I had the total opposite experience in Cambodia 4 months ago, it was amazing, you must attract criminals, I had ZERO issues in 2 weeks all over Cambodia, the TUK TUK drivers were nothing but kind to me, and so cheap, the prices were so low I had to give good tips because I felt so sorry for them
What do you expect from a drunk who only sees women as objects? Of course he attracts people like him
I had a fantastic time up in Siem Reap
There were no issues at all yes they tuk tuk drivers drove me crazy but that's to be expected....
It wasn't until I got down to Phnom Penh where I experienced anything that I felt unsafe and this is where I saw the Tuk Tuk driver set the guy up with the drugs....
It's also where I experienced some rather seedy areas I guess is the best way to put it,,,
And the outright aggressiveness of the Tuk tuk drivers....
but overall my time in Cambodia was very positive I'm not quite sure how you got that from this video all I'm saying is that I would much rather live in Thailand than in Cambodia....
Really bud?
I honestly don't understand what your problem is.....
I hope you have a blessed day
@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean I would rather live in Thailand as well, in fact, I am moving later this year, but the people in Cambodia are wonderful, I was there two weeks and travelled all around Cambodia, and never had an issue, like I said, in a previous response, I had to give the tuk-tuk drivers extra money because the fair was so cheap. I felt bad for them.
I've stopped feeling bad for people,,,,.
Because where does it end???
Yes the people in most of Cambodia are amazing
The tuk tuk driver in Phnom Penh were not....

Interesting perspective. Thanks for the video.
Hey man thanks for watching I truly appreciate that...

Nice video Mark. I went to Siem Reap last year for a week. I found it a bit like Nam in the way that everyone is trying to separate you from your money. I agree with you about Ankhor Wat, but there is so much to see and it’s so spread out, that I got a bit Templed out in the end and asked my tour guide to take me home.
I really love going to Angkor Wat I honestly cannot get templed out and I would love to be able to go there once a year every year until I damn well can't walk them...
Lol
Again I love Cambodia I just couldn't live there I know that I would get bored so fast...

Hey Mark thanks for sharing your take on Cambodia.
My pleasure bud
Keeping watching I'll share more about my experiences there,,,,,,
Great advice Mark. Especially about the set up with the handshake etc. They used to do that a lot on beach road pattaya, don't know If they still do. I never knew about it and would never shake someone's hand if they just put it out to me. I'm glad I went with my gut feeling. When I found out what it really is I felt so glad I never fell for it. I've never been Cambodia and don't think ill bother. Thailand all the way for me. 3 years to go and I'm retireing in pattaya darkside
you know it's crazy because people fall for that scam all the time and it literally happened right in front of me I would have filmed it except for the fact that I know better when you're in a situation like that do not film it because you're asking for trouble this isn't Canada this isn't the United States where we may or may not have some rights here you're taking an awful risk filming something like that.......
I am a Californian. I have lived in Thailand, Taiwan, Japan, Phillippines, and China, mostly Shanghai. Been thinking about moving to Thailand. You can have the best of both worlds in Thailand: easy laid back stress free and/or busy party time high life. People are nice and friendly in all the places/countries I have lived in. However, things are way too expensive in Shanghai and Japan. Constant threat from China in Taiwan. Mega storms in the Phillippines.
By the way, you remind me of one of my favorite actors, Willie Garson.
That's actually awesome how you break this down in your comments and yes Thailand offers so much and especially the affordability when compared to and Shanghai...
if you've watched enough of my videos you know that I do maintain a place in Shanghai and I love it there however it can be horrifically expensive.....
As well the rest of your comment with the storms and all of the other challenges that you facing the different countries I would have to say that Thailand is head and shoulders above the rest of the countries here in southeast Asia....
I'm not quite sure who Willie is I'm going to have to check him out....

