I wouldn't say it's a lack of training, just a lack of fortitude and competence while under pressure. It's not like you get hired, buy a uniform, and go on patrol fully armed. They are trained with a weapon in a few ways. They just can't handle any actual pressure. The fact we are afraid of those who enforce the laws our civilization revolves around and that they are afraid of us is only ever gonna end one of two ways.
This video is capped off with some great advice. The graveyard is full of people who are 100% in the right and 100% in the ground. Be careful out there.
I think this points to a bigger problem here--the law is not what is written in statute or established by precedent, it's what a judge decides in a given case. If the Texas woman had returned fire, yes, she likely would have been killed. But I have a very hard time imagining a DA bringing charges against the cops, let alone a judge ruling against the cops (maybe the family will get a civil settlement from the city that is paid entirely with tax dollars). If someone fires at police, I can't imagine it would matter that under a certain (very reasonable) legal theory it was permitted. It's hard enough to convict cops that kill innocent people that didn't shoot at them, it seems insane to think you'd skip charges if you survived shooting back. Best case realistic scenario is you survive the encounter and bankrupt yourself with legal fees to avoid jail time, and that's optimistic. It's so cool that we, as a society, decided that the armed agents of the state that have a literal license to kill should be less accountable than your average Joe when it comes to the use of deadly force.
@@CommunistsarentpeopleLmao. Atleast they panicked because they saw a gun. Ever see that video of a male cop having an acorn fall on his car so he jumps out, screams he’s been hit? and mag dumps his own car which has a handcuffed passenger in the back who’s completely unarmed?

The real question is, will you survive long enough to go to court. The first thing that will happen is a swarm of officers shooting at you from every direction.
After you shoot the first couple of bad cops, you need to be on the phone with their boss, trying to get him to order a cease fire so the shooting stops. But that probably isn't going to work either.
You are absolutely correct! To answer the "should you return fire" question; the obvious answer is "No!" You WILL be killed by the officers who show up later; and will almost certainly be better shots. The cops might even be able to cover-up the incident without anyone knowing it was pure murder.
They do that on purpose, because its a lot harder to go to court for wrongdoing if the victim is dead. First rule of policing is that if the guns come out, make sure the suspect stops breathing.
Would you rather go to court with lifelong injuries and spend time, money and effort trying to clean your name for lawfully defending yourself and your home? Or would you rather lawfully defend yourself and your home until the actually guilty aggressor ceases fire? Remember: The cops will surround your house with all sorts of firearms and either unlawfully attempt to break into or kill you, or they'll yell at you to come out unarmed so you can be arrested for a crime they did. The 2 officers that first fired at you will at most get relieved of duty. You will be a prisoner. You're not winning either way. So my opinion would be to exercise your lawful rights and make officers who partake in illegal aggression regret their choices.

@NotchaBiznesshow? this was his own disclaimer
You think the cops are going to stop not unless you force them too
So adolf hitler was in the right?

This needs to actually be argued in court so the precedent can be set. Too many times cops get away with this. I can guarantee had she managed to fire back and kill one or both officers she'd be in prison for defending herself.
Indeed. Which is why I’m glad he threw the clarification between “can” and “should.” Just because you CAN do something, doesn’t mean you should. In this case, you shouldn’t because the justice system is bias and corrupt.
It's open to interpretation for the very reason that if sometime the government is wrong, it has enough leeway to slime itself out of blame.

The cops should get charged with all kinds of stuff right? At the very least attempted murder..
I get the stress and stuff cops go through especially in USA, but damn. Thats an innocent persons life they almost took. We dont value life enough..
If those officers had had a mini-gun with 5000 rounds, they would have emptied it into the house. @@MeowModeFGCThats how prisons should be.

@@wouldntyouliketoknow9891 they make me feel so safe with their big guns and rash decisions with immature mindset and low IQ
