Rahul Bansal shares his cancer fighting story!

A few years back Rahul's health journey took an unexpected turn when a routine sonography revealed kidney cancer, despite initially seeking treatment for a fatty liver condition. He underwent a full nephrectomy and chemotherapy to combat cancer and continued with regular scans every six months for five years before stopping.
Fast forward to March 2021, during a trip to Goa with friends, Rahul experienced unbearable pain in his right leg, leading to a series of medical investigations. Despite initial misdiagnoses, further tests unveiled the return of stage 4 cancer, now spread to various parts of his body. After trying immunotherapy and targeted therapy in Mumbai without success, Rahul sought a second opinion in Bangalore. There, he started chemotherapy. Remarkably, after just three cycles, this regimen cleared cancer from his lungs and reduced the size of tumors on his liver and below his spine.
Despite the challenges of treatment and even battling COVID-19 along the way, Rahul remains resilient and determined to live life to the fullest. He continues to travel extensively and pursue his passions, including a remarkable road trip to Leh-Ladakh, covering over 100000 km.
Currently facing adrenal gland insufficiency, Rahul remains optimistic and has embarked on 17 international trips alone in the past 6 months.