Hi Mark!
Great video.
Good to know.👍
Hey Nigel
It's amazing how I'm getting absolutely brutalized in the comment sections all because I made a video about my own personal opinion between Cambodia and Thailand it's hilarious
Last trip to Pattaya I got burned out and shot over to Siem Reap. It was like stepping back in time 100 years.., I had an incredible experience, riding bikes around the temples and lakes. After a week I was super excited at the end to return to Bangkok to experience the contrast.
And I as well love VISITING Siem Reap,,,,
But after a week, 2 max I'm done!!!!

Thanks for sharing. I was contemplating taking a job offer in Cambodia.
It will be December for me. I'm pretty excited.
Where?
Cambodia is amazing, do it.
I've watched alot of videos from many different people and Thailand is the only place I will go. It's called the land of smiles for a reason.
Hey Joe listen brother I absolutely love Thailand obviously that's why they call me Thailand's happiest hobo....
Lol
I will say this much though I do love Cambodia I've had some incredible times there it's just that I wouldn't trade a cheaper lifestyle in Cambodia for living in Thailand.....
@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean Some people do not have enough money to retire (poor financial planning, alcohol/drugs, divorce (s)), so they have no choice but to move to Cambodia, I met people living in shit holes in Cambodia because that is all they could afford, no way they can afford Thailand at $1,000 a month SS
and that's the thing the point I was making in the video when I talked about what type of expats you're likely to meet that are living there....
there's nobody that really chooses to live there because they love it they choose to live there almost because they have to....
Stay safe Mark, thanks for the good information ❤ Hugs
Thanks Jocelyn...
Love ya
Love you Mark xo
Again Dr. Mark much appreciate your observations. For me I'm not inclined to be alcoholic...not my thing to be obliterated. A few beers n shots are fine or good wine. The alternative of Thai stick would be more to my liking. But the food you show n describe n also healthy is my cup of tea. Two more years then I retire can't wait to be there. Women in general have disappointed throughout my life that they only seem to be something of a Commodity that I look at with caution n distain. One of these days I will find a good one...maybe.haha yeah right!! When the time is right.
And again they arey observations....
In S.E. Asia the laws are always changing, so you must move to which ever country is treating expats the best. Vietnam used to embrace expats, but now they are pushing them all out and they are fleeing to Cambodia and Cambodia is embracing them. In a few years it might be a different country that treats expats better. That's the whole reason expats left their home country, because they were not appreciated.
Maybe if expats especially the white ones aren't disgusting pigs then they would be treated better yeah?
I have heard similar arguments as to why Vietnam is treating people the way that they are right now....
and I wouldn't say my friend to be honest with you that I left Canada because I didn't feel appreciated I left Canada because I wanted to explore I wanted to have adventures that I just simply could not have in Canada..
That and I hate the cold!!!
Lol

@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean I am in Canada too, BC, we have lived in Thailand in the past and will move permanently this winter. Yeah sadly like you said drinking beer is not culture,,, sadly it seems that's all people want to do back in Canada...
It is sadly boring, and let's face it you cannot live the same life in Canada that you can here,,,
And no not everyone can afford to retire here, but that being said a lot of people can't afford to retire period!!!!!
Hi Mark,
I was planning to visit Cambodia just to see the sights particularly Ankor Vat. Is there a way to avoid the aggressive Tuk Tuk drivers and the hardsell street scammers. Would it help staying in more expensive hotels and taking tours through reputable companies? Money for me is not a factor it is just when people harass me on the street I get very angry and want to punch them hard but of course I realize that could end badly.
Peace
Hey Michael up in Siem Reap they're just aggressive it's not as if they're going to hurt you or harm you they're just annoying is the biggest problem.
The Tuk tuk drivers are just annoying there,,,.
In Phnom Penh it's a different story.
Cheers mate 🍺
How is it that I was in Siem Reap 3 months ago and did not experience aggressive people once? Mind you I never hang around bars and clubs, maybe that increases the chances of being harrassed. I hired a Tuk Tuk driver for Anker Wat and also a tour guide, money well spent, I had zero issues in Cambodia with scammers. Was I luckey? or do some people attract trouble? If you are hanging around in bars you will find lots of trouble for sure.
Did you even watch the video?????
In it I talk about how great it is how GREAT it is in Siem Reap......
I talk about the tuk tuk drivers in Phnom Penh.....
That's where they were super aggressive and downright sketchy!!!!
All I said about them up in Siem Reap is that they can be annoying,,,,,
I also stated right in the video that I did not spend much time on pub street so I don't understand how you got what you got from this video buddy but really you should go back and watch it again because your comments make no sense at all.....
Where in Thailand do you recommend? I am retiring and looking to leave in a few months. I want to travel and find the right place for me. I have only been to Phuket on a short trip. I unfortunately stayed far away from downtown and busy areas. It would take us 45min-1hr taxi ride to the malls. Any recommendation for Thailand cities now that I am traveling as a single person looking for culture, things to do, see historic places, learn the language, etc?

