So I made them as I said I would, with raisins.
Long story short. I can now make these with my eyes closed (usually at 2 in the morning). My husband enjoys a couple most days so… he bought 4 bags flour and always ensures I have raisins 👍😃

@@nchimunyanyanga2660she didn’t add baking powder because she already used Self-Raising.
*If I’m not mistaken* I think you add about 2 teaspoons of baking powder to normal cake flour to make self-raising flour. I could be mistaken though, please search, you’ll find it on Google ❤

If you use self raising flour there is no need to add baking powder. Self raising flour already have baking powder.

@@user-vz7pf6tm1q Im just saying, Some places in Africa had rockbun about the same time or It was even after Jamaica since Jamaica was a colony of England. Rock bun is from there not Africa. It was proposed during world war 2. Thats way after slavery had been abolished.
