- Today I am excited to show you a small HoloLens 2 open box video I did since I got a new device from Microsoft.
I also like to reflect on the big buzz about MetaVerse, if we think about it devices such as HoloLens 1 have been around since "March 30, 2016" and thereafter nearly 3 years "November 7, 2019" HoloLens 2 was released.
MetaVerse has been here for a while, it just depends on what you imagine it to be, what I believe it to be is simply how we use phones today, we have a digital persona (for example in twitter or TH-cam) people know us because of what we produce or write, at the same time with the MetaVerse people will or know us based on the interactions or experiences we have with X type of applications running in VR, AR, MR, etc.
📌 Consumer XR is getting bigger with devices such as Oculus Quest 2 and it will get more widely accepted as Apple and larger enterprises bring a lighter and more convenient device.

📌 What do you think about HoloLens 2 ? If you have it I would love to hear your thoughts? if you don't what type of things prevent you from getting one other than price? What if this allows you to learn XR skills that will ensure you get the highest paying and most on demand job in tech tomorrow?
I think it is popular and better accessible AR headset. Though the FOV is still small.
Also, are you planning to develop project for multiplayer in unity using Hololens 2? Waiting for it.
That’s a great suggestion and yes I am planning on covering multiplayer features with HoloLens2 as well :)
I love them. I broke a pair at the amusement park. Be careful getting on rides with them…Microsoft should include an optional chin strap to add an extra layer of security. Also it’s wise to add Microsoft complete because it covers accidental damages.
other than price, its the tax / conversion rate from Sri Lanka
Most futuristic and amazing device I’ve been able to test, being able to use your hands, gaze, voice and place real 3D holograms in your surroundings is really cool

Unfortunately Microsoft has abandoned Hololens as reported by business insider. They will work on creating content for Metaverse going forward.
That’s honestly not a fact ;) there are people who are working in HoloLens that I know and are heavily invested in future projects. Do not believe everything you read online ;)

This one is a bit on the high side because of the enterprise aspect, 3K-3.5K > depending on the version.
@@dilmerv Am in India.. I like Microsoft HOLOLENS2 but Here its was not launched yet . Although I don't have money to buy. I just like new techs It was amazing.
