Yes finally a guy who uses his Rivian like it was designed to be. Thank you for the good review. I was going to get the R1t but two things kept me back, availability (2021) and no Sat Radio receiver. My town has spotting cell service and then no music. When I was talking to the Rivian team I was laughing on the phone as they were saying just pair your phone. Wait you are talking about a truck meant to be off road with no cell service, duh. I wanted the Frunk to keep my fire gear. Funny if the price was better the Rivian would be our Chiefs trucks, would look badass with lights. I ended up with an F150 Tremor, love it and it was 30k cheaper.

I ran a rear view mirror camera and mounted the camera on the lower part of the tent. It works out great so you can use your info screen for other things. Just an idea you might want to try.
Random question as I’m in talks with the service center. Is your carpet one or two separate pieces? I had mine replaced for water issues and I found that it’s two pieces which seems odd.
You have some of the best videos on Rivian, I was going to get a Model Y, but now I am going for the R2 or the R3! Tesla Y is just too round and too feminine for me, almost everyone has one here in SoCal, it's like dime dozen.

I could see it's benefits as an emergency vehicle. In the first 100 miles I have already taken my Tri Motor off road lol

I do like that idea. When the new camper top shows up it will have a window out the back so I can see along with being able to see my bed camera.