Nai Harn on Phuket,,,,
Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai.

Thanks for the heads up. I was looking at Cambodia as a possible vacation destination early next year. Safety is probably my number one priority. After hearing your comments I have scrubbed this as a potential destination. Phuket was fantastic but I don't want to repeat the same destination. Might start looking at Krabi.

Not sure if it has changed that much from October/November last year, but I spent 5 days in Phnom Penh and another four in Siem Reap and had no issues. There were tuk tuk drivers outside our hotel in the capital, but that seemed safer to have the same guys to take you around each day. We walked the streets at all hours with no problems - maybe our area wasn't typical, but it was a budget hotel. We took a tuk tuk to the old capital - two hours outside the city - and it was just fantastic. We were the only foreigners there and weren't bothered (except some kids selling flowers). I'd just say that everyone's experience is different and, if you are aware of your surroundings, you should be okay.

Sadly I'm being crucified for telling my experience...
Most Cambodians speak Thai. I don't think Thais work as freelancers there. Furthermore Cambodians and Thais hate each other, it's too dangerous to live there. It doesn't make any business sense either. Why they have to work in Camboda when they have everything much better here?
I'm just telling you what I experienced I met a couple of Thai girls that were working on Pub Street,,,,
I think for the most part they like the fact that the tourists we will call them are younger....
I think they felt that maybe down on Phuket right now it's a little bit too slow so they would try up in Siem Reap
could be the fact that there's way less competition
I don't know what to tell you sorry.
@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean What you don't know is that "Siem Reap" is an ironic name. It literally means "Siam is defeated by Khmer." The Khmer is illusion. They never defeat Siam. Cambodia is ruled by Siam for four hundred years. Thailand calls it "Siem Raj", literally means Land of Siam.
@@rickfreunde5957 You are just repeating the Thai version of events 😂😂😂. Khmer Empire was there many centuries before Thai people even showed up. When Thai people showed up they were sub servents of Khmer Kings but rebelled at some point and formed their own kingdoms first in Lao and then in Ayttaya- Thailand. Thai Kings never never never ruled over Khmer. In fact Thais were barbarians from the jungle while Khmer already had developed civilization, cities, writing etc.
Siem Reap is called like that because there was a big battle in the area and Thais got defeated.
With all respect for Thais but history is history and those who forget it are due to repeat it.
There are some ethnic thais living in Camp so my guess they are the ones working or it could be for some girls from Issan Siem Reap is just closer to travel for work than going across the country to Pattaya.
PS: in fact one Thai man told me Siem Reap was a Thai city before they got defeated so many people in the area would be ethnic Thai.
Thai culture is unique , Thais are very respectful which reflects in the daily lifestyle . Cost of living is rising in Thailand but it is still cheaper than the cost of living in North America . Thanks for your video
You're very welcome and thank you for watching I truly appreciate that...
and yes things are rising a little tiny bit but I'll be honest with you I haven't noticed that much of a change in the last 2 years....

