Lyrics:
Branded on fire
Sure in your love
Chasing a light in a locked door
And I do want it, want it for a peace of mind
Want it tonight
It's so right, so right, so right
Tell me when you let go
You can let it right in
I don't like the way you
Speak like you're tied up
You can say what you want but I'm giving it a chance
You can say what you want but I'm giving it a chance
Give me little reason to refuse my centre
Shifting in with feelings of a sweet surrender
I can feel it I can feel it alone
And I know why I can see it show
In your revelator eyes
In your revelator eyes
Stand on your side
Won't give it up
Take the desire in you I saw
And I do want it, want it for a peace of mind
Want it tonight
It's so right, so right, so right
I can see you lie low
Keeping to your hiding
Call it reaction
To your denying
You can say what you want but I'm giving it a chance
You can say what you want but I'm giving it a chance
Give me little reason to refuse my centre
Shifting in with feelings of a sweet surrender
I can feel it I can feel it alone
And I know why honey it won't go
In your revelator eyes
In your revelator eyes
In your revelator eyes
In your revelator eyes
I think that the story of this video is about insecurity, and the difficulty of being with someone. This guy has so much to offer this girl but he can't get over his awkwardness, and seeing how easily she connects with other people makes him even more unsure. He retreats to something he knows, music, and finally he's able to tell her the things he wasn't able to before as he's made this beautiful breakthrough. It's such a beautiful story about being young and not knowing how to reach someone, but realizing the magic of music and how to connect.
Anyone else here because of Emily Rudd?
Emily Rudd is one of the most beautiful women on this planet
spotify please.
Is that a real bar?
I'm worried because I might never hear a finer album ever again. Beautiful nostalgic bitter sweet tones
This song is unbelievably under-rated.
Hey!! Where it was filmed? Which city is that?
Emily is the most beautiful woman in the whole world
revelator eyes + Electric Indigo + Deep Blue Burn = bliss
This song is perfect while you're taking a road trip. Just cruising through the night.
It’s been seven years, how is this still the most underrated song in the planet? ✨❤️
The way she's looking at him with her big beautiful doe eyes and that smile from
I got San Junipero vibe after watching this
I love how the colour pallet in their videos are the same as the album cover artwork.
The actor and actress work so well together and with the song and the mv, which is funny because the actor, Harry Reynolds, happens to be the producer of this mv and he wasn’t officially “casted”, they just kind of casually asked him to play the part.
This song was released in 2015. How come I haven't heard of this song until now?!!? TH-cam's algorithm sure knows how to bring our music taste to the next level somehow...
I've seen the video like a hundred times now, but every time I reach the part when she's singing and he's playing, I find myself inexplicably grinning. It's the cutest thing ever!
5 years ago I was in love with this band, this song and especially this video. At the end of this video you see a beautiful bridge next to a ferris wheel over a huge river with a cityscape in the background. I loved that bridge so much, that I said to myself, I will be at that bridge one day! So I searched and searched and searched for an entire week. I never did find it. So I gave up... I was so disappointed. Last month i took professional pictures called light painting photography on that very bridge. It's in Minneapolis Minnesota. I didn't realize at the time that this was the same bridge until last night I was watching this video and low and behold.. My dream finally came true!! My 5 year ago self told me I was going to be on that bridge and I was!! All thanks to the paper kites and the people who made this video. Thank you so much for making a dream I once had come true, some might think this is small and trivial but to me... It meant everything! I jumped up screaming "that's the bridge that's the bridge!"
If a place like that existed, life would be great
