I love trad it’s about all I deer hunt with, but im a compound shooter all the way . I like the hole idea of compound using a back tension release just something about it , I just can’t get enough . Archery is the best part of my life lol.
Good set up young man. Been shooting trad for a long time, have owned many different kinds of bows. Got a Satori this year, wow, it is by far the most consistent shooting recurve I’ve ever shot. Your form looks good, just keep practicing. That arrow setup is great also. Good luck on your journey.
The springy is a super rest. Slide a piece of D loop material (the outer layer) over where the arrow touches and onto the first coil a bit. Burn the ends slightly. Quiets her right down. Good luck. Nice rig! Mat from The Push Archery gave me the idea for the D Loop material. Can't take credit for it. D loop is smooth, slick and very durable.
Looks great. I put soft Velcro or moleskin on my string grooves to silence the bow a little if you’re going to hunt with it. Also some wool or cat whisker silencers on the string will help too. Enjoy !! Oh , also make sure to not shoot mechanical heads. A coc fixed head is the ticket. Good luck !!
Uukha Gobi are great limbs. I have medium 40 lb limbs and they are all I will ever need. Make sure you set your brace height correctly. Good luck with your bow
There is something indescribable, when you take walk into the woods a trad setup. Maybe the bow is a direct line to something deep, like walking in your your ancestors. I can’t put my finger on it, but it sure feel right and prime evil.
Can’t wait to see you take the trad journey brother 🤙🏼
I’m pumped bro!!

I’m with you! I don’t think I’ll be putting my compound down soon. But the trad side of things gives me “more” at the moment!
Good stuff right there !!! Sone good shooting. !!!
@@nealroberson5718 thanks man! I’m excited to give it a go!

Thanks for the encouragement! I've been having a blast!
love my Satori
I'm super impressed with it!

Nice! That's a great idea. I put some shrink wrap on it, but when that wears down I'll give this a go! Thanks so much!

Thanks so much for the tips! I've got some VPA broadheads on the way! I appreciate you!
I love my Satori!! I want to get some Uukha limbs eventually but also want to get a shorter Satori riser too.
I don't have a ton of experience with trying different limbs/risers, but can say this setup feels amazing! Definitely think you'd dig these.
Perfect timing for a video I am going to start trad bow hunting I will check out this set up. Looks great
@@pennyontrack that’s awesome! I’m really happy how this turned out. Have fun along the journey 🤙🏼
Just ordered a 17 “ satori with long axia foam core limbs. Your video got me on the traditional train thanks
@@pennyontrack oh heck yeah!! I’m pumped for you! Enjoy it!

Yeah they are amazing limbs! Right now it’s liking BH closer to 8” the best but still have some testing to do
@s.g.holmes if I remember the spec sheet states 198mm for my.medium limbs plus or minus 10mm.....sorry I am in UK hence mm
@@markmclaughlin4801 that makes sense, I'm quite close to that now. Thanks!
Nice bow. I run my arrow straight down the middle with the springy rest and tune the arrow to the bow from there.
Perfect! Thanks for the help!
Brother get you an R-core Master grip for your Satori it’s a game changer for them!
Thanks for the tip, I'll definitely check it out!

I was just telling a buddy that the other day. It’s an amazing feeling that keeps bringing me back!
