Hello and Welcome to my channel. I am an amateur home based machine quilter for the past 10 yrs that started out on my domestic Brother machines on a table and yes, I quilt in a closet! I began, like a lot of us, free motion quilting on a domestic machine on a table using tools like Sew Steady ruler feet and template rulers, and free motion feet. I've tried them all and like so many of my fellow free motion quilters, only dreamed of quilting on a frame. When the Cutie Table top hoop frame came out, I got one ! N ow I quilt on a Qnique 15pro midarm machine. Of Coarse this rocked my quilting world.... This You Tube Channel is for my fellow Quilters to share in my quilting journey. this is a Customized pattern From ANNIVERSARY in A Heart Remembers Black Bird Designs Book It was my first cross stitch sampler stitched on Aida cloth 14 ct. (. i lost the label with the name of the aida but I purchased it at the cross stitch cupboard ) stitched 2 over 1 - I’ll do better next time ;) - EM

This was a video when I first started on the Cutie frame with the Brother PQ1500s. On my office desk. - So it can be done - I’m stitching in a closet with a large office desk in there - you can do this ! ;). Happy Quilting

Thanks for the tip I am working on camera angles to get that. I, myself LOVE watching folks stitch … trying to see who has a great set up . Any suggestions?

Interesting!! So after you machine stitch, you’ll turn the strip over the stitch and then hand applique the stem?
This is entirely by hand no machine stitching

You should! This one you can do entirely with just the fabric tower if I remember correctly
Great video on shifting the quilt on the cutie! I just got my cutie frame and this video really helped me understand how to manage the quilt on it. Also very helpful to see how you used the bungee clips. I think I need to get those too! 😊

Love the hat! My mom would cross stitch (and other hand embroidery) and turn the blocks into quilts. I've still got the ones she made for my kids when they were born.

i had the machine set to regulated precise but sand stitch works alot better on manual at 20%

Nice way to start my morning watching you quilt
It has been amazing to watch your quilting progress. I just took my first actual quilt off the frame yesterday - it is filled with mistakes and just simple loop and circles quilting but I learned so much as I was doing it. It is a gift for my granddaughter and she isn't going to notice or care about the mistakes.
I’m So happy you are quilting on the frame ! Isn’t it a blast ? I love it! Don’t worry about the mistakes. I also have taken a quilting off the frame and see mistakes or poor tension issues and ripped out stitching - but that is one of the great things about the Cutie frame - we can go back even after the quilt is bound and redo things or fix things :) have a great time :) em

... ok I wasn't able to save this backing or batting - lesson learned : slow down and use a little bigger stitches . Replaced the batting and backing with a lovely blue swirl and only one single layer of cotton batting ... The material from the first backing can be used in other projects I'm sure .

I broght used pq 1500s today and needle broken what kind of needle should i use.. No idea.. No many users in korea.. Cant find T T normal industrial needle will be ok?
On the machine it tells you the needle sizes to use do you see it? I use Schmetz Microtex (Sharp) 130/705 H-M 80 /12 Needles and love them :)
