- Our Disneyland Paris vlog is finally here! See what Disneyland was like for our family with special needs children was like in summer 2022.

We went to Disneyland Paris in July 2022, during the 30th Anniversary celebration and a week after the new Avengers Campus opened (the theming was just incredible!). It was busy to say the least, the parks were at full capacity and it was so warm.
I filmed our whole travel day, we flew from Gatwick Airport with Easyjet. We used Special Assistance for our children to make the process much easier.
We used the Magical Shuttle for transfers to our hotel, we stayed at a Disney partner hotel - The B&B Hotel just a five minute free shuttle ride from the Disneyland parks.
We were there for two nights, one full day and two half days, so our goal was to cram as much in as possible.
Our first stop was City Hall to collect Priority Access cards for my son and daughter - I don't know how we would have survived this trip without them, for people with special needs and families with special needs children, the make the day much smoother and more enjoyable.
We rode lots of rides, including Big Thunder Mountain, Haunted Mansion and my husband and our three boys even braved the new Flight Force.
We had a lovely all you can eat buffet at Downtown Restaurant at Hotel New York - The Art of Marvel.
We tried lots of Disney snacks, cake pops, the famous hot dogs from Casey's Corner, Mickey cookies and more.
We watched the incredible Disney Illuminations, Avery even stayed awake for the entire show.
We had the most amazing time and were so happy we got to experience the magic as a whole family!

They are so good with additional needs the only downside was the wait at the city hall but once we had the access card everything else was smooth.. we walked onto almost everything and Zachary did incredible. We could tell he was getting overwhelmed but he was still so excited xx

Don’t think it posted my comment so I hope this isn’t a duplicate, but so so happy you got to go and had a wonderful time! This kids were so excited and cute. You looked adorable in your ears and your sons groot ears were too cute! The food looked amazing as well. Memories made for sure! I remember when we went to Florida Disney world. The food prices were ridiculous. 4 plain hotdogs and 4 bottles of water were $45. That was 7 years ago and I can’t imagine how it is now!! But a fun trip for sure. 2 days definitely not enough for that long of a trip
I think we paid around 50 euros for just the hotdogs no drinks 😂😂 it’s so expensive but I feel like you definitely get caught up in the magic and don’t really stop to think until after - I paid how much for a hot dog?! 😂😂 I would love to take the kids to the one in Orlando it’s one on the bucket list for sure ❤️

Thank you ❤️ it was a lot for them to take in I was really proud of how well they did. I will be uploading a video next week about how the extra steps that we took worked out for us, for the most part everything went smoothly but I’d say if we were to do this trip again 2 nights isn’t enough, we didn’t get to see everything and my husband and I were very tired because we knew we only had a short amount of time so we crammed as much in as possible xx

What documentation did you need for the access card? My son is autistic and has epilepsy.
Does your son receive DLA? We used our DLA letters for both Avery and Zach, Avery also has a blue badge that qualifies. There is a list on the Disneyland Paris website that tells you all of the acceptable forms of proof xx
