If you ask me, Cat “cheated” on Freddie by disrespecting him with how she behaved with Sam and Ollie. If the roles were reversed, we’d be screaming for Cat to get out- especially because we know Freddie is fine.
Cat is sabotaging a good thing long before finding out Freddie has cheated. She has deep insecurities, low self worth, and poor discernment long before meeting Freddie in the pods. She’s for the streets.
I was talking to the tv...saying...oohh she sabotaging (a good thing)! And it's a shame. Freddies concerns about her are valid.

Cath is not the right woman for him. She has ZERO empathy for anyone because she is the centre of her own victimhood, and an only child. And I’m not even sure she has a job. 😅 she wants to spend all his money and belittle him for life, she would love that. Freddie…don’t do it!

Watching from South Africa, and I must say this is the best season I have seen since probably Season 2 of the US one. The casting was good, and you can see the stakes are high in their lives and they are taking this serious (the cast). I have also enjoyed the Emotional Intelligence from most of them, and watching them wrestling with matters of the heart versus whats true, versus what is right for them, which is what we all go through when looking for a life partner. Kudos to the UK team!

Bliss and her mother were a wonderful, supportive, safe mother-daughter relationship. Jasmine needs to check her mother into an inpatient facility for evaluation. She is certainly a harm to others 🥴

It was definitely performative of Sam to do that. Nicole said she tried to seek some physical affection from Sam but she didn't seem to mean sex per se. I presume that's when she realized that Sam wasn't physically attracted to her and called it off. I don't think Nicole is completely innocent in this whole thing but Sam was definitely trying to make it out to be more than it was. I don't believe anything that comes out of his mouth.

I’m wondering what they actually connected on in the pods bc it must have just been a good feeling. We didn’t see a lot of conversations where they were connecting on important issues I thought. Maybe I’m remembering wrong but seemed it was shallow conversation likely.

Free Freddie! He deserves better. I understand Cat may have a lot of issues from growing up adopted but she is doing passive aggressive or plain aggressive things to express her dislike about their relationship. Seems like Freddie can’t do right.

I don’t find this version boring at all. I also loved Japan though lol. I loved your take on Benaniah. He’s trying to be something he’s not. He’s a wandering nomad and those types aren’t usually married and if they are, they’re also married to wandering nomads not people with 9 to 5 corporate jobs. If he says yes at the altar he’ll be making a mistake because he forced himself to propose in the pods, he proposed at the café with no ring, he’s just not ready.
EXACTLY--the lifestyle are different. Im wondering how things will be after the weddings. The weddings are one thing...but whats life like outside of the show ?
I think Benaiah wanted to punch Sam in the face, but didn’t want to lose his cool in front of Nicole and scare her. He was seething when he was around Sam, I definitely didn’t get people pleaser from him. Nicole on the other hand has a terrible picker and ignored everyone including some of the girls waving the red flags about Sam. Like there was a whole marching band going by playing “You in Danger Girl!” Twirling the red flags 🚩and doing cartwheels, her own body subconsciously shaking her head no when he proposed and her mouth still saying yes - she absolutely gave too much grace but at least she wanted to truly move on with no reminders.

Thanku for your intelligent review. I have watched the US seasons but did not finish the last one it was so bad. The casting is so bad for US show ppl obviously just interested in fame. I am in UK so was looking forward to this. I have been pleasantly surprised good choices genuine ppl apart from one.
I just wanted to say am glad you spoke of Jasmine's mum what a nightmare lady no boundaries trying to control her daughter, my kids are similar ages to ppl on show I would never tell them to tell me everything in their relationships.
Her mum is very unhappy and unfulfilled wants to live life through her daughter.
Such judgement of ppl, alot of ppl do not have degrees me included it doesnt mean you have no intelligence. I hope Jasmine sets firmer boundaries with her mum, awful woman 😂

Yeah the US version 😪 is exhausting. I feel so exhausted by the end of the season bc there’s so much drama and info EVERYWHERE.
I hope Jasmine can set boundaries. I’m sure her mother has gotten in the way do her past relationships. She seems so u happy that she’s sabotage her daughters’ happiness. She has a lot of issues.
You weren’t wrong about Ollie. He doesn’t like-like Demi, but he thinks she’s great… for someone else. If they marry - it likely will not last. Not a match.
Nicole should have been honest about her coming onto Sam. Now, she wants to forget it and it’s still rattling around in Benaiah’s head. This revelation also makes Nicole seem like a hypocrite:
Nicole: I knew as soon as I left the pods that something wasn’t right.
Also Nicle: But I still offered to bed down with Sam.
Like, what? Not a match.
Catherine seems insecure across many levels and kind of self-absorbed. Freddy seems to want someone kinder, gentler. So, not a match.
Jasmine might marry Bobby, but … good luck!
Steven and Sabrina … and baby makes…? If not, this won’t last long. The man wants a child, his child. It would be unfair for her to take that from him and she clearly does not or doesn’t think she can have kids. So, not a match.
Tom and Maria are also too different. Not a match.
Listen, I hope they all end up happily married - but, you know … reality.

