    For full frame there's Tamron 28-200. It's not stabilized so if you need that it's not the lens for you. But it's impressively sharp for such a big range, it's also very compact for such a range and it has f/2.8 on the wide end which is also impressive for this range. I don't shoot video so I can deal with the lack of OSS and it's probably my favourite full frame lens for travel photos. Paired with Sony's R lineup of cameras, it gives you even more reach since you can crop generously.

    one thing about full frame though is you can still use those apsc lenses and shoot at s35 mode. Thats what i do currently with my a7iv

      Yy, thats a great feature, but the cost of the a7IV is much more than the a6400 and if you have a limited budget, that's a big deal, especially if you're just starting out. But I think a7IV still a very great and versatile hybrid camera. Thank you for sharing.🙏 Have a nice day 😎

    I upgraded my Rebel T7 to a more advance APS-C camera. The Canon EOS R7 and it’s a game changer! The AF is blazing fast and has a lot of the modern/advance features that newer full frame cameras have.
    There was no reason to upgrade to full frame because I already invested a lot money into good lenses for APS-C format.
    Another advantage is that you can be further back from the crowds and still take a great shot. This will be an advantage for me when I go to Japan later this year for the fall season.

      Thank you for sharing! I think APSC is living its golden age now.😎

      @@petersroom I agree! Only downside is that there aren’t a lot of APS-C lenses for Canon. Sigma and Tokina are the best two at the moment. Canon makes a few, but they feel cheap and have a slow aperture. I’m hoping Sigma makes a few RF lenses for the R7

    i have a7iii and a6400. And someday i'm gonna buy an a6700. a6400 is lightweight and fast enough. for sns photography, high resolution is not a required option.

      It's a nice combo. I think I'll buy an a6700 too. It's seems too good to not buy it. 😎

    I bought a Sony 64000 camera to shoot TH-cam videos in my room, which is 4 meters long and 3 meters wide, and I want a lens that shows everything in my room, do you have any tips for me or the names of lenses that you recommend me buying? I asked Chat G Betty about it, and he suggested Sigma 16mm f/1.4 DC DN What did he hurt you??
    Please reply to me and thank you very much

    • @petersroom

      Thank you for asking! I can recommend the sigma 16mm for talking head shots the image quality is excellent., but it's not wider than the normal kit lens (sony 16-50mm) on 16mm. So if you buy the sigma you will get the same wideness as with the kit lens. If it's not enough, i recommend wider lenses like the new sony 11mm 1.8 if you need low light capabilities or the good and old sony 10-18 f4 oss lens which is very good for vlogging. Or there is the tamron 11-20 f2.8 if you need better low light features with a wide angle zoom lens, but it's pretty pricy. I can recommend all of these. If you don't know which lens to buy, you can rent them for a day. Than you'll know that does it fit to your needs or not. Have a nice day mate!

    Do u recommend A6400 in early 2024 since it's 2019 released model

    • @petersroom
      @petersroom  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, for photography I think it's the best "bang for buck" if you pick beginner cameras. The other option is the zv-e10, but I like the a6400 body more, because of the customizable buttons. If you want a little more feature, the zv-e10 has some software upgrades and flip-out display, which can be more useful than the a6400 flip-up screen. The zv-e10 is a little cheaper than the a6400, but I think the a6400 is a more "professional" camera. I think in the photography side, it will be good forever, because you shoot in raw and the autofocus is perfect. In the video side, you can find better one, like the fx30 or the upcoming models, but the main question is that: can you take advantage of the better camera? It depends on what you shoot and how you shoot. I think in most cases, the a6400 is good enough. If I have to buy a beginner camera now, I would pick the a6400 again. Have a nice day 🙌

      @@petersroom my only concern with mirrorless is that sensor is exposed to dust since it doesn't have anything to protect itself Like in dslr the sensor is covered
      But with dslr the problem is that companies are not releasing new dslrs anymore In 2023 and I am scared to buy dslr in 2023 coz I don't know that company will be able to repair my dslr since they have stopped it's production

    • @petersroom
      @petersroom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Manufactures switched to the MILC bodies so sure, the DSLR is outdated now. But the dust is not a big problem for me. There are some sensor cleaning tools, but I've never used it, because I've never had any issues with the dust and I have the a6400 since it released. My fear is the shutter problem. In many cases, the mechanical shutter breaks down over time. But again, my shutter is fine. :D

      @@petersroom I'd also say wait til next week! the a6700 should be dropping , im excited

    • @petersroom
      @petersroom  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@shaquillenoeltv I think that camera will be the best apsc hybrid camera, if the roumors are true, but it will be more than twice as much as the a6400. So still the a6400 will be very capable for budget option for beginners. But i'm waiting too😎
