But you also need to remember why Maple Shade is psychotic, she wasn’t like that before what happened with Apple dusk, that whole trail of events broke her psyche, she was a kind queen who only wanted to have kids and be with the time she loved, however Apple desk rejected her, right after their kids died making it seem like all the effort she went to to raise their kids in secret and allow Apple desk to see them going through all of those sacrifices probably felt like nothing for her, Maple Shade is crazy yes but you need to understand why she was crazy, she had so much pain go through her life realizing that freckle wish, someone who would’ve been seen as a close friend to her watched her kids drowned without doing anything, if you think about it Maple Shade has a lot of things similar to what went down with blue star in Oakhart, both being forced to be apart because of clan loyalty is, one at least one of their kids died in each story there, and both queens did have a psychotic break. The thing is blue stars just was as bad as maple seeds, and in my opinion that’s because Maple Shade went through so much more paint so yes to me maple shade is some poor abused baby, because every cat around her just used her as a punch in bag Apple desk used her and when he didn’t want her any more he threw her a side in the worst possible way raven wing terrible to her as well, I can totally understand where Maple Shade is coming from there were so many terrible things that went down in her life, but at the same time I know that what she did was not justified but that’s what I love about her she turned into the most amazing villain, even though I still think she had a kinder side as a kid an apprentice, as a warrior her life is filled with misery and pain, and that’s what eventually caused her to snapThing is there were so many other half clan relationships that didn’t end like this, Maple Shade had the worst out of all of it, even Bluestar only lost one kit but maple seed lost all of them yes some could argue that Misty footstone for growing up in river clan was losing them, but blue star still knew that they were alive and doing well and could see how they were growing up and be proud of them Maple Shade could not she heard the haunting screams of her kids and her ears, which is hallucinations which makes me think she might’ve had a mental illness I absolutely love Maple Shade though she the BEST villain how in the great battle she didn’t necessarily die the story says that she ran off after the fight with spotted leaf, so I like to think that she’s still in the dark forest lol I write her into my fanfiction’s :) We working on a fanfiction where a kid named falcon kit is born with the urge to kill, not really kill but more harm other cats, Maple Shade pretty much takes him under her wing and raises him in the dark forest, because he passes away when he’s only a kit instead of us sending star clan he descends to the dark horse, and Maple Shade pretty much takes care of him while he’s in there making sure that the other cats don’t fight him and keeping him safe from all harm

It's so sad what happened to her..... that Medicine cat got what he deserved!! (He told the clan she had a mate in riverclan and her kits where half clan, they kicked them out and her kits drowned in a river. She then followed the med cat and ripped open his throught, and killed another cat by sending a snake after her, killed her old mate, and another cat, then someone clawed open her neck and she died. She did it all for her kits! Also she kinda went too far when she dug up the med cat's body and feed it to birds)
Ravenwing did not get what he deserved! He was not going to lie to his entire Clan to defend the lies of an untrustworthy liar. Plus, his mentor had died very recently and he was incredibly young. The one cat whom he could rely on to make important decisions was, of course, Oakstar. Unfortunately, Oakstar happened to be an awful leader who decided to banish innocent kits because of their bloodline. Ravenwing had know way of knowing that his leader would think up such a cruel punishment. He had no control over Oakstar's poor choices and it's unfair he payed the price for what he didn't do.
Carlotta Coppola I agree oakstar shouldn't have banished the kits.... though it still would have made her upset because she wouldn't have been able to see them but a lot would be avoided. Also I don't see the point in having that in the code anymore if so many cats breaks that rule
I don't think she was banished because of forbidden love (but that was part of it), I think it was mainly who she mated with. Appledusk was very hated within ThunderClan, as he had apparently 'murdered' the Clan leader's son in battle.

It's so sad what happened to her..... that Medicine cat got what he deserved!! (He told the clan she had a mate in riverclan and her kits where half clan, they kicked them out and her kits drowned in a river. She then followed the med cat and ripped open his throught, and killed another cat by sending a snake after her, killed her old mate, and another cat, then someone clawed open her neck and she died. She did it all for her kits! Also she kinda went too far when she dug up the med cat's body and feed it to birds)
Ravenwing did not get what he deserved! He was not going to lie to his entire Clan to defend the lies of an untrustworthy liar. Plus, his mentor had died very recently and he was incredibly young. The one cat whom he could rely on to make important decisions was, of course, Oakstar. Unfortunately, Oakstar happened to be an awful leader who decided to banish innocent kits because of their bloodline. Ravenwing had know way of knowing that his leader would think up such a cruel punishment. He had no control over Oakstar's poor choices and it's unfair he payed the price for what he didn't do.
Carlotta Coppola I agree oakstar shouldn't have banished the kits.... though it still would have made her upset because she wouldn't have been able to see them but a lot would be avoided. Also I don't see the point in having that in the code anymore if so many cats breaks that rule
I don't think she was banished because of forbidden love (but that was part of it), I think it was mainly who she mated with. Appledusk was very hated within ThunderClan, as he had apparently 'murdered' the Clan leader's son in battle.
