While Muslims form close to 20% in North India

There is soooo much to see in Lahore, the people are sooo friendly.
I am not sure if you had any troubles being there as a western woman.
I also wanted to add that Lahore was the capital of the Sikh Empire for 40 years and the people of Lahore still respect and honor the Sikh monuments/Gurudwaras in the city.
To them, I am grateful.
I have only been to Lahore once but God willing, there will be another chance.

We also have the ancient Indus Valley civilization in Sindh Pakistan that dates back to 3300 BC.
And then killed all those peoples, and force them to leave their home land their birthplace, their native culture land to just form a country on the basis of religion
Multan is the oldest city in Pakistan
Mohen jo daro (near to Larkana) is the oldest city.
mehgarh civilization 9000 years old,world's oldest university taxila and 1.3 lakh year old soan civilzation
Multan , South Punjab is oldest living city of Indus Valley continuously inhabited , since harrapan period ...
Mehrgarh in Baluchistan is the earliest human settlement excavated in Pakistan , South Asia

Pakistan offers a landscape from mighty snow capped mountains and glaciers to dwindling rivers from Himalayas, Lush green fields of Punjab and Sindh to Green blue beeches of Balochistan, a land which has cold sides in north to hot sides in deserts of Cholistan and Thar. One of the astonishing fact about Pakistan is the world coldest and the world green deserts (Katpana desert in Skardu and Thar desert in Tharparker) also lies in Pakistan.

I think most of Pakistan's governments are ingnorant for taking proper care of them, you can see Mughal sites of Delhi and agra with them and easily find the difference. Pakistan is more filthy.

My mom was born in Lahore and moved to India in 1947. Have been to her former home in Lahore. The neighbour lady who breast fed my mom along with her own daughter(due to my grandmother passing away while giving birth), was still alive in 1987 and actually met her there. She would not let me leave for two weeks and told the entire neighbourhood that her grandson was there and to come meet me!!!!
