I absolutely love listening to you. I like to listen to stories at bedtime, particularly anything about the old west or history in general, however, listening to you literally keeps me up all night. If I happen to fall asleep, when I do wake up I start the podcast all over so that I don't miss anything. Keep up hard work. I love it!

Interesting and amazing true story
The last few years there has been the idea pushed that these close up and personnel gun fights were rare and I'm not arguing they happened everyday but if you study local histories ( like here in West Texas) you will find they were not all that 'rare' and yes alcohol ands saloons were involved to settle disputes and imagined wrongs
Wyatt would contribute not getting shot to the fact that when the shooting started, he was the only one that didn't move.
Ike scuffled with Wyatt when it started............ Ike said Wyatt tried to gut shoot him..... I dont doubt that.
Greetings Chris.Do you think there is enough evidence to have charged anyone with the assault on Virgil Earp or the death of his brother Morgan? Have not seen that line of pursuit from the legal community of the day. Any links or further thought on the matter would truly be appreciated.
Not likely. In those days there was no forensic or scientific evidence........... everything was based on witnesses. The cowboys always had witnesses to swear that they were not in Tombstone when certain shootings occured.
