I have noticed friends who get out of long relationships go hard very fast with the next guy - "love" is exchanged after like a week, they're handing out keys, making all their friends meet this dude... Then before I've even learned their last name, *poof* never seen again. It's like all that big relationship stuff was a reflex they had to un-learn. The oxytocin from finally getting laid againjust rips through their brain and scrambles it temporarily. Taylor just did that on stage.

He has made this point in quite a few of his videos. That from childhood her need to be accepted is at the core of her being. It’s why she creates and will never stop. She was in a really avoidant, distanced relationship with Joe. She wanted him BAD and finally saw her answers in not Joe, but in Matty. She projected twin flames. Both musicians, etc etc. Feeling stuffed away, she was ready to get in touch with her darker side that wasn't raised in upper middle class USA. She wanted down the rabbit hole Healy offered. But he snatched it away. It's not her path and it closed up before she got a chance to balance her new feelings into reality.
That about did her in on top of the Joe stuff. And her new tour that propelled her to super-duper stardom attention during it all.
I think she struggles to feel as intense with the right guy if it's Travis than with the euphoric high of matty and her latent longings and searching for that elusive happiness.
Glitch and all songs about lusty love, the highs... on midnight are about Healy.
I sure hope she got good therapy after that whiplash of hers...

Even though it would be so much easier to just move on and completely forget about Ratty Healy interlude i need some answers to my questions before i do that. I really need at least 1 song on TTPD to tell us what was going on. Ratty was always a mysterious character in Taylor lore so i need her to reveal a bit of this mystery before i can finally move on.

Taylor has the issue that she cares to much about public view of her. When she was younger it was that she was always so broken-hearted and 'playing the victim' so she started to jump into new relationships quickly after a break up like Poor Tom Hiddleston or Ratty Healy to show everyone how very over it and fine she is after her 2 most important long term relationships ended. Both of those rebounds she was flaunting them- jetting around the world or jumbotron love annaucemtns 🙄 The lady doth protest too much, methinks! 😂

taylor did bring back invisible string for one night only!! she performed it on nashville night 1 (or 2?) after she learned that the city of nashville dedicated a bench in centennial park to her. after that one show she immediately changed it back to The One for the rest of the nashville shows.
