I have a 2005 jaguar type X. I was driving yesterday. All of a sudden the car made a loud thumping noise. The battery light came on & display showed gearbox fault. Any suggestions?
So do you have to change the transmission fluid and filter or not? cuz dealership says you don't ,but after a hundred thousand miles I believe that you will have to can you please tell me?

Great video. I had a weird day today in my 2004 STR. There is zero kickdown in D mode. JGate mode is fine. The revs are there and the supercharger kicks in. So JGate all fine. But normal D mode and even sport D mode. And the car just pulls like a normal car at around 2000 revs. Can you help ? Is it a kickdown sensor or acceleration sensor etc

Hi, I have a 2012 xf 3.0L V6, bought few months ago it has 90,000 kms on it. I have noticed that if I park on an incline after the car is there for while when I start and put it in R or D it gives a prominent clunk sound. And on high revs when the gear changes I feel a small jerk. However the jerk is not there on low revs Do you think it has something to do with transmission oil or it's something else.

Hi, r the ZF6HP26 transmission of your Jaguar I suggest you use the Fluip ATF Multispeed Plus www.additiviblue.it/shop/fluip-motor-oil/linea-atf-plus/fluip-atf-plus-multispeed/
Pour changer l'huile, il faut suivre la procédure ZF, il y a une température bien précise à chaque étape. Il est inutile de mettre des additifs. Faire la bonne procédure et la bonne huile, c'est tout ce qu'il a besoin. Si la boite automatique fonctionne pas, c'est qu'il y a un probleme avec la boite. Additifs ne changera rien.
S'il y a de la saleté dans le convertisseur de couple ou dans l'unité hydraulique, il ne sera pas en mesure de le résoudre dans un coupon simple. Les additifs bleus fonctionnent depuis de nombreuses années dans de nombreux ateliers en Italie avec un taux élevé pour les taux de change automatiques. En regardant nos vidéos, vous remarquerez que nous avons résolu ces problèmes pendant des années
Hey @Blue additives, ive got Jaguar s type 2.7d 2005. While driving at low speeds, transmission is all fine, but when accelerating there is a jump in rpm and i can hear some sound in transmission, also when driving on hills i can see rpm jumping again. Is that due to oil needing change and flush >?
No, oil change wont fix broken transmission, this is just ad for oil change as it supposed to be, periodically, but when its damaged as mine, this wont help. Need new transmission

This is about the first transmission with 5 gears and not the ZF version from 2002 on.

I hope I wouldn’t have to change the transmission. It will cost a lot!! But have you changed other parts before changing the transmission?
I am still looking for a worki g transmission, not worth changing separate parts as i dont know if its only torque converter that failed
