I wouldn’t recommend putting pearls in top clear coats because what if you need to touch something up? And also when sanding and buffing imperfections. They do make a base coat blender so you could make your own tricoat. Right now I’m looking at painting my truck black base, blender mix with red or maybe blue pearl, clear coated. Kinda looks like a black cherry candy or a cherry black with blue pearl
Very pretty, and great idea. It tis good that Aliexpress has most all free shipping due to us having to pay currency. My TD bank charges .35 cents to every dollar I spend. I use pigments for nail art. This is a great idea!
Mike Ferguson Yes my favorite was the blue as well. I have an old XS400 that I might use the Blue on once I finish the current bike project, a 81 KZ750 that Im using the dark grey on.
I have added ocean blue 💙 pearl pigments to a diamond blue metallic to make a unique blue that just looks so smooth and vibrant adding the pearls definitely strengthens the paint just make sure they are quality pearls a cheap made product can rust out but will look good when first applied but definitely won't stand the test of time
I want to try something like this to spray onto a mirror. Do you think it would still have a mirror-reflective finish? Or would the pigment dull it too much?
Coco Wang Thanks. The seller I got these ones from no longer has them. There is quite a few others on Ebay now but unfortunately they aren't consistent with supply.
Hey Robert, I used a pint sized mixing cup with approx 100 milliliter to 1/2 teaspoon of pearl. The clear I use is a polysiloxane 78% solids. It holds the pearl pretty well.
Shawn Eliason the seller I bought from does not have anymore. Just search pearl pigment or paint pearls and there is still some available from a few different sellers.

Ok, that is a cool gold I have to admit.
Do these have metallic or transparent like can’t I can see it to close, the look great however
Thank you
how many grams of pearl did you put in the clear coat?
Can I sand down my car and remove all the old clear and spray it with new clear with pigments added?
is this mixed with automotive Clear. Does it need any heat work ?
nice. I'll try this on a bass guitar I'm building.
They turned out amazing. I wonder what effect they would have over a base of the same color. The blue is my favorite

These are just pearl pigments. is the candy pearl going to stand out or shine more than these?
Has anyone found these at that wonderful price
thank you from your good video ☺👍👍👍
Hi!I have purple candy pearl pigments. Can i use in clear coat over black base? Thanks
You can use any pearl in clear ur choice. And you can see he has a purple pearl shown it's just not candy
how if over metallic silver base??
I have not sprayed over a silver base with these. Metallic or not in the base wouldn't make a difference if you're putting this much pearl over.
@@bobbertsbikes4750 ok thanks
3 bucks each? whos the seller?

Can u gave me the info to get them
Matt Burns I have got them from a few different sellers on EBay. If you search pearl pigment paint powder there is quite a few to choose from.