I do not find Thailand expensive at all, try living in Vancouver!! You need a minimum of $3500 a month with NO MORTGAGE, if you are a renter in Vancouver you need a monthly income of at least $6,000, in Thailand I can live very well for $2500 CAD a month, our income is 3X that, we travel all over SE Asia and still can not spend our money, in Vancouver we would be treading water every month, barely making it.

My comments as a Thai, if you're looking for places that are cheaper than major tourist destinations i.e. Bangkok, Phuket or Chiang Mai, consider secondary town such as Adyudhaya (adjacent to Bkk.), Prachuab Kirikhan (20 minutes from Huahin) or Chiangrai or Mae Hongsorn in the north.

I used to tell the Tuk Tuk drivers in India that I would pay them extra NOT TO TAKE ME to the tourist shops the moment I got in. Paying an extra €1 per trip didn't bother me. They need the extra money, I get it, but I didn't need the hassle.
it was brutal man the minute I got off the plane and into the Tuk Tuk he started driving and then he pulled over on this really dark Road and I'm thinking what the heck is going on and he just wouldn't stop to the point that honestly I was pretty much ready to just carry my bag and walked where I had to go.....

How much does your Real Estate Agent charge you to manage your rental properties in Canada. In California the Real Estate Agent charges my buddies 10% of the rent check to manage their homes as rental properties. Then they just use that money to rent a place in Thailand.

Cheaper doesnt mean better. Thailand is more expensive than Cambodia but it is way better in Thailand. Buck to buck, Thailand is still far ahead and better than Cambodia.
Siem Reap is fantastic as are the coastal areas in Cambodia...
I just didn't like Phnom Penh....
If I was to compare the 2 countries Thailand wins hands down....
Pp is the worst. I had friends begging me to move there, but I'd never do it. Lived in Cambodia for many years and I can say Thailand is much better despite being more expensive. Thai food is cheaper and tastes a lot better, and of course as you mentioned, safety!
I was gonna text Mark, but I saw your comment & thought I'd pick your brain. You lived in Cambodia for years. I have been scoping out S.E. Asia & fell in love with Thailand & Vietnam, then I discovered Malaysia & like the looks of it. Naturally Cambodia & Laos are central to the others & worth a look too. Phnom Penh turned me off from the get go! Snatching phones & bags, now this from the video, which you confirm. F that! The next question is do I write off Cambodia or just PP. SIEM Reap, Kep, kampot & maybe the island(s). Don't know if there's more than one, look ok. What say you, the voice of experience? I love food, so that aspect of Cambodia seems to leave a great deal to desire. How'd you last there for yrs.? Let me know.
@whatsname2649 for expenses, safety, clean and up and coming technology center, Vietnam is the way to go!! It's moved up from 3rd world...to 2nd.
I also find the food way cheaper in Thailand, and way better, no comparison actually, Thailand wins hands down

It's true that Cambodia is going through a bad economy. In Siem Reap only 30% of the pre-covid tourism is back. There's hardly any Chinese which used to be a huge part of tourism there. The people who primarily or secondarily depend on tourism are finding it hard to put food on the table.
All of the countries here in South East Asia are experiencing the same Chinese tourust problems.
That doesn't really explain who prices have not changed in 6-7 years on a lot of things especially food and drinks. Even hotels are as low as before
Seems you don't know how the tuk tuk system works in Cambodia you rent the driver by the day meaning they wait for you all the time even out side your hotel or visiting temples and shops😅 until you tell them to go you no longer need there service. 2am I would normally tell my drivers I'm finished for your service to day.
I fully understand the concept of renting the driver for the whole day but when you're not renting them for the whole day and they sit outside your hotel waiting for you to prey on you no matter what you're doing it's kind of annoying....
Why would someone with a motorbike need a Tuk Tuk???

Or why would anybody want to be constantly harassed by the Tuk Tuk driver????

