UPDATE:1 year and still cranks within the first 2-3 pulls. Probably will buy another when this one finally does bite the dust th-cam.com/users/postUgkx43QMbQqu67IZadu9ou8Sg1BdrunMRNqX . No issues at all. Very happy with it.UPDATE: After 6 months of use and over 70 uses I would still highly recommend this pressure washer. It does vibrate a decent amount but never had it “walk” like others have mentioned. No oil leaks, still seems to run like the day I bought it. Still cranks within 2-3 pulls every time. Very happy with my purchase!Have used it about a dozen times now. Plenty of power, cranks up on 1-2 pulls every time. My only complaint would be I wish it was a little taller to make it easier to walk with it (hits my ankles a lot) and that the two hose connections were a little further apart but it hasn’t caused me any issues. Seems to run a good 1-1/2-2 hrs on a full tank, overall a well built machine and definitely worth the money in my opinion.
Thanks for the information. One important thing I didn’t see mentioned: on my Craftsman 3000 PSI the soap tank will only work with the low pressure nozzle head. In my case it is the black nozzle.
That's one change that I wish they would make to the power washer is to have a switch to turn on the soap or turn it off. That way you can fill up the tank, and only use what you need and then shut it off. I'm glad you let me know that it will run everything out that you put in, that's what I thought was happening, but I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong - or if there was a way to stop the soap from flowing out.
I didn't know there was a soap tip for my washer. I thought any tip worked. So in the morning I am going to go look for my soap tip. Thanks for the info
This video was not very helpful to me. I already put in my soap and started to pressure wash. Getting an attachment would be fine if I didn't already start. You briefly mentioned using the soap nozzle (which I haven't been doing) so I am going to switch. But my soap instructions say to NOT USE the product undiluted. I was hoping that you would explain whether or not the soap would come out with a low pressure nozzle (which is what my instructions said). So, I'm going to go against the cleaner's manufacturing instructions in an attempt to drain the tank. I still don't understand if the soap will come out of any other nozzle rather than the soap nozzle.
The soap will only despise while using the soap tip. It works off a Venturi affect. Meaning when you try to pull at a higher pressure it won’t work. Use your soap tip when you need soap and switch to a higher pressure tip and it will only pull water. That being said there’s no need to add water to your soap, just switch tips
Thanks, man. I figured it was just going to straight up spray soap because I didn't see a shut off valve for the soap (which I will be rigging up soon), but wasn't sure if it worked like that.
If you're asking about the handheld tank attachment yes. I put like 2 ounces of soap and the rest is water. If you're talking about the tank that comes with the pressure washer itself, I'm not sure. Mine has never worked, so I wouldn't know what to tell you.
Thanks, appreciated! Using for 1st time today, 3300 cfttsmn. And they say ensure to thoroughly rinse/empty the pump of soap, too. They actually state that in the Honda mtr user manual. And I see there’s a product in Lowe’s just for the pump cleaning. TU again!
The power washer came with its own tank. If your asking about the hand held device, I bought that on my own. If you want info on where to buy the hand held device, check out my description. It gives you a direct link to Amazon where I bought it.
So - the first thing that came to mind was - I can go to the hardware store and get a shutoff valve and splice it into the line. Is this a bad idea ? ? I've watched three or four videos now, and nobody has mentioned doing this. As long as I'm asking. How about putting a cap with a tube going into the tank, and just pulling that tube, when You're done, and going a step further and (maybe) put the tube in a glass of water to flush the soap out when you're done.
@@TheSmokingBeard Well that certainly didn't answer the question. This video is about using the tank, and your answer is "i don't use the tank". Well thank you very much. You sound like customer support for Comcast.
Dude... just giving you an honest response. Not acting like I know the answer when I don't. Or would you rather I lie to you and feed you BS. Using a cut off value would probably work, but I'm not about to pretend it does just to make it seem as if I know what I'm talking about.
@smoke Exactly. this video was informative and Larry was doing too much over nothin. My dispenser started leaking and I found it helpful you said it wouldn't stop dispensing until the rest was used. it was so obvious when I heard someone else(you) say it lol I've got a soap cannon and it works so good you can just skip the stock dispenser all together. Thanks for posting the video man ps larry is lame😅
My manual also says about having to run water through the soap line as well when you're done to flush it out which just seems like an enormous pain in the ass.
Let me explain why...many of these pressure washer uses what's call an UPSTREAM method of dispensing soaps/detergent/bleach from your solutions tank. This means the water comes in from the source (your homes outlet/spigot) then picks up the soap, sends it through to the water pump in your washer and then out through the hose and nozzle. The cleaning solution is very BAD for the water pump and hoses. It will cause damage to your pressure washer over time. That's why they recommend flushing it out with plain water! The better machines are DOWNSTREAM whereby the water comes in, then goes to the water pump, then picks up the soap and then out the hose and nozzle. See the difference? Still a good idea to flush the tank, hose, and nozzle though. So yeah, just buy and use a foam cannon and forget using the builtin tank.
Is it true to NEVER let machine run more than couple mins w/o releasing water from wand? I should hv looked at other machine now that I read that. Guess just shut down the motor to avoid issues??tu.
No it did not answer any of my questions how the hell do you turn on the reservoir or open it up so the water will flow through it and you can use the soap
Thank you. This simple fact isn't covered at all in the manual. I spent a while looking for some kind of spigot that would shut off the detergent flow. Instead of this simple fact the manual has pages and pages of helpful advice such as "don't eat yellow snow", "don't use pressure washer inside the house"
@@TheSmokingBeard Thank you we discovered after using all the nozzles that no nozzle was the only one the cleaner would come out through.. thank you so much for responding to my question. 🙂
@@DavisBradley2 Curious, since you use the cleaner tank with solutions...is your pressure washer still working? Have you been refilling the tank with plain water to flush the system after each use?
do not use the power washer detergent tank to apply strong chemicals, flammable liquids. flammable and strong liquids because the power washer will smell like its going to die
Very misleading video. Its designed so the soap only dispenses with the black low pressure nozzle then does not dispense when you switch to a high pressure nozzle to rinse off the soap. You can fill the soap dispenser if you use it correctly.

