Thank you guys for watching. If you guys want a signed print for your wall I print all of them myself from my large format Canon printer larrychenprints.com/
Gran Turismo/Polyphony Digital have been showing up at Pikes Peak for years, maybe we'll finally get Pikes peak added as a track to run. I would love a downhill race on that mountain, holy smokes.
@@Mc-Derpulous I could see it coming out of no where. I’m sure other GT7 players wrote to Sony about Pikes Peak. It’s only a matter of time when it will come out.
Really enjoyed the series, as a retired VW/Audi/Porsche tech enjoyed the mechanical aspect and have done track days and crewed on a formula Ford so liked the prep and race part of the series. Keep more content like these coming. Pikes Peak is on my bucket list to spectate.
Awsome to have a shop down the street from us and who are humble and are a open shop.. Love Porsche but was never a owner. This makes me want to grab top model and drop it off....great work!!
"The #1 competitor is mother nature and the mountain." You simply can't overstate how humble & true this statement is. This is the right approach to Pikes Peak... 😎🤟👍 And thanks again, Larry, for saving this masterpiece of a documentary and showing it to the world. 😎
Larry, Thank you - a special project for sure..... I always knew Reece Millen had a big Brass set - watching him go up on Race Day, all I could think of was "Are you frikkin kidding me right now"..... At the tender age of 66 yrs young I would have turned the car around, back to the pits with a lot of Adult work words as regards to the weather.... What a drive!
Yes, Larry, I liked the series/collaboration. I had tears in my eyes watching e motion's film in part 2. Just an epic historic landmark build for the ages which represents the entire culture in one car. If I had to choose one car from this channel to have this would be it.
that was choice video Sir. So raw, this was perfect to showcase the passion and captured how intimately the man machine duo is. Do it again - please. Happy Holidays
The road for the spectators up to devils playground was slick in spots but the amount of traffic probably made the race more bearable … The Alfa Romeo Stelvio that followed me up nearly lost it several times … you could see road conditions where gnarly just above the playground where racers where spinning out!!! Memorable for sure!
You can control everything except the weather but the commitment the effort the striving to make a perfect pike peeks car was achieved keep working hard! There's always next year
Sounds so sick inside with headphones on, freekin awesome!!!!! Adam LZ'S pro drift car has str8 cut gears with a winters quick change rear end and sounds close 2 it but then u got twin turbos inside the car with u.... So sick!!!!!
Larry, your photography is legendary, but your acting...not even close. We can easily tell the legit reaction from the hype, so please, keep it real. 🤘✌️
That turbo GT3 R build is insane!!! I am presuming that during shifting, the ignition is cut but not the fuel hence the explosions and flame thrower out back.
#LarryChen , another great work of excellence in #film. I like seeing all you BEST work, as it spells out great Motorworks achievements by their authors or drivers. Nice work sir. #e46DinanTouring->
After that little shrug at 8:30, I was imagining "This fucking sucks.." and a couple seconds later "Well, that sucked" lol. Still an absolutely incredible drive! Also, that livery is absolutely gorgeous.
Next year...likely the competition (if they know what's it all about), wll is planning to bring something that is even faster.... as well as others deciding..."this will be our hill when we show off our new something we been working on " and the bar is set even higher
Lol. Like the race engineers didn’t think of a Lithium Ion battery as an easy way to save weight. They look to cut every single millimeter of wire, hoses, etc to save weight, and their are gonna over look the battery? 😉
Wasn’t over looked. The tuner preferred not playing around with low voltage. We have had too many issues with sophisticated electronics and aftermarket lithium batteries
10:45 Anyone else getting a hum/buzz from this point on? Mic feedback or something maybe? Love to watch the rest of the video but I skipped ahead a ways and it's still there..
Little disappointed in the commentary about the 992 street car that beat this car. Just ignore the fact the *driver was David Donner. Multiple time PP overall winner and class winner. He lives at the base of the mountain! Larry? Every Porsche on the planet needs weight on the RF wheel. There is a reason why Porsche moved the battery to that location. The *factory GT3R battery is a LiPo. It’s super lightweight but in a full size case.
Could the Tacoma go faster I think she can it was looking kind of really nice at the time she did. Jump in that car buddy and make your dad proud. It’s all tar now. Do love the Porsche though what a nice car.
Sad to know that the battle between Ken Block and the pink Gucci ghost Livery Porsche vs. this Porsche will never happen. At least not with Block driving it…
Thank you guys for watching. If you guys want a signed print for your wall I print all of them myself from my large format Canon printer larrychenprints.com/
Excellent showcase!
With those conditions, you can't afford to blink your eye. Superb driving skills. Kudos to the team.

I agree, I hope Sony releases more tracks including the Pikes Peak Colorado race track. It was in GT 5 but it had to be unlocked.
I hope for pikes peak in gt7 as well. I have zero faith
@@Mc-Derpulous I could see it coming out of no where. I’m sure other GT7 players wrote to Sony about Pikes Peak. It’s only a matter of time when it will come out.
Isle of Mann as well. I imagine PS4 is holding this back.
you jinxed us
best series on TH-cam so far Larry and the in-depth about the hole build
Wow Larry!!! What a Vid one of the best Vid ever. A piece of art of vehicle. hands down
Really enjoyed the series, as a retired VW/Audi/Porsche tech enjoyed the mechanical aspect and have done track days and crewed on a formula Ford so liked the prep and race part of the series. Keep more content like these coming. Pikes Peak is on my bucket list to spectate.
Always love these dangerous pikes peak documentaries
I could watch these all day 🔥👍
This series was amazing. More like this please

Best series on the internet. What a stand-up team effort. Love it.💎
If you wanna knock on the 8 minutes door, Porsche is the tool to do it.
If you wanna knock at the 8 min mark engineering is the tool you need
Always love the Pikes Peak content! This series was so cool...couldn't wait until each one was posted.