I don’t agree with this. I had many horrible experiences in Bangkok. I’ve lived in Phnom Penh for a year now and it’s so much safer here, you just can’t be stupid. But you get scammed in every major city if you’re not smart about it. The cost of living in Cambodia however, is definitely NOT cheaper than Bangkok. Rent is overpriced and food isn’t cheap, so no clue where people who don’t live here get this Cambodia is cheaper thing 😂 The major perk to Cambodia is the country is amazing and cheap when it comes to visas. Thailand is horrible in that department. Quality of buildings is also better in Bangkok, lots of water damage and mold in PP.

I am a Cambodian still, even though I am carrying another country citizenship and passport. Donkey years ago I left Cambodia and went to live overseas, for I wished to become a "Human Being" and belonged to the "Human Race" instead of remaining in Cambodia and being a narrow minded Cambodian with the others and today they are getting worst, don't be fooled by them, they love your money but hate all foreigners.
Cambodia is hot and things cost just as much as in Germany or France where I now live.
Last but not least, I am happy because I live amongst the true civilised people : here I have friends who are broad minded with whom I can share Knowledge and Wisdom, e.g. Philosophy, World History, Sciences, Arts, Languages and Religion etc... Here is a brief History of Cambodia : until 2000 years ago, the whole Indochina Peninsula, for more than 10000 years, the land had been inhabited by hundred of thousands of native aboriginal tribal primitive people who were the ancestors of the Cambodians today; the Khmers (Aryan Khemara) came from India to Indochina Peninsula picked a suitable spot and conquered the Primitive Native Tribes and created a country called Kampuchea. The civilised Khmers despised the Primitive Cambodians and the feeling was mutual. The Khmers had built a Hindu Civilisation from the late 9th century to the late 14 century and it collapsed completely in the 15th century and 98% of the Khmers died with it. With the help of Thailand, the Cambodians brought Buddhism from Sri Lanka to Cambodia to replace the dead and buried Khmer Hindu Civilisation and Wisdom, and you guess it, the Cambodians have no clue of what the Khmer Knowledge and Wisdom was - for the Khmers thought and spoke a language called Vedic Sanskrit and the Cambodians today, they speak "Gibberish" mixed with foreign words such as French or English or Russian etc...
No. Khmer people are the same as Malay people at least came from the same rout and they were there long before Hindu culture spread out. Khmer kings same as Thai, Malay and Indo accepted Hindu culture at some point as it was most the strongest and most developed civilization in the region. But Khmer didn't come from India they came from the same place all Malay people came from long before Hindu couples aroze.
Never saw anyone this scare of the tuk tuk driver 😂 than better sleep tight and don't let the tuk tuk bit 😂😂 what a lady.
Would you prefer if i lied like most vloggers and didn't tell the truth ????

@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean i apologize, Cambodia have a lot of nice people. don't mix them up with those terrible ones.
Did we watch the same video?
I talk about how wonderful certain parts of Cambodia are and then I warn people about the tuk tuk drivers in Phnom Penh,,,,,
honestly I don't understand why I'm catching so much hate from people over this video I wasn't negative in it I'm just giving my opinion as to would I live in Cambodia just because it's cheaper than Thailand..
HTF I really don't understand why I caught so much hate over this it's not like I said Cambodia was a terrible place I repeatedly stated over and over how much I enjoy going there..
thanks Doc 😲you saved me a bundle by not visiting Cambodia , better off kicking back in Jomtien beach 🏖️
Hey bud
Look it's an amazing place and I love Cambodia
I'm just saying I couldn't live there....that's all
Shanghai ? Whats the deal there ?
That's what I was wondering too. China has a shortage of women, because parents want a son. Chinese people don't really like Americans.
I've been going to China guys for the past 15 years I absolutely love it I own a condo in Shanghai it is a second home to me....
Boys not everything in life is about the girls I really hate to say it...
Also you're right the Chinese aren't very fond of the Americans right now and I'm not an American I am Canadian and they love Canadians still to this day
@@whyhellotherewithdrmarksabean For me, it's all about finding a good woman. It's a pretty lonely life without a good woman to wake up to every morning.

