How often would you recommend doing these? I already do some drills twice a week before a session. Could you do before any normal run? Or just on their own? Training for a 400 and 800. I’ve only been doing track stuff for about 8 months. I’m 53 so my technique is not great ha!
You shouldn't need too much. Almost all these drills can be done with very little mobility (we have athletes in their 60s and 70s doing them). If it is a struggle at all, just do a little less of each one - for example, just don't lift the knees as high etc. As athletes we only need functional mobility - so massively flexible muscles can be seen as a disadvantage because they will often extend further than is ideal in the running action (eg hamstrings leading to foot too far in front of the body) and require extra strength and energy to pull in the correct positions.

Twice a week is good. If you are not great at them a bit more practice would help, so no reason not to do them on other days. Try to ensure good practice - working on improving things you don't do well. Don't just go through the motions and come to bad habits.

Thanks much @Momentum Sports.
Permission to use your video as guide to my athletes.
You can use them for your athletes, but not to commercialise on a website etc, as that would breach copyright. Enjoy.
Merci pour la vidéo
Thanks so much.

It's our pleasure.

Looks pretty good but I'm guessing you need a good amount of mobility to do most of these drills, especially cycling?

Can it be used with middle and long distance runners?
100%. These are useful for all runners.
How to open stride and kick back.
Which time is the best for 400m girls
How many for each please?
Do 20 to 30 metres of each.

👍👍👍
Thanks.
Drills are useless if you dont focus on the symmetry of each side.
That's reasonable - we always promote working on both sides when doing drills.
