    Inside the soap dispenser, the other opposite end of soap container, has a metal ball that goes up and down, closing/opening chamber depending on water pressure. The soap dispenser tip has the lowest pressure that drops ball and allows air to get in which basically sucks anything that the tube is connected to. For after use maintenance, connect a separate hose connected to clean water to flush it clean using the black tip nozzle. This is to prevent ball from sticking caused by soap residue. You don’t have to remove any unused soap from soap container. It takes a while to flush it using the soap container that came with pressure washer. You have to rinse the container. I have washed a few capped containers to know that it takes several rinse to get soap out.

    Most of them will not dispense soap at high pressure. That's why you have to use the soap nozzle. However they will keep spraying soap until all the soap is out of the hose.

    The machine will not dispense soap with the other nozzles. It may appear that way for a few seconds as the soap in the hose is cleaned out, but it should not dispense soap with the other nozzles. If yours does, it's broken.

    Ive found using a separate foam cannon vs using the detergent tank on the pressure washer is best for the reason you explained at the start of the video. The torq foam cannon from chemical guys is top notch!

    Forget using the soap dispenser for your truck. Buy a foam gun. Fits in the wand where the nozzle would go. Works great and puts a full thick blanket of soap on your truck. Much better wash! I purchased mine for less than $20.

    How do you adjust the PSI? Or do you just switch between angles? Different surfaces require different PSI as not to damage surface.

    • @moto_ak47
      @moto_ak47  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Increase your distance between you and the surface. You can also change spray nozzles to a wider spray pattern. So yes charging angles will help.

    To use the soap container. You can only use chemicals that are specifically made for a pressure washer. You can't just dump anything in and think it's gonna work. Then you use the soap nozzle to apply the soap. After applying change nozzle to rinse and you're done. You are better off getting the cannon attachment and forget the container.

    I hate to say but the info. You gave out is incorrect, the soap will not dispense out if you use the other nozzle tips, it’s only designed to work with the soap tip, your machine sense there is no pressure or resistance while using the soap tip therefore soap will be Dispensed and with high pressure the soap will not be sucked out , peace and God Bless

    • @moto_ak47
      @moto_ak47  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are correct I did make a mistake in that. At first I maybe thought I had a bad egg but It is the black nozzel that will only dispense the soap. And just a small amount once you switch back to any of the other nozzel just beacuse it still has a bit of soap in the line to be cleared out but then goes back to straight water as it should.

    You don't have to use up all of the soap before you rinse. You just take the black tip off and replace it with one of the other tips. The black tip is the only one that the soap will come thru. When you first switch you will get some soap because of the soap that remains inside the hose but that should quickly turn to all water.

      It was tricky. The black nozzle is the soap one and since there is still soap left in the line when you switch to a new pressure nozzle there is still soap that comes put for about 10-15 seconds.

    Manual requires 20 hour break in period at low loads. How do you accomplish this when there is no throttle control? Seems to me the warranty is void from the get go because there is no way to properly break in the engine. Engine is wide open or off. ?

    Great video. You're right, the instructions for the soap holder is non existent. Why won't the pump pull up soap with the high pressure nozzles?

    • @moto_ak47
      @moto_ak47  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm sure it may have to do with the pressure and it opening/closing the soap hose valve via a certain pressure. So the soap will only work with the black tip nozzle.

    I agree with Buckeye Drone. Only the black nozzle should dispense soap. The others will be (should be) water only, however they may dispense soap for a few seconds.
    This is the way it should work anyways. After using the other nozzles to wash the soap off, then switching to the wide angle to rinse, mine will dispense a bit of soap (even though I've been running straight rinse water thru it for 5 minutes-ish)
    A few lil quirks like that, but still better than going down the street to the car wash with quarters and a timer! :)
    I hope your washer is working out great!!

      I'm sorry but I'm having a real problem understanding how the Nozzle can affect whether or not soap comes out with the water, all of the water supplied to the wand comes out of that detergent tank whether there is detergent in it or none at all, there is no bypass valve to divert the water supply pass the detergent if it's in the tank, so can someone tell me how the hell a tip affects what's coming out of the tank??

    • @carrierobertson8681
      @carrierobertson8681 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@hollywood41p The tank has a hose that comes out of it (below the tank) and runs up to the water line/wand-hose. When the black tip is on (the soap tip), it has a different pressure, which will pull the soap out of the tank through the clear plastic hose, and out the wand hose. When the other tips are applied/used, the pressure is different and therefore will not pull the soap out. There is only the soap that's already in the line remaining, and once pushed out, will no longer have soap in the line, when using a non soap tip. In conclusion, it's done all off of pressure. Each tip has a different pressure!