I thought if you used the Pass or Grab app you wouldn't have this issue with the tuk tuks.
For sure
But the Tuk Tuk drivers will still drive you crazy
At least that been my experience and most people I've talked to,,,

You could be catching a lot of heat cause of the truth and that’s why no other foreign tubers dare do it. Even after what a local Cambodian’s comments below were, it’s still being ignored by the majority. However at 0.75 cents for a beer I’m still gonna roll the dice for a few weeks cause I’m an idiot 😂
I absolutely love Cambodia and I will be back but I will be sticking to the northern section around Siem Reap
Too bad with the 51% owner ship of any business in Thailand and other places in South East Asia :/
Yeah it's complicated
this guy has no clue what he is talking about. He speaks on the most basic level in terms of western expectations and has no clue about the differences in cultures etc. Nor does anyone else who went there for a week in the comments . smh
I talk basic Joe so people like you can understand what I'm saying...
I've been to Cambodia more times than I can count!!!
I know what I'm talking about
You have a blessed night...
Thanks for helping with the algorithm
Yeah somewhere like Pattaya, a bit far away is pretty good living. Nearly all the beggars in BKK are from Cambodia I think. Cambodia is the most corrupt of SE Asian countries. Still worth looking around and trying. Killing fields (a little one) was in Siam Reap too
I love Cambodia with the exception of Phnom Penh,,,,
Siem Reap is one of my favourite places to visit....
Cheers mate 🍺
I live in Phnom Penh & always feel safe. Really safe. Everywhere safe. Only a very stupid person would try to buy street-hard drugs from a Tuk Tuk driver. I have found the Cambodian people friendly & honest. As far as Siem Reap, that is a highly tourist destination. You have to watch your step a little more there because there are people who may take advantage of you. Most won't, but the few that do work much harder. All this said, Thailand is a more fun, interesting destination. I always enjoy going there & next month am taking my Khmer GF for a 2 week Thailand vacation. I've been going to Thailand since the 1970's. And guess what? I was robbed twice in Bangkok. It can happen anywhere if you are careless.
Yeah, only think I hear him complain about is the tuk tuk driver 😂😂
That's crazy! I've gone for walks all over Bangkok at 2 a.m. and down dark alleys and have never had anyone follow me with a bat to rob me. I feel 100% safe in Bangkok. Sorry that happened to you. In Manila, Philippines I did not feel safe at night though.
yeah this guy seems to base his opinions on some very fringe stories
So a tuk tuk driver intentionally setting someone up to be arrested for narcotics is ok????????
Never had anything feel outta place in Thailand or Korea or China or Indonesia or Cuba or Mexico or Colombo or anywhere except there....
And that makes me an a$$hole?????
These tuk tuk guys are cowraaaazzy!
Some of them can be extremely dangerous I don't care what these guys in the comment section are saying about them it is downright crazy how some of them act....
Thanks for watching and commenting

