    You gentlemen bring a smile to my face, it's like hearing it for the first time again ! There aren't many reaction channels that I can honestly say that about. Keep on learning and listening about the music! To pigeon hole yourselves to one type of music, IMHO, is a big mistake you'll miss out on some beautiful music ! As a kid growing up our FM stations played things from Charlie Daniels, to Zeppelin and everything in between. This is when AM was the only thing in cars, unless yer folks were able to afford a Caddy, Lincoln or another type of high end car. Then if you could afford it an 8 track, put in by yerself. So you young'ens are quite lucky in that respect, but it's kinda a two edged sword ! Now you get bombarded with all kinds of creepy shit that I didn't know about until later on ! And I'm going to subscribe to yer channel and if I make a comment on something and I call you " boys " it's not out of disrespect it's a sign of age, cuz I've a granddaughter a bit older than you! So good luck with your channel and study yer asses off, be kind to people and follow the " golden rule " !

    I'm seeing a trend that many young African American men and women are discovering the bluesy soulful greatness of Zepplin and I love it. This band makes you feel the story and the music like no other. I'm hoping that some younger bands will revive this style of music with new songs with real talented musicians and soulful singers. Maybe they already are, but i haven't found them yet.

    What a great raw reaction to a band that blew me away in 1969 as a freshman in High School. The English in the mid to late 60's had really taken the American Blues and adapted it to their own style and it was amazing. This first album was a gem from start to finish and in my opinion truly one of the greatest debut recordings ever released. It hit you right in the face and stirred your very soul in a way that I had not experience before. They were simply so young to be that good and their catalogue stands up to this very day. Enjoy this Zeppelin ride!

    This sounds better than a lot of stuff you hear today because it doesn't take as much talent today to create "music". Back in our day you didn't have auto tune and other electronic/tech equipment to put out instruments and fix your voice to sound better. You had to actually be able to sing and play and instrument and most of the bands wrote all their own music and lyrics... also, unlike today. It's why music from that era still sounds good... will you be listening to the majority of today's music in 50 years? Probably not. You'll still be listening to Led Zeppelin, Rush, Pink Floyd, etc.... 50 years from now.

    Dazed and Confused is pretty much the most exhausting song to listen to, ever. There’s so much going on, and the pace and energy just builds and builds, and then that turbo-charged beat kicks in after the spacey part, and Jimmy’s ridiculously fast and loose solo practically gives me a heart attack every time.

  • @ncbandit6409
    @ncbandit6409 2 ปีที่แล้ว +56

    Seriously, just start with the first album and do the whole catalog in order. We will follow.

  • @henriettaskolnick4445
    @henriettaskolnick4445 2 ปีที่แล้ว +27

    Don't worry, I have no doubt the headphones and whatever other parts of a setup you guys want will come. The strange sound in the middle is Jimmy using a violin bow on the guitar; he said in an interview that they used to buy used violin bows by the case-full because it was cheaper than buying them new. This album came out in January, 1969 in the US and March, 1969 in the UK. Singer Robert Plant and drummer John Bonham were both 21, bassist John Paul Jones was 23, and guitarist Jimmy Page was 25. You will find a lot of their music inspires moods/emotions and will definitely make you feel a kind of way. Try the first song from their first album, it's called Good Times Bad Times.

    I'm not sure if it was zay or zel who said that he was breathing heavy , but it made me laugh. Listening to this band is definitely a physical experience. Sometimes I realize I am holding my breath. My pick right now is Kashmir . Oh yeah, don't over look the basist John Paul Jones , He is also playing the " Church organ " for the band . Thanks for another great reaction.

    I'm pretty sure singer and drummer were like 19 or 20 when this was recorded, bassist and guitarist were like 23 or something. Insane to keep that in perspective when you hear this. Great videos. Fun to watch you enjoy it so much....great journey ahead of you.

    I saw LZ three times, once in '75 & twice in '77 (1st & 3rd nights), all at the Inglewood Forum. I was born in Glendale CA in '58, so by '74 I had my first job so most of my budget went for gas & concert tickets. So when I managed to score tickets in '75 for the Physical Graffiti tour, it took all night & was a huge PIA (got in trouble with my mom), and we ended up being seated BEHIND the right side of the stage where we only got to look down on the band from behind (my kids do not feel sorry for me). So when the drums rolled out for "Rock n Roll", Bonham starting the drums with the lights still down, THEN when Jimmy & Robert hit the stage, the lights go up and let me tell you I saw all of the first dozen rows on the floor of these astonished, gleeful, ripe & ready Zep fans' faces go absolutely ape-shit bonkers.
    Back then they could have sold out the Forum every single night for weeks & months.

    It still amazes me that this is their first album!!! Yes, a lot of the songs were sort of stolen from old blues artists, but how the Zep boys pulled it off. Watching you 2 makes my heart smile.

    Led Zep is what I bought on records in the early 70's, so great and groundbreaking! Now I listen to Bloodywood.

    Nothing makes me happier than when you have to stop it because you just can't take any more. I love it. This came out when I was in junior high. When this came on the radio, it was a major WTF moment. Absolutely jaw dropping.

    Guys,, enjoying the reactions.. I know you guys probably have great sounds in the car..But while listening to most 70's rock.. Use headsets.. you are missing a lot. If you are going to listen to Pink Floyd.... its a must to wear head sets.. Have fun guys and stay loose..

    I love the way you guys react!! We all reacted like this when we first heard them way back when!! Live it! We were into them at , 13,14,15 and when I finally saw them at 16, at Madison Square Garden, 1976! Not one else has ever come close! Nothing like having 17,000 people rocking to Zeppelin together! Awesome! Glad you guys get it!

    Yes headphones are great but if your car has a killer stereo where the music sounds like its panning from one side to the other (most cars now days dont work like that Ive noticed ) --- Its how I listened to my Zeppelin songs back in the day -- on a after market 8 Track pioneer stereo system in my 68 Rogue Rambler cranked up till I could feel the music from my head to my toes -- You all are making me smile watching you all discover the music of my youth -- So much more Zepp to enjoy -- Their blues tunes are epic but they also have acoustic and psychedelic -- Folk -- straight up rock - and even a country song or two lol -- Your gonna love this journey

    Always love to see young people discover Zepplin. I reacted pretty much the same when I heard this 45 years ago! Another group form this time you may like is 'Yes', I would suggest either the song "Roundabout" or "Starship Trooper".

    Great that you're enjoying the best rock band to ever grace the earth. Although you have great speakers in your car, still need to listen with a decent set of headphones, otherwise you're missing out on too much. I'm going to also agree with others that you might want to just start with album 1, track 1 and work your way through. Taking recommendations is great but seriously, just about everything they ever did can be recommended so you'll easily lose track. Anyway, love your reactions. Been my favorite group for over 50 years and I love it when people new to LZ enjoy it as much. Might be fun to do a studio version reaction, then try to find a decent video of a live performance of the same song. They were something else live, I can tell you. :)

    This came out just a few years after I was born, so it's the music of my childhood... and I (and most of my generation I'd say) had this same reaction. But not just to Led Zeppelin, most music was amazing back then... they were all each other's competition on the charts. Though these guys were among the best of the very best. And I had such a similar reaction, that I've been a professional musician since my teens. Keep up the great work Gentlemen!

    You guys reaction is awesome. Like watching again new. I was a young teen when this came out. We ALL went nuts listening to this. We couldn't believe what we were hearing. No one had heard anything like it before and we were hooked. In a millisecond, Led Zeppelin became everyone's favorites and it just kept getting better. They were and still are the GOAT in my book.
