It has a lot to do with what the cover looks like above the mirror. If it looks like the civic cover it should mount up the same. We just got a civic i need to talk to the sponser and see if they want us to do one on that one as well. These are not hard to install mostly just take your time and don't rush it. Awesome video. Hopefully, it will work for my 2020 Honda Passport Elite. Do you have a video for the rear camera installation? There is no way I could route and hide the cable?
It should work just fine in your Passport Elite. I unfortunately don't have a video of the rear camera. It was not offered to us when we made this video. You would probably have to route the cables through the headliner. The bad part of that is that you may have to take it headliner down if you can't snake a fish tape through it to the connection in the light. It would take some time either way to get the cable back there. Best of luck, let us know how it goes.

I installed a blackvue dual channel using blendmount tucked under the mirror, it looks like it's oem and doesnt stick out, but this is even more stealthy and for the price it's a steal. I'll be watching this company for sure. What can you tell me about "Parking mode" does it offer it?
The park mode allows the system to turn back on while parked and the car is off, if it senses movement in front of the car. it will record a loop that can be accessed in the app on your phone if in the event of, let's say, someone steals or damages the car. We have had the system in for about a week so far we like it. My wife isn't using the park mode because our work has a secured parking lot.
It depends on how you have the settings. Because it also has a guardian mode, it causes it to boot up if it sees movement. Generally yes it turns on and off with the power unless you turn the power off on the camera.
Yea that’s a big concern because I wonder how many power cycles this camera can handle, currently have a rexing installed powered off a dongle from the mirror. Every time the engine shuts off for example at a red light, once you let off the brake and engine restarts the camera would reboot which ultimately lead to current rexing dash cam no longer working reliably.
@DaNuKidd914 i can't give you a definitive answer, but i know from playing with the one in my wifes car. It doesn't shut off at red lights. It requires the car powered down to shut off.

I have a Passport and it's good. Only negatives I have with the car is the infuriating infotainment system and poor seat comfort which is the same as the Honda Pilot.
When it comes to the infotainment system. The only frustrating thing we have dealt with is the system turns off our fitcamx system when you connect to andriod auto/apple car play. The seats my wife loves, they are far more comfortable than her equinox we use to have. She is not a fan of leather seats and really likes these.
@SanityKillerProjects I've got a 2021 and the seats are not comfortable. Based on what you're saying I think they've improved the comfort for the 2023. I'll have to try it out because looking at the 2023 the seats look soft in my eyes. I also have a 2021 CRV with leather seats and the seats are very comfortable compared to both my Passport and Pilot.
@@SeanAlegator if i had to guess they are probably more like the crv. I don't remember what those look like. If your passport seats are the same as my civic, i understand why they are not very comfortable. The cloth seats in that are mediocre at best.
@SanityKillerProjects because of that I should've waited for the 2023 version and get leather seats. The cloth seats aren't as bad as the equinox because I now have seat covers for that car. After owning the 2 cars I gotta say leather is better. You just get stains especially in lighter colors and they're less comfortable. Leather after owning the CRV for 2 years has been comfortable; no stains or any cracks at all.

@@SeanAlegator i prefer leather also but my wife doesn't normally like it because it gets too hot.