Yep
Thank you, there is no mention in my manual concerning the onboard soap tank, when and how to use it. Job well done!
You're welcome! Glad to help!

That was the information I was after. Thanks for your comment.

I'm super glad you made this brother! Very simple, but if you don't know it could be a hassle.

Thank you for this. I was wondering if washing it would damage the controls or inner electrical workings.
No problem
Same problem with Craftsman 2100 electric pressure washer. The bottom hose is connected to the soap container but no soap comes out.
It's weird... right
Excellent video, I have a craftsman 3000 and this video was very very informative

Do you dilute the chemicals to pour in the tank or full strength?
If you're asking about the handheld tank attachment yes. I put like 2 ounces of soap and the rest is water. If you're talking about the tank that comes with the pressure washer itself, I'm not sure. Mine has never worked, so I wouldn't know what to tell you.

Great video that answered all my questions. I bought one of the foam cannons based on your recommendation and it’s perfect.
That's great!
Merci, explication très claires et utiles
Great video. Thanks.
You are welcome!
Do you add water in the foam cannon or only detergent?
It's a ratio... follow whatever the recommended ratio is stated on the soap. I usually go a little more soap to water to get a thicker result.
Doe it require a certain tip?
The attachment itself has the tip. If you're going to use the tips that come with the pressure washer, there is one specifically designed for soap.
Yes. See TX Lotto Scratcher's reply.
Thank you! Just the info I needed
Glad it was helpful!
I used your link to get the foam cannon at Amazon for the pressure washer and it says; page not found.
Thanks for letting me know. I will update it asap
Here is the updated link: amzn.to/3pVSzfT
Thanks for the info! Seems like kind of a design fail that there's not a knob to switch between the flow of detergent/no detergent.

For real this helps me
Just answer my questions gracias

What if you cut the line and put a valve
Now that's an idea 💡
So the detergent tank don’t add anything if you gonna use the foam cannon ?
Yes. The foam cannon does all the work

You use the white tip when needing chemical, then switch tips and it will pull water.
Thanks
Thanks bro
You bet
Got to be thebworst video I've seen. Wtf. Answered no questions!!!!
😪
Where is the pump under the pressure washer
I don't think it has a pump. Might be fed by gravity or pressure as the water is passing by. I could be wrong.
You didn’t say how to get the detergent to come out the hose
By using the attachment
No it did not answer any of my questions how the hell do you turn on the reservoir or open it up so the water will flow through it and you can use the soap
Ok
You never said which nozzel to use
15 or 45... 15 is stronger
This giy didnt answer his own post. Not once did he show us HOW TO USE the detergent with the pressure washer
If you go back and listen to the beginning, I explain why it doesn't work and offer an alternative solution.

Still didn’t work and it’s brand new
Return it
You didn't say anything about how to use it just what to use in it
The video gives you an alternative to using the soap tank on the pressure washer.
We put cleaner in the tank… Ran the pressure washer and none of the cleaner left the tank… ?
Use the nozzle that is meant for the soap

Ok
That's not true. I have one and I can change from soap to non-soap
You are correct. There is a nozzle that will do that, bit will it stop throwing soap when you put the other tips on?
do not use the power washer detergent tank to apply strong chemicals, flammable liquids. flammable and strong liquids because the power washer will smell like its going to die

No... a post on what I use and where you can get it. You can simply just keep scrolling.
i could have but u baited me @@TheSmokingBeard

I guess mine was defective because even after using a different nozzle soap would still come out.
I’m not being an idiot but you never told us how to use it you said something about the right spray nozzle but never showed us which one lol
My bad... it is the nozzle labeled "Soap"
You didn’t answer the question

Can I apply chemicals in that attachment?
