Or, just, you know, feeling lonely, disconnected from everyone else. This makes me connected to a feeling.
It´s 3:00 am at my location, no skyscrapers but plain land. Hats off for the lonely ones.

Just went to their concert in Nashville, TN. This is the last song they performed. They sounded just like listening on TH-cam, but you could FEEL the music and words. The venue was small and it was personal. I will never forget the experience and the memory is forever etched into my being...

This song is like a time machine, this has brought me many times to 80's. I actually was born in 90's.
This takes me back to the dead of winter leaving the Rocky Mountain town where the love of my life who just left me, lived… it was dark… I was on a bus looking out at the frigid, crisp winter air…. This song played as I watched his house disappear into the darkness forever. I’m in that moment every time I listen to it. My heart will never mend 😢
Update…. There were wildfires in that town and his house no longer stands 💔❤️🩹 nothing but ashes remain. This memory will forever be burned in my mind. I cannot believe it’s gone.

I can’t get over the key change on the ‘ heavy on my mind’ lyric. I’m not sure what it is but it evokes so much emotion. It’s so perfect. Love this tune. Glad that I’m not the only one feeling it so much.

I've listened to this song at least 300 times on loop. Paper Kites Band is probably my ultimate favourite band right now and I hope to see them live one day 😊

Just here letting the guy who brought me here know that the songs of this band touches my soul and so does he.. We never met and he's the least expressive of his feelings which I'm not comfortable about.. May be that's the reason i am so scared and uncomfortable to move forward.. He has a really beautiful soul and i thrive to be with bond with him.. May be it isn't meant to be.. Everytime i hear the songs of this band i couldn't help but think of him....

Apart from the fact that even tho he left his room at 12AM, he got entry the first time even tho the bouncer said no entries post midnight, the song and the video is magical... Been playing this numerous times since few weeks...

This is my favourite song of all time! I listen to it every single day, on repeat! It gives me such good vibes. When I listen to it, I'm transported back in time, to Febuary, cruising along the interstate at night in Florida, when I felt so free. I love the music, the lyrics and the way you sing and feel it. I'm from Philadelphia and recently traveled to Ohio for a football game back in November 2019. One night I went out to a steakhouse with a group of friends and noticed a song playing on the jukebox. Having never heard it before, i found it was a pretty catch tune. So i pulled out my phone and opened the Shazam app. And discovered Electric Indigo! And now it's one of those songs i can't stop listening to. I started listening to other songs by The Paper Kites and they are a hell of a band! Amazing discovery of a band I've never heard of until that night in Ohio! Rock on!
One day my cousin Albert who loves music in English language (he speaks Spanish ) he found this song in youtube and he downloaded illegally I think from TH-cam .
He put it on a mp3 disc with many great songs which he found with this song . So , one day the saw me cleaning the street and he said to me" I got a CD mp3 for you "
I said : great I will have music to listen in the car . After that day took me a lot of time to put the CD inside my car , i always forgot at home . One day I don't know why I found it and I said " this is the CD which my cousin Gave months ago. So . I put it in the car and I listen all the song on it . Until I reached the number 156 and this song appeared . I loved it since then , in fact this song became the favorite of my ex girlfriend who I loved a lot she used Shazam I did not know this app so it was kind of new . We discovered the name of the band and the name of the song , i became fan of this band I am still waiting them to come to Mexico city . For songs like this my days are better . Now I am here watching the video 7 years later . Such a great song .a lot of memories listening this golden song
i bumped into this band around 2016 and each time I get back to it it's like I dump every trauma and start healing and I can't quite put my finger on how nor why it happens. It's like actual magic

This album always makes me tear up. There's been so many times in the last few years where I've come home from work and just felt empty, or like I'm missing out something. Or alone. It gets to about 9, and it's too early to sleep, but there's nothing to do. I don't want to look at another screen. I don't want to go to bed. My housemates are in their rooms playing video games.
One night, I walked out the door, put my headphones on and hit play on this album my friend had recommended as I walked down the street. I started crying almost immediately. It was just so beautiful. The music understood me. And as the album went on, I felt better.
So the next night, I did the same thing, but this time, I started dancing along the street. I didn't care. And once I knew the words, I started to sing along, waking the neighbourhood cats.
There's something so beautiful about everything these guys play, which has been said. But I just want to say thank you for making me feel understood. And for making me feel less alone.
