I saw them live in Pomona, CA. Vessel can sing everything like the recording. He is amazing. II did a drum.solo that blew my mind. Amazing group!Amazing talent. Worship!

OMG....YES !!! I was there !!! I haven't seen that recording but I'm going to watch it cause nothing I've seen has captured that magic of that night. When "Rain" started, it actually started raining and the strong winds blew Vessel's mike stand/podium over. We were lucky enough to be front row...the only benefit to having a bad back is the ADA section. I didn't get the greatest videos though because the fog machine was right in front of us. I did get a few though and great pictures. Thank you for the live video information !!!!! ❤
That is a great live recording but no recording no matter how good will be as good as being there, I guess. The scream that IV did when he screamed "Rain down on me" at the end of the bridge (?) was so loud and amazing live that I still hear it in my head when listening to the studio version. Amazing.
I've seen them live in a club, a shed (partially open amphitheater) and whatever Red Rocks is and the mix was very clean at all 3. Kudos to their FOH engineer Thom - he always does a phenomenal job.
Atlantic was easily the best song out of the set at Red Rocks. Saw grown men, including myself, shed some tears during that performance. Overall, one of my top 3 shows ever at Red Rocks. Red rocks is definitely an open air Amphitheatre. It is the only naturally-occurring, acoustically perfect amphitheater in the world!
I love his drumming in the song Jaws. It's an earlier track before the first album. It was evident then he's part writing the overall music with his drumming. Fills are always unique and spot on
First time I heard Sleep Token was at a festival. Never heard of them before that and was blown away by them. Been hooked ever since. I don’t know if someone already mentioned it but yes with live performances it is a whole group, but in the recordings everything is done by two people. II on the drums and vessel doing everything else, guitars, keys, bass and also his own backing vocals ect. III, IV and Espera are only there to support them on live performances (and doing an amazing job with it) but are not on any of the recordings of the albums. Maybe in future recordings we will hear them too.
Great reaction. As for live performances, they do use backing tracks for the "atmospheric" synth and piano parts, although Vessel does play some of the parts live. As for the backing vocals and harmonies, those are provided by a 3 piece female vocal group called Espera. As for the drummer, II, his background is primarily metal but has been influenced by drum and bass, and gospel drummers like Eric Moore among others. You should check out II's interview and playthrough of songs on the Drumeo TH-cam channel. It is amazing watching him drum!! Hope this answers some of your questions. The only Live performances that I’ve found that’s good quality is when II was at Drumeo. So it’s not the full band live performances, but if you’re interested, definitely check out the drumeo performances.

Although I have not been to a live show, they are known for incredible mixing in their live shows, so that it sounds better live than on recording. The singer plays all instruments other than drums in the studio, and while anonymous, has been trained both classically and in jazz. I hope this helps! Worship! If you did a deep dive of their music, and started from their first ep, One,(Two is the second ep, there are a few singles and three full albums) you will get fans coming from everywhere❤
