Hey Isaiah, I'm currently in Bangkok first time here and I know im paying too much right now. Question: If I want to stay for 6 months rather than a year could I still get a place/price like this or would they require more of a longer term lease like 12 months? Also what is the visa situation like? Is this brother making border runs every 60 days and won't thailand crack down on that after once or twice?
@@shayach7983 hi, i’m not sure of his Visa situation, but to answer your question about the lease. It’s really up to the owner. Is it possible to move there but keep my job in USA? I work rotational shifts at work and have weeks off at a time with decent pay. Would I be able to travel back and forth multiple times a year and live there as a home base? Was wondering what requirements etc would be included to make that move. Thanks!
Best way to do it is to have a skill that you can do online and start an LLC so that you can work from anywhere in the world. IT consulting is a popular one. You only need to make like $50k USD a year and you will live nice in SE Asia.
Usually, you get the best price at a year lease, but if you negotiate and find the right person, they may still give you a good deal at six months. May have to ask around though.
Great video!
