And maybe Robert Plant was not the most technically most proficient rock singer, ever. But he was (and is) a absolutely the most unique.
When Plant laid his vocals down on a track, that was the bands watermark. Certifying "This song is Led Zeppelin, and nobody else!"

This song is a reworking of a blues song written by Willie Dixon and recorded by Muddy Waters. The "race car" sound is Jimmy playing up the guitar neck. The strange sounds is Jimmy playing a Theremin. A Theremin is an aerial-looking device that creates an oscillating tone by moving your hand close to it and away from it and the pitch is controlled by a knob on a console. This was very avant-garde for its time. Another good term for their musical genius is Alchemy. You said you guys only listen to the Zep songs you've reacted to; well, this song sounds amazing on headphones because the music pans back and forth between the headphones. When you try it, you'll see what I mean.

Before the electronic age, we composed music for acoustic instruments, first for percussion and melody, but by the 1600/1700s composers were experimenting with sound effects too--playing with the handle of the bow on a violin or weaving paper between the strings to make them buzz, mimicking bird calls with trills, thumb tacks in piano hammers to make them sound tinny...
Good musicians today understand how to use electronics to explore the millions of sounds we have yet to hear.
Y'all should check out something like Varese Poeme Electronique or maybe some Harry Parch (he built his own instruments). There are also cool crossovers from classical to synth/electronic: Isao Tomita built his own massive synthesizers in the early 70s and recorded Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition, replacing every orchestral instrument with an electronic sound of his own design.
    Humans are awesome. :)

A phone-droppin', ass-kickin' rock legend, this song! So cool to see you guys dig the song and especially the "weird" interlude before the guitar solo, one of the most iconic ever. Another guitar legend, Jack White (A fun introductory recommendation from him might be "Rag and Bone" when he was with the group called The White Stripes), said that when he was a teen just starting to play, he broke his Led Zeppelin II cassette tape because he kept re-winding and playing this 20 seconds of FIRE over and over again. I may have that story wrong a little, but you know what I mean here. Shout out to North Carolina too, man! I used to live in Greensboro back in the 90's and Aughts, and have fond memories of that town and other places around the state, including Duke and Chapel Hill! Hav eyou guys done "The Lemon Song" by Zeppelin yet? I couldn't fully appreciate your car's awesome sound, but I DID hear John Paul Jones' bass come thru louder than I usually do on this song. Mark my words: On The Lemon Song JPJ takes his showcase bass up to the funkiest stratosphere ever, where only the musically ingenious can breathe!

Bless you child! You have learned never never to stop a Zep song during a J Page solo! That is sacrilege! The drums for Zep was always amazing because it was John Bonham..he was one of a kind. That’s why his death was the end of Zepplin. Robert Plant refused to just go on with a replacement drummer. Though now the original drummers son, Jason Bonham, took up his dads place behind the drums and he played for Zepplin the few times they have played live over the years. He was about 7 or 8 when his dad, the original drummer died. He is almost as good as his dad was but no one plays like John Bonham did.

I gotta hand it to you guys, you have some of the strongest, most sincere LED ZEPPELIN reactions I’ve ever seen! Ha Ha! It’s like somebody’s giving you mild electric shock and adrenaline at the same time! Yeah, they’re good. With these guys you can pick any song off of any album and it’s going to deliver. Not a lot of bands you can say that about. It’s reactors like y’all that have us Old Schoolers smiling and laughing!
    😂 Rock On, Brothers!

Great reaction guys...your commentary sums up Zeppelin's genius. Every instrument and the vocals stand out and it is difficult to focus on just one aspect. You are also now suffering from the other problem Zeppelin fans have...which is their favourite song? I gave up a long time ago, now i just tell people all their songs are my favourite but you should check out The Song Remains the Same. Its got a real hyped intro.

Led Zeppelin are among the gods of Rock n' Roll!!! And seeing this band created and formed in my time 1968 and watching and experiencing their music over the years has been Dope!!!! And watching you guys in the current generation scream and get chills....and cry and fall in love with one of the greatest Rock n' Roll band in the History of music...is ..Awesome!!!! However....you guys are just scratching the surface of the greatness of this group. And there are other gods in the music universe that are equal to Led Zeppelin. One of them is another band that I fell in Love with in 1969. I want you guy to react to "Roundabout" by YES. Give it a try!!! See if you can handle it!!! They are nothing you have heard or will EVER hear in this Life time!!!! Trust me bros.😁😁😁😁

For me, it’s the notes, the instruments, the interplay between the musicians. The pauses, the rhythm, the vocals. Just 4 supremely talented musicians coming together to create beauty. I love this band. Genius.
