I work with kids and youth that have this every day and he has some clear signs of it. -Barely any body language -Thinking analytically, almost only rational thought -Detailed knowledge -Attention to detail -Social awkwardness; is not at all picking up the non-serious body language and tone the crew is using. That's a very good point. Dave Chappelle said in his interview "In the Actors Studio", (paraphrased) people don't like to be called crazy, it's dismissive. If someone is crazy, you have no responsibility to listen to their point of view or validate their argument. I think that's why terms like conspiracy theorist was so effective.

I know better than to tell people they can't film in public. I know better than to put myself between two people having a conversation. And I know better than to dismiss people as "crazy", even moreso when they are expressing the realities of our laws, traditions and Constitutionality.

I can tell you right now that being old does not mean being intelligent, polite, or thoughtful - in fact it usually means the opposite. While there are tons of great old people, there are shitty people in every generation
My most recent job was Geek Squad where my average client was 60+ and I was regularly shouted at, disrespected, insulted, rushed, etc - and the younger my clients were the less likely these occurrences were. This was a trend literally every one of my coworkers experienced and was clear as day
The word 'entitled' is used to describe young people, but I saw that behavior in old people more than any young person. Old people would demand help NOW and would throw tantrums when I would explain our reservation system, whereas young people seemed to understand the concept of waiting in line and had no issue with it whatsoever
Even our senior citizen coworkers agreed that younger customers/clients are much easier to work with and were overall more polite and well mannered

Man, that was some serious character development. At the end Ryan learned to stand up for his rights, and became a strong assertive white male. This was way better than anything Hollywood has produced in the last couple of years.
