We rebuilt and restore around 40 of these 641/2 to 66 mustangs coupes,fastback and convertibles, good to see your shop restoring this 66 Mustang convertible, this is going to be nice when you finish,you have a excellent good start on it,keep up the good work.

That block should weigh the same as an alloy 1 now with all that metal eaten up as rust!

yes, the large chunks are definitely concerning....i'll know more after the teardown....i'm hoping the bulk of the damage is from deterioration of some of the bolt-on components...we'll know soon! thanks for watching!

The 'money shot' is why I wanted to watch this video. An engine removal video with the before & after wasn't very helpful.