well Mark Sabean thats your own opinion and you do have the right to yorur own opinion but just becouse thats yoru own opinion does not mean you are right. for one in my own opinion you are wrong what you say in this video. for i am sure there are meany more people that will disagree with you on what you hae said about not just cambodia and all so what you say about thailand just look at all the other expats go and live in lot of other counties other then thailand even then cambodia. for me i would love to live in vietnam if it was not for the language and for me its the same with thailand and cambodia thats why i would pick some other country that speaks english and there are so meany countrys in southeast asia that do speak english other then philippines too. this is why your wrong with what you said in this video for i do know people that do love living in cambodia. yayaya i know its not for you but you can not tell others that its only a nice place to visit but not to live there this is only that you feel that way about for your self. thats jsut fine that you feel that way. your just wrong telling others that is all. its up to them if its just a nice place to visit or to live there for them selfs.
Well correct me if I'm wrong but am I not entitled to my own opinion???
It's my vlog about my experiences I'm sharing my views on something....
Last time I checked this was allowed....
I have been to Cambodia many many times and never experienced or witnessed any of the issues described here. This video is nonsense
Pretty funny there are dozens of other who have witnessed the same if not worse than I did in Phnom Penh...
Again if actually watched the video you would realize I was talking about Phnom Penh... Not Cambodia as a whole
Sorry mate but it's not nonsense!!!
It's reality.
I've been to Cambodia at least 12 times and loved every single visit until I went to Phnom Penh,,,,
Every single thing I mention happened
Sorry but that's reality.

Thanks for the heads up. I like cheap but I don’t like dangerous more.
Siem Reap was great Phnom Penh not so
Hi.i am Thai and I love your video, thank you ❤😊. But 1 thing i am not sure about Thai girl working in combudia bar. 🤔. What kind of evidence/ proof that She or they show you that they are Thai? Coz in this situation It is not safe for Thai people living in Cambodia and the Thai currency exchange rate is higher. Hundreds of thousands of Cambodians illegally come to work in Thailand. and often Cambodians claim to be Thai. However, I do not mean that it is impossible for Thai girls in Cambodian bars Just feeling curious.😄.Hope you are safe and have a nice trip.🏖️🥂🍸🍹
Hi thank you for watching
I love your country,,,, the girls I met who said they were Thai I think went there to try working because no competition for them,,,,
But they might have been Cambodians who lied bout being Thai,,,,
Thank you
I have been in Siem Reap for a couple of months with out any problems. Just to be clear, I don’t go out to the bars at night. I enjoy the people in Siem Reap very much. I have not ever felt unsafe. I did visit PP and I did not like it. I know some people that love PP. I am not a big city person. I do like Vietnam the best of all in Asia. I like Hanoi. But, I love Da Nang. Everyone has different experiences, as well as different likes and wants in life.
And as I said I absolutely love Siem Reap
I just know that I would get bored there in a hurry...
Phnom Penh I did not enjoy at all as well as Ho Chi Minh City....
I'll get to Da Nang soon
I'm sure I'll love it there....
Cheers mate 🍺

