Bro, at my shop . With the second or third motor pull I did with the transmission connected I to forgot about the fluid drainage and I made a mess!! I was so caught up with other things such as making sure the chain and hoist are properly set, the motor mounts and other things I completely overlooked the gear fluid haha we all had a good laugh; me , the boss and the other employers . Awesome video I just subbed !
glad I stumbled across this video i have a 66 mustang that i traded an 83 jeep Cherokee chief edition for it but recently when adjusting the carburetor it backfired and burnt out the entire engine bay and one tire gotta completely re build the front end but it happens.
Hey James while y'all have that motor out you should find a 429SCJ motor and talk him in to y'all shoehorning that in it ....LOL Plus if you wanna upgrade it's a great base to start with but I'm sure you probably know that But HEY it's just an idea take it or leave it...LOL

How much is it to bore out a 302 to 347? Wouldn't a more modern EFI 302 or junkyard Coyote be as cost effective?
Coyote wouldn't fit in there nicely.. 347 is a very nice sleeper motor
So,what happened to the original 289 ?
Not sure grandpa switched it out many many years ago
