since the handles are over the top I can “float” sooooo I can clamp the backing and lay the batting on top then the top on that and stitch down the top with a 1/4” stay stitch to hold it all in place - when I do that I need to make sure everything is straight each time I shift. I do use my bungie clips on the side to hold the backing to make sure I don’t get any tucks - it’s worked fantastic so far. I’m doing a quilt with a minky type backing at this time and I only use the bungies to “hold” the backing in place but it’s not held taught since it is stretchy. ;) hope this helps . thanks for all your kind comments
As usual , an excellent video.
Thank you
in this vdeo towards the end i show basting doesn't have to be in a straight line .. i do sort of a zig zag ..
So you didn’t have to make a quilt sandwich first? You made your sandwich right on the frame?
