Yea I was in the comments looking for something like this. I don’t know who this Ryan Long guy is but he’s forming insights without the vocabulary that usually informs these things. He’s describing “misalignment” in algorithms and “dialectics” regarding social trends. I assume given his vocabulary he’s forming these opinions a priori which I RARELY see anyone with media authority do.

there is a difference between vertical progression (hard grind) and horizontal progression (diversifying intellect.) When you are working a career its like having a square block. You run through utilizing every spot that a square block can go. Then you run into a wall filled with triangles. Creative person reaches down to their belt and takes up the triangle key. Intelligent person stares at the holes knowing they put all their hopes into the square key. Creative person walks over and cuts their square in half or points to a work bench where they made their keys. Sure the creative cant apply all of those keys as deftly or as quickly as the Intellectual that specialized in one, but they can keep moving.

Huge fan of both of these guys.
    Chris is obviously the greatest.
If you don't know Ryan long, to should get to know him.
He is somewhere in between a major affective disorder and George Carlin.
Heck of a comedian. Very active, laughs a lot. Very funny.
    Clever and topical humor.
These guys open talking about creativity.
At some point, Ryan says, "If you have 80 things to say in a day, you didn't make them up."
    NAILED IT.
That's why I usually just talk about me and how I feel. It's real, and generated by me, or by the life I have lived.
I tell my story. And, honestly, if I post 10 times a day, it has been a long day.
And I have been doing nothing but that.
Dead on, guys. Creativity is rare, any think they are, only some of those are.
Peterson talks about it. The average number of books written by people is 0.
    Almost no one does it.

The Pareto Effect. Jordan Peterson talks about this. In everything from basketball players, to stars in the universe, to which company becomes Apple, to which symphonies get played a lot for classical music: A few things are great, most are not. This is screwing up dating. With computers and online dating, people have access to billions of potential mates.
True story: I know a guy in Alaska, went online, found a woman in Louisiana. Then he dumped his wife. That ruined his own life, long story short. So now the guys all want the super hot women, the women all want the 6 foot guy in finance, who looks like a young Brad Pitt, comes from a great family, earns 6 figures a year.
Actually most things fail, most stocks are garbage, most people won't do anything remarkable, most women are not supermodels, most men are not that tall, not that capable. But with all this stuff out there, it raises people's estimation of what they want, what they think they are worth, how capable they think they are. I call it "The Kamala Harris Effect."

More recently he said "if you vote for me, I'll fix everything so good that you won't have to vote again" which prompt the obvious retort: "if that was possible, then why didn't you do that in your first term???"

I could keep going, but I'm sure no one with this level of trump derangement has the mental capacity to read this much. Information and thinking hurts their poor little brains.
So I'm not sure how you don't understand how all of those things are better, but I'm not surprised.

what about those who are both critical thinkers and creatives...like the leonardo da vincis of the world? i identify with this blend. while creating, i doodle and draw, write poems and short stories. i’ve even crafted a solution to education-personalized learning. through ai or schools designed around different learning types, we could tailor education to each individual's unique style. we can pick up cues in early childhood to understand how each person learns best. anyway… it can be challenging at times, but i believe the essence of life isn’t just about happiness; it’s about suffering with purpose. so let’s embrace our struggles, my friends, and suffer well!~

I don't know about the proximity and attraction. I mean, there is a correlation, but I'm not sure if it's that simple. 41:43
Some things just never break through my filter. I have a few Chad-looking friends but never got into guys. I'm not attracted at all to black girls, either, but Asians are hot. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind; the more, the better. I'm just not.
What I want to say is that the answer didn't fully satisfy my curiosity. It's a weird topic but interesting.

Type A usually are lower on openness and lower on contentious, while also being more less agreeable. Which when faced with a type B personality, which is higher in openness, contentiousness and agreeableness. Which type A's see type B's with quirks, and type B's see type A's as very bland and predictable.
As someone who is quirky, I often clash with type A personalities, due to their perception of my behaviors as completely misaligned with my actual filters and treat me in a manner that is not even close to how I'm acting.
While i can see a Type A, could see a type B as a failure or acting through a set of behaviors that don't appear to be a successful approach. It's just completely different, but doesn't mean once is worse then the other. Just different filtering processes.

I'd agree, often times I see Type A as the stereotypical Conservative and Type B as the stereotypical Democrat.

@@Darknight526 Type A's are the doo'ers they will bulldoze through any issue with relentlessness. While B types take a more artistic approach to solutions and utilize creativity.

In reference to the tickling porn conversation, I have this fetish. I can't speak to the origins of it, that feels like too much of a Pandora's box to psychoanalyze, but i can say that with my current partner I'm finding a lot of sub tendencies. But I would say the main attractors are that it does the same things as BDSM without bodily harm, it involves playful touch in intimate areas, and it causes squirming in a very pleasing way.
Not that it's particularly important, but I thought I'd shed a little light on it.

It's annoying how abortion is a tactic. It's unfair. Abortion is not a topic that will directly effect everyone, unless our taxes and medical insurance get involved. I wish more people could focus on general issues, not focus group issues when it comes to the president. Funny though, my fiance is completely against abortion, I'm sorta meh about it. I would have expected it to be opposite.

Abortion impacts population, therefore has societal impacts. Also, it's a moral issue and it's acceptance or rejection is indicative of the current culture.