Jasmine's mom is the epitome of a toxic narcissist. I would NEVER marry into that type of toxicity. 😷 Besides, Bobby is too much of a docile pretty boy for Jasmine anyway. She likes them heavily tatted bad boys, the type that she knows her mom would never approve of.
Cat doesn't love Freddie. She thinks he's hot, which he truly is but they are not suited for each other. She's too materialistic and isn't able to truly accept him for who he is. The whole "once a cheater, always a cheater" thing is just an excuse, a weapon to use against him. So that she can later say "You see? I am very understanding... I overlooked the fact that you cheated to accept you and marry you." I am willing to bet if she was with Ollie and he told her he has cheated before, she'd just shrug and be whatever about it. Someone said that she's for the streets and I agree. The way she openly flirted with Sam proves it.
Demi shouldn't say yes at the altar. Better yet, just don't go to the altar at all. She likes him way too much and he likes her way too little. The dynamic is off kilter.
Despite what everyone thinks about Tom and Maria, I don't think they will make it. He looks down on her profession, doesn't want her to be a SAHM and in her culture, it is expected that the man be a provider in every way.
The only 2 couples that has a chance is Nicole/Benaiah and Steven/Sabrina. I completely agree that Benaiah needs to stop playing macho man role. Like my dude, it's ok to be a soft nomadic hippie if that's who you are.
I agree with Jasmine and Bobby. Do you think she chooses men to rebel against her mother? I thought the mother had a personality disorder.
Catherine needed “something” to find wrong with him. Ans cheating was the answer. It shows how woman weaponize men’s vulnerability.
I keep seeing the comments on Demi and Ollie. Maybe I just want to believe he’s really into her 🤷🏽♀️😅
And Tom looks down on her lifestyle. Culturally they are vastly different ppl. Plus he kept saying it would be hard for him to marry without his mum.

I think Benaiah wouldn’t have made a move, if Sam hadn’t activated Benaiah’s protector mode. Nicole is strangely clueless.
Sam was doing Uche’s scorched earth technique. A gentleman would not have mentioned it on camera.
Catherine is acting like an adopted child, testing Freddie to see if the love is real. People hating on her appalling behavior but I feel she really can’t help it. To me it clicked, when we saw her parents. She needs new friends to tell a girl read the prenup before being in her feelings. It turned my stomach when he’s trying to make sure his brother is taken care of in the event of his parents passing away.
That mom: you have to tell me everything 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Two failed marriages? Was she a mailorder bride? She sadly has nothing to tell her daughter on marriage, but it was interesting to see how Jasmine’s culture of honor your parents, work itself out through her mental health training.

Catherine should look into some therapy. There are some identify issues there. The friends only add to it.

@@Innerchild.Whisperer I was watching another YT therapist DrCherietypes talk about the Benaiah-Nicole-Sam triangle. I’m kinda worried that Benaiah’s need to play the role of white knight and her intense desire to pretend her role in the situation doesn’t exist (and thereby invalidate his efforts) is going to cause her problems later. He was lowkey side eyeing her.
Like Sam said to her face on camera “you wanted me and I turned you down”, and she literally blinks it away, and fixes her mouth to say he’s a great guy, just misunderstood so let’s ignore it. I’m screaming at my tv “sis he’s trying to wreck your reputation and you’re letting him!” Why can she not admit that she was duped by Sam and shift her thinking?

I think Ollie is just not into Demi. I'm sure his ADHD plays a role in how he acts in public. He's also not into her, and saying he is. I dont like him

Freddie said he cheated once 7 years ago and is very remorseful of it. I don’t think the once a cheater always a cheater is true. Yes some people are habitual cheaters and will cheat no matter what is going on in their relationship.
For Freddie, it seems like he was in his early-mid 20’s, probably in a relationship he wasn’t happy in but felt he couldn’t leave, and made a bad choice. He didn’t articulate that very well but of course we didn’t see the whole convo and Cat was very judgmental and a bit hostile in her response.
I feel bad for Catherine being cheated on in every relationship, that sounds horrible. But from what we’ve already seen she can be very petty, snappy, and unsatisfied when someone is doing everything to please her. It makes sense Freddie would pull away and not be as affectionate once she’s giving him attitude all the time.

I actually have quite enjoyed this season the American one has become too much clout chaser and it’s not entertaining it’s so much drama it’s annoying I like maybe one max 2 couples being a bit drama if it’s more than that it gets boring cause it just feel fake the Ollie and Demi drama was good cause it felt real then progressed to a wow they’re real and going through real life struggles the Freddie and Cat thing feels real but it also gives me the drama I want even tom and Maria have a little bit of drama but not so much that it feels gross that’s what I like to see personally I like it to feel like they’re legit not just clout chasing and doing too much
@@tarynriver yeah the couples here has actually “drama” that you’d have when organically going through this experience if wasn’t manufactured by producers.
I thought things with Demi and Ollie got. Better but so many ppl are still doubtful.

I dont know what training you have but ADHD doesnt make someone not want a physical relationship..quite the opposite ..they are IMPULSIVE and get into the physical part way too soon.
Ollie is veru calculating ..maybe hw has some other learning disability but he is calculating his steps way too good for ADHD
As for cheaters..sadly i agree with cat. More likely Freddy has ADHD than ollie..impulsive sleeping around
