Most of my life I drove cars with no traction control and only positrac/limited slip. It takes a few years to learn, but I grew up that way. No lift shifts, no airbags, no traction control. I've even drifted a FWD car with no use of parking brake. (Very very hard to do.) The nice thing is, on RWD cars with no traction control you can: Turn, floor it, drift until sideways, let off a bit, then floor it again when straight. (To go around 90 degree corners faster than those with traction control or better suspension.)
The year this car came out I was walking down a long road in Berkshire and one of these come bolting off the nearby roundabout and belting down the very long road. Could hear this engine screaming from over a mile away. Absolutely phenomenal sound in TVR's, the Cerbera is still one of my all time favourite cars.

Besides, who needs all of the "modern refinement" of silly things like air bags and ABS. Just don't smash it up and put a big, wide grin on your face when the go pedal is touching the floor!
Such a pretty car!! I did not see TVR as corageous a company as this car proves them to be. Lovely stuff, enticing motorcar, especially in this body colour. Great video!!
It’s actually a great looking car. Clear spoiler double handy. It gives the car it’s intended look and rear view visibility. And yeah the ribs on the bonnet should be opened up. You can always prevent stones flying through there by adding race mesh. And Ido wonder how they will look in other colors like dark blue or British Racing Green! (...with golden rims that is) 🙈
0-60 in first gear ⚙️ in 3 seconds is amazing, that's motorbike performance in a car weighing next to nothing, fantastic power to weight ratio !,, not bad for an older car, it was clearly way ahead of its time. It looks and sounds stunning too.❤
I´m owning a Tuscan MK1, those cars are completely mental, that´s what the fun is all about 💕 TVR forever. These are defining the difference between going somewhere... and DRIVING
I've been keeping an eye out for one to appear in North America. Ever since I saw that Top Gear episode I've been pretty interested in the Sagaris. The one you're driving seems like a great example! Even my preferred colour.
i used to live round the corner from 1 as a kid and still love the look of it. only thing i would do is change the see-through spoiler for a coloured 1. lovely 2-tone blue and green.
It was the axe the Immortals had, I used to get the opportunity to drive this & a lot more TVRs because they used the test track owned by the company I worked for, & I borrowed the Best car they ever made for a couple of years, the Tuscan 2, what an awesome drivers car, Batman should have had one of those. There is Nothing better that a Naked car, just you & only you keeping yourself on the jagged edge without dying, what a rush, I currently have a GT40 replica with an Audi V10, It has the bear minimum of driver aids, & it is beyond fabulous.
I too love TVR , I very nearly just bought an S3 , but went for a white Alfa 948 spider instead ( which you're welcome to review Jack , its a good one ) Loving the content, varied and fun to watch !
If you don't love TVR, you just don't like cars! Just such wild and special things and proof that we are now WAY past 'peak car' because something like this is just unthinkable. It's literally the antidote to a 911 and could not be more different. It's a crime that no one with serious money and intent has ever picked up the brand... The day they closed the factory was the last time a TVR was ever made, so we never had bland horrible cars carrying the TVR name such as happened to Jaguar. It remains very pure and un-molested as a brand and I think that maintains the romance. Looks like you had an absolute blast... And lived to tell the tail!
What a glorious car! So much 'more' than the utterly bonkers but sometimes rather amateurish models that came before it. I love it! Thanks Jack, another great review.
Always loved the look of these... I drove once a TVR Chimera 4.5... It was fun and the sound was something too. Prices have gone bananas for these TVR cars, but they sounds raw, beastial... But for security and fun, i'll keep my 911 c2s... Not quite as fast but more suited to our roads in the UK.

(...with golden rims that is) 🙈
Great review first time watcher
... Sagaris my favourite car tbh looks wise and value have gone up alot in last ten years
0-60 in first gear ⚙️ in 3 seconds is amazing, that's motorbike performance in a car weighing next to nothing, fantastic power to weight ratio !,, not bad for an older car, it was clearly way ahead of its time. It looks and sounds stunning too.❤
I´m owning a Tuscan MK1, those cars are completely mental, that´s what the fun is all about 💕 TVR forever. These are defining the difference between going somewhere... and DRIVING
TY Jack, amazing car & enjoyed the review! 🙏
I would too pick this car before a MP4, it's just the natural enthusiast choice. Excellent video
As a driver, if your Performance car is not actively trying to murder you as you go down the road.... then it's not a real Performance car.
Can hear the extra power on this one it sounded great
This gorgeous, awesome Sagaris reminds me of my favourite TVR era, the M series, only much modernized and improved.
Flawless design. And sounds incredible!
I've been keeping an eye out for one to appear in North America. Ever since I saw that Top Gear episode I've been pretty interested in the Sagaris. The one you're driving seems like a great example! Even my preferred colour.
Never seen ‘upclose’ and thought the gills were open. Small hood, did I miss something? Peculiar design, love it... Creature from the Black Lagoon.
Love it. Looks great, sounds awesome. Great video and review, good to see another unusual car.
That thing looks and sounds MENTAL!
Love it!
i used to live round the corner from 1 as a kid and still love the look of it. only thing i would do is change the see-through spoiler for a coloured 1. lovely 2-tone blue and green.
It was the axe the Immortals had,
I used to get the opportunity to drive this & a lot more TVRs because they used the test track owned by the company I worked for, & I borrowed the Best car they ever made for a couple of years, the Tuscan 2, what an awesome drivers car, Batman should have had one of those.
There is Nothing better that a Naked car, just you & only you keeping yourself on the jagged edge without dying, what a rush, I currently have a GT40 replica with an Audi V10, It has the bear minimum of driver aids, & it is beyond fabulous.
That has aged wonderfully, still looks amazng today, wow.
Love the sound when it starts waking up
I too love TVR , I very nearly just bought an S3 , but went for a white Alfa 948 spider instead ( which you're welcome to review Jack , its a good one )
Loving the content, varied and fun to watch !
Ah thanks dude.. Will keep the offer of a review in mind for the summer! Have a great Xmas 🎄!!
The Sagaris is on my list of cars to own, it's just a beast and such an amazing looking car
It looks stunning, what a car!
Guy around our village here has one in purple, lovely bit of kit!
What a glorious car! So much 'more' than the utterly bonkers but sometimes rather amateurish models that came before it. I love it! Thanks Jack, another great review.
I like the builder attitude "we didn't get the memo" wish more people thought like this we might get stuff done
Great character and stunning in that colour.