@@emotion_engineering You're very welcome. Congrats on the spectacular performance at Pikes Peak
I followed Rhys’s team from the pits off the mountain… they where very motivated to get out of there … motivated for next year for sure!
Great series! more of this please!
more stuff like this please i absolutely love this kind of video really shows the passion behind everything fantastic series
that was choice video Sir. So raw, this was perfect to showcase the passion and captured how intimately the man machine duo is. Do it again - please. Happy Holidays
This was yet again awesome !! Thanks E-motion for the time...
This content was awesome! Love all the hillclimb and Pikes Peak stuff, and the history of the car and the build was great, too!
I'm glad you brought up the 22' Turbo S 🙏. That will help a lot of people who would just go look at the results
Amazing, so impressive to run it in the rain the way he did. Beautiful shots Larry!
Great series!!!!!
Great coverage of this epic running of Pikes Peak. Amazing.
I’m sorry the weather didn’t allow you guys to drive at your and the cars full potential. Hats off to you all.
This was a fantastic series bud, you are doing a great job. Respect.
I appreciate the aspect ratio!

Very nice ! Well done 👍
Awesome series and love all the technical details … thanks Larry for the awesome content
Seriously Joe/Emotion-Engineering guys build some of the coolest Porsches, highly suggest checking out their Instagram.
Loved this, great story and thanks so much for sharing and putting this all together.
So cool, thanks Larry and Rhys.
Do more of these. Love getting the full story
This was great Larry, absolutely loved this coverage!
You can control everything except the weather but the commitment the effort the striving to make a perfect pike peeks car was achieved keep working hard! There's always next year
Rhys and all the racers this year were so crazy for racing up that mountain. I couldn’t even do that with no fog… 😂🤯
Love it!!! Great coverage bro!! but brahhh that sexy asf racecar!! The sound this beast makes gave me chills!!
Great content always .
Just amazing!
Love this series!!!
Jeff Zwar's turbo 911 GT3 Cup is crazy fast. Perhaps you guys could build him a turbo GT3 R 🔥🔥🔥
This was originally his idea and he got to drive during the Aspen test
The aero on this car is insane. Looks like the record was gonna be had, dang weather!!!
Sounds so sick inside with headphones on, freekin awesome!!!!! Adam LZ'S pro drift car has str8 cut gears with a winters quick change rear end and sounds close 2 it but then u got twin turbos inside the car with u.... So sick!!!!!
Sounds like a jet engine spooling......lol

Sick!! Content!! More behind the scenes of builds plz 🙏 great job!
Great video Larry!!!!
Larry this was really cool story...keep it up
That first race day looked terrifying
Larry's face at 37:35 is gold... Good thing he wore the brown pants. 😅
Love these insights
Beast of a driver tho
That turbo GT3 R build is insane!!! I am presuming that during shifting, the ignition is cut but not the fuel hence the explosions and flame thrower out back.
This is such an awesome series of videos. I’ve been excited to watch each of these every day.
Ah heck ya!
#LarryChen , another great work of excellence in #film. I like seeing all you BEST work, as it spells out great Motorworks achievements by their authors or drivers. Nice work sir. #e46DinanTouring->
What a machine! What a machine!
And a champion team!
Great work!
Good stuff Larry! Thanks!
After that little shrug at 8:30, I was imagining "This fucking sucks.." and a couple seconds later "Well, that sucked" lol. Still an absolutely incredible drive!
Also, that livery is absolutely gorgeous.
Amazing 😁♥️
purrfect more of this please
Great episode! Thanks!
Love it!
Thank you
Might be the most stressful onboard
Larry chen prints when is the Porsche going up ???
Next year...likely the competition (if they know what's it all about), wll is planning to bring something that is even faster.... as well as others deciding..."this will be our hill when we show off our new something we been working on " and the bar is set even higher
More Please!!!!
Does he have enough downforce that wing is humongous 😂😂😂
You need every single millimeter of that wing up there
FOG bro. Those dude are nuts.

led lights all the way up like an airport runway!!!!
The Porsche bug has bitten Rhys
What brand name is the 3 circles with the under line on it. It’s on his shirt.
Now just help Rhys say Porsch-uh.
Like Nik-e shoes 👟
Mullen is boss!
Nice
I tried to continue the rest of the video but that high pitch buzzing is distracting, great video larry love watching.
that good
I once told Jeff Zwart that he was actually Rhys MIllen, he was not thrilled...
didnt even know you made a series.
37:10 LarryChen.exe has stopped responding
I wish pikes peak was in GT7 as I will never have a chance to drive there in real life
Im not seeing anything about Martini in his race history..Why the suit?
10:45 Anyone else getting a hum/buzz from this point on? Mic feedback or something maybe? Love to watch the rest of the video but I skipped ahead a ways and it's still there..
The best collaboration in the world would be Joey Seely and Chris Runge
*Pikes peak is the only reason "Airplane Wings" on cars exist. Correct me if I'm wrong...*
Je crois bien que l'aileron le plus fou est bien né aux Etats Unis, mais sur une Chaparral sur un circuit et de là et né l'aileron pour PP 🙏

Where is pikes peak

👍🏽👍🏽
Sad to know that the battle between Ken Block and the pink Gucci ghost Livery Porsche vs. this Porsche will never happen. At least not with Block driving it…
Please let rice know Porsche is a family name to be pronounced correctly
