart.
I've not tried it on a Senko. I think any soft, hand pour type bait would be tough to keep from tearing up. Let me know if you give it a try and the results. Thanks for watching!
Got a couple of these would like more but shipping cost ridiculous
I was just confused on how to add a soft plastic on 😂😂
Early review. Having trouble keeping the plastic attached to the jig head. I’m sure it’s operator error.
I've been fishing them for a couple of weeks now and catching some fish on them and haven't had any problems. You might have to play with the rigging on them and find what works best for you. Good luck, and thanks for watching!
Matt Steffen, the owner of core tackle has a video on how he rigs it from the side , it makes a big difference . Semper Fi
I find even rigging it like Matt Stefan’s video suggests that to keep the lure in place I have to put a small drop of superglue to keep the head of the lure in place. Other than that it works well.
Not much bite gap tho with the hook not being EWG.
Its more than ewg...look again again...its straight shank hook.
@@Garminrules EWG stands for extra wide gap. It has a bigger gap than a straight shank hook.
@@Twangtown7 lol..
Ok kid
@@Garminrules Damn, I cut you deep. Sorry I had to school you on the subject.
@@Twangtown7 lol...newbie huh? th-cam.com/video/5CAwfYezZCk/w-d-xo.htmlsi=qvXK7KRhlj0dnFik
Hook sucks. Not enough gap. U will lose fish dew to bad hook design. Sorry guys but it needs some work.Good theory needs work. I have used this alot and hook ratio is about 50 percent.
This is no more than rigging various soft plastics on a modified swim bait book. Have been doing this for decades.