yer, i lived in thailand for 2 years, started a business, but Cambodia wins hands down, nice people, easy to live, easy to do business and far far cheaper, after 20 years here never had any issues
Well that's awesome to hear and yes trying to start a business or do anything here in Thailand is much harder than Cambodia...
I would definitely appreciate the retirement visa situation there because it is far easier than here...
But for me personally I just prefer Thailand....
Thanks for watching and commenting
Of course, easier to do business in Cambodia where the rules and regulations are almost nothing over there..such a mess and underdeveloped
What sort of business did you start?
lol
Cheers mate 🍻
That was your first mistake saying: “Your favorite Mexican restaurant in Bangkok”. How would you feel if I said my favorite Thai restaurant in Mexico?
?????
I don't understand!!!!!
Couldn’t agree more. I’ve never felt safe in Cambodia. So many scams and so much mess. It’s sad but true.
The sad part is that there is a lot of Cambodia that is beautiful, but the ugliness of Phnom Penh and the Tuk Tuk Scammers detract so much for the experience
Thanks for watching and commenting
Whats so dangerous about Cambodia? The tuk tuk driver. 🤣🤣😂😂
Lol
If you don't think that catching a drug rap in Cambodia because of a tuk tuk driver isn't dangerous,,,
Or being assaulted by one because you politely decline his absurd offer ,,,,,
Well what can I say besides,,,,
Thanks for helping with the algorithm...
Why hello there again Dr. Marc - - one word that I don’t particularly like is, “never “, no you say you would never live in Thailand, but is there not a few situations where you would live in Thailand? For instance, what if you were madly in love with former Miss Canada and miss world who also was madly in love with you and only wanted to live in Cambodia. Maybe The major reason she wanted to live in Cambodia was it was the only place in Southeast Asia where she could avoid using chopsticks. You know women can be quite irrational, right? Now, tell me you would not live with her in Thailand?
Another word that I’m not too keen on and it has been super popular lately is the word, “toxic “. It’s one of those words like good and bad that is used to taint a person without having any facts behind it.
“her smile is so toxic that it triggers me to throw up. “
“His tipping is so toxic that the bartender Will not serve him and will immediately start to weep.“
“That guy is so toxic walking around with a big bulge in his pants. “
Yes. Us guys tend to think and make decisions logically and women tend to base their decisions on emotions and how they feel at the moment. Hillary is having a bad day, so she is going to blow up Bengazi.
No sorry Jaz I would NEVER live full time in Cambodia....
Like I said great place to visit, but for me I could not and would not live there
NEVER EVER!!!
Again not everything in life comes down to women,,,,,
Been living in Cambodia off and on since 2008, never had these experiences. You either have no idea what you're doing, or Thailand is paying you lol. This video is a complete joke.
Did you actually watch the video?
What experience did I have that was so unbelievable?
The poor guy getting set-up?
The TukTuk driver harrassing me?
Meeting the old expat who was a drunk?
Was it talking about how cheap it is in Siem Reap that you didn't like?
Perhaps it was me talking about S21 and The Killing Fields,,,,
Really bud what was it that you didn't agree with and why am I not entitled to have an opinion?
As someone who's travelled the world I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about,,,,,,
I'm.sorry for having an opinion and liking Thailand more than Cambodia.....
I know that's completely wrong of me, but it is what it is.....
Have a blessed day
Same bad experience @ Cambodia 😢 . No way I will return again.
For me I will definitely be back because I love Cambodia especially Angkor Wat,,,, but never to Phnom Penh again...
Mark,
If you get happy ending massage, can Thai girl capture ending in condom and use to impregnate herself and come after you in the future? Is this possible?
Hey Bo
nothing would surprise me to be honest ,,,,
God only knows
Wow, this guy's mind is working overtime, what a fantastic comment! 🧐😯🤣🤣🤣🤣👍
Only a person with a 1st century brain agrees with him.
Ok!
And NOW - we know the rest of the story !!! > I've heard other horror story's but none as disgusting as yours. The pandemic has financially caused many destitute people who are 'desperate' now trying to make up for lost money from tourists it would appear. -?- My preference is the Philippines for ease of the visas and all the English. - - - The Govt. in Thailand isn't so 'friendly' anymore from what I hear ?
I've heard that about the businesses in Phuket doing nasty things to foreigners to make up for lost revenue during the pandemic. Why do people even waste their money in Phuket. Pattaya is way nicer and cheaper.
You know philippines is culturally diverse right? Where exactly in the philippines? Not every place there can speak english
@@twillyspanksyourcakes Dumaguete for me - as an old man - Cebu perhaps - and - Tagaytay for cooler weather or even Valencia ? Road signs menus legal documents etc. are in English and all these places I mentioned ? -- Low costs can be found S. of Manilla from Traces Martires to Tagaytay - an hour or two from Manilla - somewhat near the VA Clinic & US Embassy. -- And - 36 months w/o a visa run ? Cheap to Island hop to some great beaches. - - - Also > read what @tropicXplorer says after me ! + ALL THAT.
I'm not sure what the Philippines ate like, as I've never been there
I will visit this year though

Absolutely not true. What you said is wrong. People are very kind and polite.
What did I say that was wrong?
All I said was the Tuk Tuk drivers were super aggressive,,.
What did I say about the people????
I dont not take by personal.
But most Khmer was nice but some very scam.
As come to Thailand without work permit.
We try to push them away from Thailand problems happen to my country.
I feeling not nice with Khmer people.
